Sandy Beach Hotel

This is a relaxed beach hotel with access direct to the sea with very basic accommodation. The staff, particularly Xavier, were fantastic. Friendly, down-to-earth, and helpful. The towels and room were clean and serviced regularly. If you are expecting new, spotless rooms with central air con then stay at the Marriot next door. The water didn't get hot. There were no tea/coffee making facilities but the cafe facing the beach served espresso. This is what I would call 'cheap and cheerful' and I would definitely stay again. And the turquoise ocean waves are to die for.

No Pool

Do not stay here. I booked a single queen room because the price seemed reasonable, but this was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was filthy, so bad that I refused to take my shoes off. The floors looked disgusting, and I found multiple large bugs in the room, which is completely unacceptable at any price point. The entire place feels like it’s falling apart. One of the locks on my door didn’t even work, which is a serious safety issue and honestly alarming. On top of that, it was loud at all hours, so getting any real sleep was nearly impossible. To make things worse, my room didn’t even have a window, which made it feel cramped and uncomfortable. I will say the staff I interacted with were friendly, but that doesn’t make up for the condition of the property. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. it’s close to the beach and the main street. But that is nowhere near enough to justify how poorly maintained and dirty this hotel is. There are far better options in the area. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else.

The AC worked very well. Location was perfect! I would stay here again.
