Nothing really unique but i dont care it was a room which had beds, TV, fridge etc. There was nothing outstanding about the place but nothing bad about it either. Sure it could use some sprucing up in certain areas but i never once was like i wouldnt stay here again. Owner was very friendly and we felt safe the whole time. So overall it was priced fairly and provided us with what we needed which was a place to sleep after we were out all day exploring the area.

10/10 would stay again. While it could use updates, the property supplies everything you'd need for a motel stay. Cable TV, microwave, mini fridge, plenty of outlets, great lighting, coffee maker suitable for k cups. Given inflation I definitely feel that the cost to amenity ratio was perfect for what I was looking for. And a shoutout to supplying an array of coffee brands!!! There are also a good amount of places to eat in the area and the owner provides a really detailed binder of this. The grocery store in town is stocked with everything you'd need.

This is the cleanest and most well kept motel I have ever stayed in, especially for its age. Super charming. Highly recommend. No frills but extremely clean and comfortable. Whoever manages this property clearly takes pride in a job well done and it shows!

It was an old-fashioned strip motel with each room having its own outside door. Very clean, bed was comfortable, good Wi-Fi, water pressure was good and plenty of hot water! We stayed on a very warm night, and the air conditioning was excellent.

- perfect place to crash after long day of driving - Great farming town, friendly people - Got my run in and had a delightful time running through the town - Super kind and friendly management - Very comfortable beds - Bathroom and air conditioner housing unit could use some upgrading, visually, but they worked! - It was a steal at $45/night - Dog-friendly, too! - Continental breakfast was just enough to get us on the road (doughnuts, coffee, I hot cider, cold cereal and milk, instant oatmeal)

The room was classically old, but very clean. The website indicated hair dryers, but they're not in the rooms. We had to go ask for one at the office, which isn't convenient when your hair is wet! We're used to free breakfast and other amenities, but all in all, if you need a clean and comfortable place to sleep, this is fine!

The property is very old, but has been refurbished. The room was very clean, although a little musty smelling. Nothing a good air freshener couldn't cure. The sheets had a wonderful just laundered smell and were very crisp and clean. Bed was comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. We never saw a soul during our 1 night stay. The key was in the door when we arrived and we dropped it off in a basket at the desk the next morning where no one was present. Very strange but not inconvenient.

Stayed overnight on a Sunday. Absolutely no services in this town on Sundays. The only food option was gas station pizza across the highway. We had to wait at the check-in area for someone that spoke English to arrive. Rooms were clean and the A/C kind of worked. OK for an overnight stay, but there are better places further along the highway......

The door lock was broken (non existent) so we couldn’t lock the door at bedtime from the inside. We stacked a chair and dresser in front of the door for our safety. Front desk admitted it was broken and said someone “might” fix it this week. Very negligent

It was a comfortable place to stay for two nights while on business. It included a nice book of area restaurants and other services. My room shared a door with the room next door, and I could hear every word of their phone call, so not a lot of sound proofing. But starting around 9:30 p.m., everything was really quiet.

The staff was very nice and helpful, they recommended places to eat close by. The room was very clean and more than met our basic needs! One of the staff members was power washing the building and screens on the windows. Very impressed with how well maintained this older motel was! Very close to Walnut Grove and Jeffers Petroglyphs!

Boy, does this place take me back to my childhood when places like this were the norm. A cute, little roadside motel that was so common in the 1960s/70s, before the generic and bland chain hotels took over. Though dated (obviously), the room was clean and comfortable. The service was very good and the one staff member that checked me in was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the "throwback" feel of this place, and felt a real sense of nostalgia staying there. We need more places like the Lamberton Hotel.

We never ended up staying at OYO as in error I booked the incorrect check-in date by 1 day. I was unaware of this until one of the hotel staff called me at 9:15PM the night before we thought checkin was to see if we were coming. At that point I realized my error and asked the gentleman to change my checkin date to the following evening…..his reply was this was a non-refundable reservation and I would need to call Expedia. This motel is in a town of under 800 people and you would expect a more courteous attempt to make a customer happy. I wasn’t trying to get my money refunded I just needed my checkin date moved 1 day later. The only reason I can think that a motel would call to see if you were coming was to allow them to book the room that was already reserved, I have no proof of that just my assumption. We still went to the museum in Walnut Grove but we refused to stay at this hotel and pay them any more money. Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service, something I wouldn’t expect at all from a small town business. I did contact Expedia for help but they couldn’t get anyone at the hotel to answer the phone that late at night and I didn’t get anymore communication from them either after 20 hours from my initial contact with Expedia. We ended up driving out of our way to stay over at another motel and don’t book through Expedia or OYO. Just a bad experience. I totally understand I evidently made a 1 day error on my check-in date but give some grace!

The property is very old, but has been refurbished. The room was very clean, although a little musty smelling. Nothing a good air freshener couldn't cure. The sheets had a wonderful just laundered smell and were very crisp and clean. Bed was comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. We never saw a soul during our 1 night stay. The key was in the door when we arrived and we dropped it off in a basket at the desk the next morning where no one was present. Very strange but not inconvenient.

Stayed overnight on a Sunday. Absolutely no services in this town on Sundays. The only food option was gas station pizza across the highway. We had to wait at the check-in area for someone that spoke English to arrive. Rooms were clean and the A/C kind of worked. OK for an overnight stay, but there are better places further along the highway......

The staff was very nice and helpful, they recommended places to eat close by. The room was very clean and more than met our basic needs! One of the staff members was power washing the building and screens on the windows. Very impressed with how well maintained this older motel was! Very close to Walnut Grove and Jeffers Petroglyphs!

It was quite. There was no where to go to see anything very secluded only 1 place to eat and it was a tavern. We were scheduled to stay 2 nights but only stayed 1 and then left. Probably 1 of the worse place to stay stay

Came Here a few times nothing earth shattering just a pleasant place to stay Some may not enjoy the Canada pacific train track a hundred feet away But for me That’s the sound of money at work

We stayed for one night as we were attending the Little House on the Prairie event in Walnut Grove! It was nice to be only 10 minutes away from the event! Motel very clean and everything was in good working condition! Thank you

It was very close to Walnut Grove, which was our destination. The room was clean, and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable.

10/10 would stay again. While it could use updates, the property supplies everything you'd need for a motel stay. Cable TV, microwave, mini fridge, plenty of outlets, great lighting, coffee maker suitable for k cups. Given inflation I definitely feel that the cost to amenity ratio was perfect for what I was looking for. And a shoutout to supplying an array of coffee brands!!! There are also a good amount of places to eat in the area and the owner provides a really detailed binder of this. The grocery store in town is stocked with everything you'd need.

The room was classically old, but very clean. The website indicated hair dryers, but they're not in the rooms. We had to go ask for one at the office, which isn't convenient when your hair is wet! We're used to free breakfast and other amenities, but all in all, if you need a clean and comfortable place to sleep, this is fine!

It was a comfortable place to stay for two nights while on business. It included a nice book of area restaurants and other services. My room shared a door with the room next door, and I could hear every word of their phone call, so not a lot of sound proofing. But starting around 9:30 p.m., everything was really quiet.

At check in he went through the hotel book. He even recommended a place for supper and called ahead to let them know we were coming. The stay was very nice

- perfect place to crash after long day of driving - Great farming town, friendly people - Got my run in and had a delightful time running through the town - Super kind and friendly management - Very comfortable beds - Bathroom and air conditioner housing unit could use some upgrading, visually, but they worked! - It was a steal at $45/night - Dog-friendly, too! - Continental breakfast was just enough to get us on the road (doughnuts, coffee, I hot cider, cold cereal and milk, instant oatmeal)

This motel has slightly dated and austere decor, but it is clean, functional and meets all the needs for someone needing a room for the night on short notice, and the staff was helpful and attentive. I certainly wasn't expecting much more for the affordable price, and it's situated in a spot that is nice and quiet for sleeping well.

HAD ROOM 14 DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK FROM INSIDE. COULDNT UNDERSTAND FRONT OFFICE LQDY SO I JUST DEALT WITH IT ON MY OWN. OTHERWISE A NICE PLACE TO STAY. CLEAN AC WORKED GREAT SHOWER HAD GREAT WATER PRESSURE

Another nice stay in Lamberton. I love the privacy, you can just pull up right to your room door. you don’t have to walk past a front desk or ride elevators up and down to get to your room. I do recommend.

The room was very clean and we appreciated the coffee pot, however, there was only one packet of creamer for the two of us. We both decided that black coffee to start the morning was ok. Having both a refrigerator and a microwave in the room was also appreciated.

I found this to be a nice retro looking property. It appears to be well maintained, everything works, and looks freshly remodeled. The price was fair. The area was quiet. Will be staying there again. Thanks.
