Holiday Inn Lincoln is on the edge of the city well located and is clean and comfortable. Increasingly hotels have automated parking this hotel charges £20 for the night reduced to £10 with a discount I appreciate this not a great amount but should be free like the hearty breakfast. I think I would rather pay for the breakfast and have fee parking!

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The best was the convenient parking which is hard to come by in Lincoln. Great discount on the parking rates, which made it even better. Tasty breakfast with a sufficient selection was much appreciated.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 2 nights. Very welcoming staff when we arrived. You have to pay for parking on a machine inside the hotel and the receptionist gave us a discount code to use! On arrival at our room we found thenTV didn’t work. We called reception and Nicky came up very quick to help. She couldn’t fix it so returned to reception organized another room for us and also gave us a complimentary drink voucher to use during our stay! First class customer service !! All the staff were very friendly and helpful!! We had a nice 2 night stay and the breakfast was plentiful!! Would definitely recommend staying here and it’s only a short walk into town

Unfortunately, parts of the rom had not been cleaned in between guests checking out /in. We made reception staff aware, who gave us a voucher for free drink/snack. When we returned approx 6 hours later nothing had been done/changed. Not a great first impression on the first time we stayed here. A shame as daughter is at uni here and family would plan a few trips each year. Great location, easy parking - a real shame

This is the third time this year I've had a 4 day stayed here. It's handy for work, nice walk into town in the evenings for food and drinks. Staff are always nice and friendly from reception to breakfast waiters. Breakfast is nice, fresh and plentiful with a choice of a light breakfast or cooked. The rooms are quiet comfy and clean and the rooms are attended to every day, which is not to be expected from every hotel chain, which is much appreciated. Even though I throw up the bed covers, it's always nice to come back to a made up bed and folded bath / hand towels.

We had a wonderful night stay over at the hotel we came to see the cathedral and castle . The hotel had plenty of parking and we received a discount code which allowed us to still go shopping and collect the car the day after for only £10 . The hotel was very clean and modern and the room was spotless . The bed was extremely comfortable as well . The breakfast was a lovely hot buffet with great coffee. Would highly recommend this hotel . I guess that’s why it receives high scores .

We had a very pleasant experience at the hotel as a family with two young children and a baby. The hotel is clearly very family-friendly. The rooms are well-designed with good sound isolation, which was especially helpful with a baby - we did not feel we disturbed the others and neither were we disturbed by other children. One area where we feel there is room for improvement is the breakfast. Unfortunately, the selection was quite limited. There was no proper bread available—only sweet pastries or toast bread—and there were no basic savory options such as cheese or ham or salmon. Additionally, the scrambled eggs had a very unusual taste and were not enjoyable. We would happily stay at the hotel again and recommend it to other families!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s in a good position to get to the centre of town. It’s clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is good. The rooms are really nice. Our only issues were the shower flow is weak and the beds are small (4’ 6’’). Neither spoiled our stay but something to be aware of if you’re a larger person or not keen on the person you’re with.

It’s a long walk to shops, bars etc and on a very busy road.Nothing much nearby.The rooms and breakfast were okay.Paid £30 for our little dog to stay but didn’t get anything for him as in other dog friendly hotels,we’ve stayed in.We left a day early.

This is not quaint medieval Lincoln ( 12 min walk away) and the surrounding environment is harsh and full of ugly, student accommodation blocks. Big car park to rear but difficult to find as road signs are poor. Hotel signs also hidden by new building next door and not located on the street address.

The hotel was well situated for the University. Staff were friendly and helpful. They saved our bags for us and at breakfast cooked us aone vegetarian sausages. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The shower was not a power shower but adequate. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and the coffee machines were poor (one was broken).

Excellent good quality breakfast and restaurant meals. Ok choice of food, basic foods like jacket potatoe at reasonable prices would be appreciated for lunch time. Good location for getting to city centre.

We had a very pleasant experience at the hotel as a family with two young children and a baby. The hotel is clearly very family-friendly. The rooms are well-designed with good sound isolation, which was especially helpful with a baby - we did not feel we disturbed the others and neither were we disturbed by other children. One area where we feel there is room for improvement is the breakfast. Unfortunately, the selection was quite limited. There was no proper bread available—only sweet pastries or toast bread—and there were no basic savory options such as cheese or ham or salmon. Additionally, the scrambled eggs had a very unusual taste and were not enjoyable. We would happily stay at the hotel again and recommend it to other families!

It was very clean and staff very good and polite unfortunately when we have stayed in the past the breakfast was far better ànd we looked forward to them. Now they seemed very basic and disappointing.

Lovely new hotel, great carpark. Breakfast was hot and well stocked with hot plates! Its a 15 minute walk to town from the hotel. Our room faced the car park so was relatively quiet. Would definitely stay again

I arrived early and was expecting to be asked to wait until 3pm to check in. However my room was ready and so the staff on the front desk were able to give me my key card. My first floor room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful - I was meeting up with some of my old College friends and they were able to direct me around the roadworks so I could get to the city centre. The air conditioning in my room was very much appreciated, as it meant the room temperature was maintained throughout the night. As there was very little traffic, I was able to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent. There was a good range of options available and allergens were clearly indicated. As this is self service, it means there should be less wastage. I enjoyed the cooked breakfast, and was very impressed with the paper containers for the jam/chocolate hazelnut sauce/marmalade which accompanied the toast and croissants.
