There were a number of issues. The door key did not work the first and I had to go back downstairs to the desk. The remote for the TV and one lamp did not work. And when i was leaving and had closed the door and later tried to get back in and though the door key signal green, the door would not open and there was no one at the front desk at that hour. Thankfully, I had already gotten all of my things put.

Carpeting was filthy. Cockroaches. No breakfast as advertised. Barely got coffee, luke warm and no creamer. No pool as advertised. Sign on door, in case of fire, dial Operator. No cord on phone to make an emergency call. This is non-compliant with many regulations. Non working alarm clock. Had to have help getting TV to work.

The parking was convenient. We did not use the pool. We stay here often because it is close to our workplace when we have to stay over. It's clean, in good condition, inexpensive, and the people are excellent.

I wasn't expecting much for $34 but the price, location and ease of registering was hard to pass up. Pros were price, location, parking, it was quiet, the window opened so we could air it out. Cons were it's definitely a bit old and dated and had a musty stale odor.. The odor dissipated once we opened window for a bit. But... We saw zero bugs or cob webs/spider webs!!! It was clean.. Stains noted on furniture, peeling paint, scuffs here and there, etc. Like I said.. It's old. There was no microwave if that matters to anyone but there is a small fridge. My hubs said shower pressure was great. It was under 2 miles one way to a great local coffee shop, Rise and Restore... And about 2 miles the other way to Tudor's Biscuit World.

That staff was extremely nice the room was clean for what it was ! But it was very worn down chain on door broken , ice machine broken , pool broken bathroom fan broken ! I stress again no signs of bugs staff extremely friendly and nice

The hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that the lobby was locked at all times, requiring going outside and ringing the bell to get into the lobby for coffee in the morning. (Coffee was cold, by the way.)

You get what you pay for. Spend the extra $$ and book somewhere else. First, the good things: The room was clean (for the most part) and the hotel staff were super friendly (although my sister was convinced that both the hotel owner and the night time registration clerk were both creepy psychopaths that were going to murder us in our sleep). I thought they were nice. Which is why it's getting 2 stars instead of just 1. Now the bad: Half of the reason we booked t his hotel was because the pool looked awesome on the website. When we got there, the pool was not only closed, but looked like it had been closed for a while as the place was being used for storage. No where on the website did it indicate that the pool was closed. As I was checking in The hotel has a strict "No Smoking" policy: There is a sign on the door leading to the lobby that indicates there is no smoking allowed in the building. At the registration desk there are two signs indicating no smoking and that if it is discovered a guest smoked inside their room, a $150 cleaning fee will be added to their bill. At check in the clerk not only verbally told me "no smoking" but I had to sign an agreement as well that said I wouldn't smoke. About the time I was signing that, the hotel owner came to the front desk to make sure my check in was running smoothly and also told me that if I wanted to smoke I'd have to go outside. Fine. Neither my sister nor I smoke. I signed (more on this in a minute). The

Upon arrival, we were dismayed to find that the hotel was virtually without business. There was no keyed lock on the alternate entrance and no phone in the room. Toiletries were virtually absent. After checking in, my son googled the hotel and one comment said that it was permanently closed. The beds were fresh, and the staff seemed nice, but it does not seem ready for business.

Nice folks at the desk. Cheap and clean- is all I needed to get done sleep while traveling. I would not stay there for more than 1 night as the pool wasn’t working and the beds weren’t really comfortable. It was great for what I needed and the price was right.

There's a presence of bed bugs in the room i was in and actually the employee made sure that I have a room on the 2nd floor and the ice machine was out of order. The room was in need of a thorough cleaning

The only reason for my stay is that it was night and I couldn't see the road in the thunderstorm. If there hadn't been a power outage, I would have chosen one of the other hotels next door. After checking in, I noticed this property used to belong to another company. It has not been renovated at all. The carpets are nasty. While the sheets and towels are dingy and some have stains, they did smell clean so at least they arè trying. I hope someone will see this and help the owners bring this facility back to its original purpose. On a brighter note, the desk clerk was sweet enough to light my way back to my car and lit up the parking spot in front of my room. THEN the lights came back on.

My biggest issue was there was a riach in the microwave alive. Where else could they have been. I have pictures

Their were roaches everywhere. I've stayed several times but always on the second floor. The past two times we've stayed it's been on the bottom floor and the bugs were terrible

Checked in and dozed off to sleep woke up with unexpected visitors in bed with me, Bedbugs. They refunded me and I immediately moved to another hotel.

Bedbugs

Room not as advertised. Stains on the wall and carpet. The bed wasn't even made with a proper bed liner. Just another top sheet not tucked in. Went to Hilton instead.

We walked in and left within 5 minutes of seeing how dirty it was.. there was a roach crawling on the headboard.. we pulled the sheets back and found bed bugs.. the walls were falling apart everything was either dirty or yellow. we literally left 5 minutes after checking in but they don’t give refunds so I paid $65 for 5 minutes..

Toilet would barely flush, they refused room service and declined to provide clean towels. Found bugs in the room and in our food we had set on the counter. Multiple cigarette burns in bedding, blood stains on sheets.

Cigarette smell was really bad!! Beds are only doubles

An affordable, slightly off the beaten path location. The property is older but still in good conditions. Many restaurants nearby.

Great staff. Conveniently located. Great price. Clean. Was just dated. That's not a bad thing. I just wanted to be fair in case someone stayed here based on my review and thought it was modern. I'd stay here again.

The property is very dated. The pillows, mattress and towels were all quite inadequate. Conversely, I chose the room based on price alone. It was the least expensive of anything around, and you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this motel for a family, but it did work okay for a man traveling alone.

Used a discount booking site and this was the cheapest there and there not many amenities. Check-in was easy enough and the clerk showed me to my room and it was fine. I looked at the bed, it was a room with two double beds, and turned out o be comfortable. There was no hair drier, but the did have an iron and board. Their WiFi was good. All room entrances were from the hall way.

I've stayed here on multiple occasions. The staff is always friendly and professional. One this occasion, the gentleman at the desk noticed I was limping a little. He suggested I opt for a downstairs room this time to avoid the stairs. Not many would notice; even fewer would care. This is five star service.

It was ok it served the purpose I needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property management is awesome and super nice and good at there job and they are very friendly and easy going the dude who worked the front desk is cool

Best rates. Excellent daily housekeeping. Honest and understanding management/ownership. I originally booked two days but ended up staying a lot longer. I highly recommend.

It was a restful place to stay. Staff was helpful and did their best to accommodate requests.
