Our stay last month at Comfort Stay Athens Airport Hotel was a pleasant surprise! The only thing that gave us a moment's pause was the somewhat isolated location. As we drove through the neighborhood, our taxi driver did not seem familiar with the area, but as soon as we arrived, we realized that this place is a hidden gem! The room was immaculate, spacious and well-appointed. The gated central courtyard area was charming with plenty of seating and several shade trees. We envisioned relaxing there with a glass of wine and regretted not having arrived during warmer weather. The young woman who greeted us was extremely friendly (with perfect English) and professional. A very welcome feature of the service at Comfort Stay is the free shuttle ride to the waterfront restaurants in the area. We had a great dinner there and were relieved to know that, at the end of the evening, we had only to ask for the shuttle to come back to return us to the hotel. We would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat and recommend it highly if you need to be close to the airport or close to the coast.

Great option when looking for a hotel near the Athens Airport. Great communication regarding shuttle service, reliable and timely shuttle service, and very friendly check-in process. Provided breakfast even though we had an early flight.

Staff were very courteous and wonderful, and the room was clean and fine. They have a nice little place with fruit trees and a courtyard. That said, the location was far away from everything, not as we had expected. We ended up taking an Uber to Vravrona beach for dinner, which was excellent. Brabrona at Vravona beach offers amazing seafood and amazing service. The Comfort Stay shuttle we were picked up in at the airport was an old, beat up van and the driver was less than enthusiastic to see us. Unfortunately the breakfast we paid for was also quite disappointing.

This was a unique stay. We were expecting an airport econobox hotel; instead, we had a lovely stay facilitated by a kind and personable staff. A nice outdoor courtyard, breakfast delivered to the room, well coordinated shuttle and thoughtful recommendations for dinner... First class! Only downsides were if you want to walk to dinner to see the neighborhood, there are not many options, and a slow draining shower. But if you take the staff recommendations, there is a restaurant that will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. Would definitely stay again, a refreshing change of pace compared to more corporate stays.

Maria and staff were wonderful. Quick response to request for a pickup from the airport. Great spot just 15 minutes to the airport. Inn is charming with a great courtyard. The hotel pickup was a bit confusing. We had to contact the hotel multiple times to connect with the shuttle. Our driver was very nice and friendly but the shuttle van was very rundown and stained and smelled bad. Upon arrival we were a bit surprised at how remote the area was. We struggled with the WiFi and trying to get some food for the evening. The staff was helpful and assisted us to place a delivery food order because we needed a Greece number in order to place it. We ordered delivery because did not feel safe to venture out on our own to find somewhere to eat. The room we booked was spacious but the extra bed linens were dirty. There were a total of 2 pillows for a place that should potentially accommodate up to 6. The shower is tiny. I’m a small person and struggled to find space to put my arms over my head to wash my hair. Walking around barefoot our feet were filthy. Overall it was nice to be close to the airport for our early flight and the shuttle was prompt and reliable but the online photos are very deceptive making the villas seem much nicer than they actually are in person. For the nightly price we paid for a one night stay we expected a much better “hotel-like” experience.

The property was an excellent option for a short stay / overnight stay and very clean, comfortable and quiet location. Yea and coffee making facilities in the room were great however would have been perfect if there had been some milk in the fridge. Would definitely book this accommodation again.

The owner tried to make the property nice, but kind of struck out. She fixed the place up nicely, but in doing so, caused some problems. First, she put a new stand-up shower in, but the shower is so small, you can't move in it. There are bottles of soap and shampoo on a rack, but if you move, you knock the bottles off. It has a nice waterfall, but because it's so small, you actually have to step to the side of it to wash your hair. When you turn the water on to adjust it, the shower is so small it sprays out on the floor making it very hazardous because the floors are marble. It's very dangerous. The bedroom door that leads to the outside has a 1 inch gap on the bottom of it. Mosquitoes, ants, etc. were coming in the gap. When we checked in, the lady said she would she would come down and register us in 10 minutes. An hour later she was still not there. We ordered breakfast to be delivered at 8:30 and then the shuttle at 9:00. Neither happened. A young lady came walking down at 8:50 with a basket in her hand with bread and olives - not the pancakes and omellete we ordered. The van didn't show up. I had to chase the lady down and she said it was set for 10:00. The lady the night before wrote on her paper 9:00. The place was nice, but there needs to be some safety upgrades and the management of the place is really spotty

Very nice property with beautiful courtyard. Room was spacious with modern amenities. Free shuttle worked great even for 5am trip to airport for early morning flight. Restaurant menu selection limited but cook was able to leave off the bechamel on a still tasty moussaka to meet our dairy intolerance.

Clean and inviting room. The hotel staff had brought a breakfast to my room in anticipation of an early departure. I also was given the option of a hot breakfast brought to my room. The shuttle to and from the airport was free and on time.

Our stay was perfect for our last night in Athens before flying out the next day. We took an Uber to Fira for one last day (easy to do) trip. The planes are quite loud going overhead, but there don't seem to be many flights during the night, but they do begin early in the morning.

The staff was running ragged because she was the only one here and was doing the cleaning the reception and taking people to their rooms. It was pretty chaotic. But she was kind and fast.

Highly recommend Comfort Stay. Rooms were nice . Had a single room that fit our 4 Adult family members well (3 beds) The Staff was the best part , very friendly and accommodating. Very convenient to the airport without all the traffic.

1. I did not receive the welcome drink 2. The pickup from the airport - 30 mins wait plus additional 10 minute wait (their driver drops off their priority passengers first before dropping off Comfort Stay passengers)- after a 12 hr flight, 45 mins to get to your hotel, it was frustrating when I could have hopped in a taxi at the airport and arrived 10 mins to the hotel. 3. The drop off back to the airport- The lady working at the check-in counter obtained my boarding pass info (I even showed her the information on my phone to confirm accuracy). She suggested arriving 2 hrs advance to the airport. She informed us pickup time was 4:30am for our 6:30am flight. We waited at the front until 4:47am and had to waive down an employee/driver to ask about our transportation. He stated “I wasn’t aware of a pickup at comfort stay” I had to show the driver my receipt and info to show we were a guest at the hotel. Needless to say, after about 10 mins. He agreed to transport us to the airport. I definitely would not stay here again. The airport transfer was appealing and it was close to the airport, but the transportation was sketchy. Just make sure you have extra money for an uber just in case hotel transportation falls through.

We waited at the front until 4:47am and had to waive down an employee/driver to ask about our transportation. He stated “I wasn’t aware of a pickup at comfort stay” I had to show the driver my receipt and info to show we were a guest at the hotel. Needless to say, after about 10 mins. He agreed to transport us to the airport. I definitely would not stay here again. The airport transfer was appealing and it was close to the airport, but the transportation was sketchy. Just make sure you have extra money for an uber just in case hotel transportation falls through.

Maria and staff were wonderful. Quick response to request for a pickup from the airport. Great spot just 15 minutes to the airport. Inn is charming with a great courtyard. Makes you want to stay longer and not just use it as a transit booking as I did. Great recommendations to seaside restaurants and free shuttle to and from restaurants as well. This was our worst experience in Greece. Before arrival, I communicated with the hotel and was told to call or WhatsApp when we arrived at the airport for our transfer. We called, WhatsApp for an hour, turned our cellphone on to roam just to be able to make a phone call, all to no avail, NO ONE ANSWERED. After an hour and half to trying, we eventually took an uber to the hotel, only to turn up to an empty hotel with no reception or anyone to greet us. The lovely receptionist did make us dinner, however, no discount was given and Lo and behold the transfer DID NOT turn up to take us back to the airport and again, did not respond to any message or calls. While we were waiting for the transfer that did not turn up, a couple from Canada came to check in and was appalled that no one was at the hotel to check them in either. This hotel services needs to be reviewed Expedia.

We came to the hotel as we wanted to be close to the airport for an early flight. We highly recommend this hotel. The room was lovely. We were given a free shuttle to dinner at a local restaurant as well as a free shuttle to the airport. The check in was easy and went smoothly. The staff member was very pleasant and helpful. Shuttles were on time.

Great option for a 1-2 night stay when going to and from the airport. It’s cute, cozy and a little in the country side which I loved. The free transfer was super convenient and worked perfectly for us given our flight was at 3 am. It’s like 10-15 minutes from Athens airport. Also close to Rafina port if your taking the ferry. It’s a bit of a drive from the city unfortunately but we were able to get a transfer to a cute little beachside area close by for dinner which there were tonnes of options.

The hotel is far from the airport. You can not walk there. Its in residential area. There is no shops or restaurants to walk to. There was a menu in the room from local restaurants for delivery. The place was very peaceful and clean. . Shuttle picked me up at 2:30 am for my 6 am flight.

We only stayed one night, but we definitely enjoyed it. We wish we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at the property and it was delicious. She even made plain spaghetti for our daughter, which was not on the menu. The transportation to the airport was right on time. We will definitely stay here again!

Free shuttle from airport. The courtyard was very cute and greeted by 4 friendly kittens. Clean place. Pleasant check in. Very accommodating knowing that we had early flight, host provided a basket of food for breakfast to take with us. The free shuttle the local restaurant was also a plus. Very nice property with beautiful courtyard. Room was spacious with modern amenities. Free shuttle worked great even for 5am trip to airport for early morning flight. Restaurant menu selection limited but cook was able to leave off the bechamel on a still tasty moussaka to meet our dairy intolerance.

It did the trick for a place to stay before our early flight out of Athens. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the shower was nice. The airport transfers were easy, especially on the way to the airport. Receptionist was very kind a friendly. The courtyard did not look like the pictures, though, and had a big cardboard box in the middle and a number of other out-of-place items scattered about. The dinner, as described by other reviewers, was not great. We may have overlooked this in the list of amenities, but there was a small kitchenette with a fridge and a little stovetop in the room so anyone staying here should grab food from a market for higher quality eats and to save money.

Staff were very courteous and wonderful, and the room was clean and fine. They have a nice little place with fruit trees and a courtyard. That said, the location was far away from everything, not as we had expected. We ended up taking an Uber to Vravrona beach for dinner, which was excellent. Brabrona at Vravona beach offers amazing seafood and amazing service. The Comfort Stay shuttle we were picked up in at the airport was an old, beat up van and the driver was less than enthusiastic to see us. Unfortunately the breakfast we paid for was also quite disappointing.

Loved loved this property. Hidden gem within the city. The hotel was so clean and Theoni at reception was so lovely and helpful. The hotel offers the convenience of taxi to restaurant Arhondion which was an amazing suggestion and experience. Definitely would consider on our next trip back to Greece, thank you.

This Hotel is without question the lowest quality stay I have ever had. It is truly awful and I could not recommend anybody to stay there, it is hard to believe that people are leaving 10/10 reviews. The hotel took over 1.15 hr to pick us up from the airport which was about 10 minutes away, that was nothing compared to the state of the room. it was dirty, poorly equipped, broken toilet seat, broken toilet paper bin, some electrical wiring hanging out of the walls the vanity unit in the bathroom was actually placed onto a concrete block with a brick on top, It really is a horrid place to stay. We questioned the receptionist about the quality of the room 3 times and she said it was one of her deluxe rooms, I wouldn’t let my dog stay there. The breakfast was a small selection of poor quality products badly displayed ….We didn’t even consider eating it, We went to the airport for better food. The Egyptian cotton sheets were 50% polyester ??? The room was cold and what would normally have been a coffee making unit had been pushed to the window so that the light wouldn’t come in – that didn’t work! There were no tea and coffee making facilities, not even a single bottle of water in the room, nothing about this hotel is good in my opinion, I have not got a positive word to say! Avoid it as much as you can, I want to get my money back, It was not as described. More like a bad hostel than a hotel it is awful, the staff were unengaging. Paul
