I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful small 12 unit complex with easy access to the beach and restaurants. The comfortable flat was well appointed with a kitchenette, WiFi, and TV. The pool was a great option to the beach, and there were bikes, hammocks, cornhole, and shuffleboard to enjoy. Parking was a breeze. SSC

This is a unique, comfortable, and easy-to-reach property, where a small group can enjoy a pleasant vacation time. My wife and I had a wonderful time, actually surprised by the surroundings and by the actual commodities included in the apartment we rented for 4 days. The beach nearby was excellent and within walking distance. There were chairs and umbrellas available at the property and the swimming pool, small but pleasant. All in all a very nice experience at a manageable price.

Really enjoyed our stay at Fernando flats! The staff was very nice on the arrival day, and the bikes were very convenient for riding to the beach or to get ice cream. Will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I feel incredibly lucky to have come across the listing for Fernando Flats in a prime location on Singer Island. The property was purchased less than a year ago and has been tastefully renovated (inside and out) by Marie who was exceptionally accommodating and went out of her way to provide a best-in-class experience. The rooms are pristinely clean and resemble mini-apartments with a full working kitchen. The fantastic AC in combination with the dehumidifier makes all the difference when inside. Outside and on the grounds, there are so many conveniences that made our stay easy, cost-effective, and delightful including free bikes (which we used multiple times a day), beach gear from chairs to umbrellas (and sunscreen if you're running low), grill by the heated pool (we used both), free parking/room, and more. Thoughtful details can make a trip that much more special, and Fernando Flats raised the bar. Highest of recommendations - we will be back. Thank you again, Marie, for the fabulous stay!

I can't say enough about how great this property is. It is fully equipped with even beach supplies. Plus it has a great pool, bicycles, and yard games. There was even coffee provided in the kitchenette! A all around. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We will definitely be back. Our one bedroom was beautifully decorated, clean but not sterile and spacious for our family of three. I think all of our favorites were the outdoor spaces. The pool is in great condition, clean and open late so you can take a dip at the end of a long day of beach, snorkeling, and exploring. There are several shaded seating areas around the property, yard games, and hammocks. We also took advantage of the beach supply closet every day we were there. You can immediately see the thought and care that the owners put into their property inside and out including the flowerpot in front of our room having a little flag from our home state. The area is very easy to navigate and there is a restaurant and shopping plaza less than a five minute drive away- highly recommend Seaside Bagels. We also really enjoyed John MacArthur State Park and Phil Foster Park for swimming and snorkeling.

This is my second time back this year. Found a place that I will now return to for many more years. What a gem this place is. Reminds me of the hotels I stayed at when traveling with my parents in the 60’s/70’s but completely updated. Love the kidney shaped pool.

The apartment was very clean and neat. It was very well stuffed. Even though we didn't talk to anyone in person, they communicated with us and everything ran perfectly. It is very well located, a couple of minutes from the beach. We would love to go back again. The wonderful reviews we saw helped us decided to go there and they were truthful. Jorge and Monica

Very nice hotel in a quiet area close to the beach. Adorable room with kitchenette, good quality ground coffee in a jar for coffeemaker, large size smart TV. They even provide first aid kit, toothpaste with toothbrushes. We wish to return back soon to stay again. Recommend Fernando Flats Hotel, can rate it like 5 star hotel. They do above and beyond.

We really enjoyed our little studio apartment. It had everything we needed and we were very thankful for the memory foam pad they had up in the closet, because the bed was very hard without it. Really nice place. The only thing missing was an ocean view! Only con was- one of the bikes you could take was put together wrong and was kind of dangerous to ride, because the front wheel was on backwards and your foot would get caught on it when you turned, But I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a budget friendly place to stay by a great beach!

We had a lovely time at Fernando Flats. We rode the provided bikes, walked around the island, spent time on the beach (which was so close) using the shared beach chairs, cooked in the kitchen, and played shuffleboard. But mostly, we enjoyed our time around and in the pool. It was a quiet, wonderful escape. We hope to be back again one day! Our only feedback: adding some hot pads/oven mitts in the kitchen for grabbing things out of the oven. 🙂

Great place for our weekend stay. We stayed in Unit 1, nice ground floor unit. Nice touches available in the room, like a first aid kit, and other hygienic need items. Unit was very clean, and air conditioning was great. Furniture is dated, but I would consider it a vintage style look. Nice short walk to beach. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Spent 8 days and my wife and I were very happy with our choice. The room was clean,bed comfortable. It was a cute, well appointed living space. The location was perfect, close to the beach. Singer Island is a nice, quiet place. A great spot to relax. We highly recommend this place if you are thinking of staying on Singer Island.

I absolutely loved this place. I travel frequently and her attention to detail was incredible. I am a solo female traveler and I felt incredibly safe. It’s a three minute walk to the beach. I used an umbrella and a bike that were available to use. Small, quaint, mid century vibe but updated . Coffee was AWESOME!!!!

The flat is amazing, room is very spacious and has everything you need. The decoration is nice and make you really feel like you are having a "beach style" vacation. I wish I could have stayed more and would definitely recommend it.

My stay at Fernando Flats was delightful. The little apartment felt like home, due to the artsy decor, comfortable bed, and even ground coffee in a kitchen canister. It was also immaculate. Both the owner, Marie, and her employee Carmen are so very friendly, and their attention to detail creates a cozy environment. I will be back!!

We were totally happy with our first stay. The room was bright, spacious and clean. Maria left us complete instructions for everything. I can confirm a mere 4 minute walk to the beach! I had a question a few days before our stay, on a Sunday, I called the number listed and was pleasantly surprised as Maria took the call and answered all my questions. We hope to return soon!

WE WERE THERE DURING THE ABBUTTING PROPERTY BEING DEMOLISHED. LOT'S OF NOISE ALL DAY, BUT SUBSIDED OVER OUR STAY. THE OWNER WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO ALL COMPLAINTS, AND HANDELED THEM WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY!!! MARIE IS AWESOME, AND SO ARE HER STAFF. WILL COME BACK DEFFINITELY!!!

Only got the chance to stay here one night. Great place to stay we loved it. Clean and very well kept. Room had everything you could need with plenty of space. Linens were fantastic, thick soft towels. I called needing a couple of things and they were taken care of immediately ( pillows , blankets, blow up mattress that I didn’t ask for they wanted to make sure my son was comfortable and didn’t need to sleep on the couch ) Great area to walk around, steps to the beach and inlet. Great place! Will be back!

I called needing a couple of things and they were taken care of immediately ( pillows , blankets, blow up mattress that I didn’t ask for they wanted to make sure my son was comfortable and didn’t need to sleep on the couch ) Great area to walk around, steps to the beach and inlet. Great place! Will be back!

My stay was simply amazing! 5 Stars all around. Every detail was in place, even my home state flag was displayed in a planter right outside my unit! The attention to detail in the unit and the amenities was top notch. Great quiet location, yet a short walk to all the entertainment and dining. The beach and inlet is 1 1/2 blocks away with the property offering free beach equipment. They also offer free bikes to use to explore the area. Having a pool on the property, was a great relief from the heat! The owner Marie is very accommodating to all requests. When I come back to Singer Island, I will definitely rebook at Fernando Flats. You get so much for the best price in town!

My stay could have been amazing! But the owners failed to tell me there was demolition going on 25ft from my room! Saturday I was woken up at 8am with loud nose & what felt like a earthquake! It went on the whole stay except on Sunday! This was unacceptable & owner made no effort to alleviate this problem! And made excuses for not telling renters of this problem!

The flats were in a quiet quaint spot amazing condition for a vintage feel old school motel style flat well decorated very clean kept up well. The host Marie was amazing. Made sure you had everything you needed and then some provided things most places don’t even think to provide. Can’t wait to visit again in the future.

Spent 8 days and my wife and I were very happy with our choice. The room was clean,bed comfortable. It was a cute, well appointed living space. The location was perfect, close to the beach. Singer Island is a nice, quiet place. A great spot to relax. We highly recommend this place if you are thinking of staying on Singer Island.

First time on Singer Island. Room was ready early and was given all the check in information via text from the owner. Very reasonable and the location was great. Walk to the beach or the inlet. Chairs and beach accessories are all included. Fully stocked kitchen and very tasteful decorated. Would recommend this to anyone who is staying on the island. It seems that customer service these days are a thing of the past. Not here!

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay! The individualized attention to details in the room were so warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the walk or bike ride to the beach was easy. Absolutely looking forward to a return trip.

The property was very well maintained and had everything we needed in the kitchen, which made our stay very comfortable and convenient.
