Our stay was excellent! Very easy check-in and the house was appointed with everything one could need. We enjoyed preparing food in the well-appointed kitchen and sitting outside soaking in the views. Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return!

We loved everything about the house. Spotless, surprisingly very well equipped, some basic supplies at disposal (very convenient when you travel), all you need to go to the beach that you can borrow. The open kitchen is incredibly nice and it is a pleasure to prepare the meals. The master bedroom has a unique view, day and night : you can stare at the stars from the bed… you almost never want to fall asleep, waiting for the daylight.. Master bathroom very big and in excellent condition. All is in perfect conditions, very well maintained, very clean. Dave and Brigitte welcomed us as we were friends… and in 10 days we became friends. We loved their care, constant attention, concern of making our vacation unforgettable. It has been. Highly recommended if you look for a little remote place, a little away from the crowd, to fully appreciate the Maui spirit.

The best overall rental property we've stayed at while on vacation. Cottage is completely separate from the hosts' home on site, with landscaping almost completely blocking the view between the cottage and the home. Beautiful tropical surroundings. Distant view of the ocean. Sunrise colors can be seen from the master bed. Sunset can be seen (somewhat) through the treeline to the west while on the master patio. Quiet, serene, private, and off the grid. Outdoor shower was a big plus. Cottage is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and well-equipped (and then some). Very close to Road to Hana; restaurants in Paia or upcountry are within a convenient 10-15 minute drive. Gives the feel of what it's like to live on Maui; a great base for exploring what Maui has to offer. Gracious and communicative hosts. We enjoyed the bananas they hand-picked for us, and some other goodies they provided. Only negative is that the cottage does not have air conditioning, as many homes in this part of Maui do not. The first night we got there, the cottage was unpleasantly hot, but after letting in the cool morning air the next day - and leaving the windows perpetually open for the rest of the week - it became tolerable, albeit still too warm for our tastes. (They do have ceiling fans and an extra table fan that were very helpful. Outdoor temps were in the mid 80's while we were there.)

This property was much more enjoyable than expected. It was so peaceful listening to the birds chirping in the morning while having a coffee and enjoying the view and just an overall relaxing environment. I wish I could have stayed many more days. All amenities and more. I felt like I was staying at a 5 star resort. The hosts are great! I cannot wait to come and visit again!

The house was beautiful, immaculate, and very well organized. The owners are incredibly kind, and we enjoyed meeting them both. Cookware and daily use items were all of high-quality, in good condition and well stocked. The home was exactly what we were looking for, and true to the photos.

This is a beautiful house, the property and the view are fantastic. The hosts were extremely nice, helpful, and considerate. The property is very well-appointed, especially in the kitchen. The location is convenient to shopping, including grocery, within a 10-15 minute drive. It is also a few blocks to the Hana Highway. Our stay couldn't have been any better!

North Shore Ocean View was the perfect getaway. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The home was very clean and well stocked with anything you may need or or have forgotten, including first aid supplies, sunscreen and beach gear. Brigitte & Dave were very friendly and welcoming. They were available to answer any questions and give recommendations on local attractions and food. When we were at the house, we spent a lot of time on the two lanais that overlooked the ocean and scenic backyard. We will definitely stay again if we have the chance and recommend to friends!

This is our third visit to this lovely cottage. If you want serenity and comfort while enjoying the North shore you can’t beat this beautiful place. The hosts are lovely and the cottage is wonderfully equipped with everything you need for a great stay.

My husband and I stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and loved this cottage as our home base. The upcountry area reminded us of home (Durango, CO). It was very quite and felt very safe. The home was very clean and cozy, it was great place to recharge after a day of exploring the island. Easy access to all the cute country towns (Haiku, Paia and Makawoa) and right off the road to Hana! We never had a chance to meet the hosts to live on the property but they were very kind and offered so many adventure and restaurant recommendations. If you are looking to stay here be mindful that there isn’t much for cell service up there, which we didn’t mind and enjoyed time to unplug. There is great WiFi but making calls out weren’t an option. There is a landline though so if you do need to make a call you can. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next Maui vacation. Thank you Brigitte & Dave for sharing your beautiful home and property.

The owners of this beautiful cottage take great pride and lengths to make your stay comfortable. The views are amazing, the cleanliness is a 10+, and has all the amenities one could need. The welcoming basket of fresh fruit, nuts, and coffee is over the top! I can’t wait to return.

We love this property! Our standards are high when it comes to cleanliness and updated finishes/fixtures and linens. It’s quiet and private. Brigitte and Dave are great and were extremely welcoming and helpful with questions or recommendations for our Maui stay. Many properties just don’t match what this cottage has to offer. Quality is top notch in our view. Second visit and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Dave and Brigitte!!

I search and search then search some more when renting homes for vacation. Of all of them, this one has been the best! Modern, upscale, clean, great view, quiet, wonderful shampoos, soaps & body wash. Comfortable bed and best of all, the nicest hosts you could ever wish for. There needs to be something higher than 5 stars for exceptional properties like this one. Thank you

Super clean, thoughtful touches. Quiet and private, great view. Only would have liked a living room sofa, there were only two small rattan chairs so no useful living room. But other than that a lovely stay. Nice bed and bedding.

Brigitte and Dave’s home is idyllic! Spotless, spacious, gorgeous views and a great point from which to embark on the Road to Hana and Haleakala. It’s in a quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle and a short drive to Paia. The outside shower was a treat! We would highly recommend staying here - we loved it!!

We had an amazing time in Maui and this property was everything we could have hoped for. The beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, comfortable master bed and beach equipment exceeded expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone who wants to be away from the crowds.

Our stay was excellent! Very easy check-in and the house was appointed with everything one could need. We enjoyed preparing food in the well-appointed kitchen and sitting outside soaking in the views. Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return!

We love this property! Our standards are high when it comes to cleanliness and updated finishes/fixtures and linens. It’s quiet and private. Brigitte and Dave are great and were extremely welcoming and helpful with questions or recommendations for our Maui stay. Many properties just don’t match what this cottage has to offer. Quality is top notch in our view. Second visit and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Dave and Brigitte!!

Loved the stay here. Was for our honeymoon and was great. The hosts were fantastic and helped with suggestions for places to go on the island, timing of reservations, etc. Could not have asked for a better place to stay and the views were AMAZING!!!

The house was beautiful, immaculate, and very well organized. The owners are incredibly kind, and we enjoyed meeting them both. Cookware and daily use items were all of high-quality, in good condition and well stocked. The home was exactly what we were looking for, and true to the photos.

This is a beautiful house, the property and the view are fantastic. The hosts were extremely nice, helpful, and considerate. The property is very well-appointed, especially in the kitchen. The location is convenient to shopping, including grocery, within a 10-15 minute drive. It is also a few blocks to the Hana Highway. Our stay couldn't have been any better!

Brigitte and Dave had the place ready for us when we arrived and it had everything we needed for our stay and then some. We appreciated the local coffee, fruit and other snacks that were left out for us as welcome gifts. Our two young daughters had a great time playing in the yard while we readied each day for our adventures to Haleakala and the Hana Highway, which this location is perfect as a base station for both destinations. Dave stopped by and gave us some tips for our Hana Highway adventure. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

North Shore Ocean View was the perfect getaway. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The home was very clean and well stocked with anything you may need or or have forgotten, including first aid supplies, sunscreen and beach gear. Brigitte & Dave were very friendly and welcoming. They were available to answer any questions and give recommendations on local attractions and food. My husband and I stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and loved this cottage as our home base. The upcountry area reminded us of home (Durango, CO). It was very quite and felt very safe. The home was very clean and cozy, it was great place to recharge after a day of exploring the island. Easy access to all the cute country towns (Haiku, Paia and Makawoa) and right off the road to Hana! We never had a chance to meet the hosts to live on the property but they were very kind and offered so many adventure and restaurant recommendations. If you are looking to stay here be mindful that there isn’t much for cell service up there, which we didn’t mind and enjoyed time to unplug. There is great WiFi but making calls out weren’t an option. There is a landline though so if you do need to make a call you can. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next Maui vacation. Thank you Brigitte & Dave for sharing your beautiful home and property.

What a wonderful stay we had here! It was perfect for us. So clean and organized. Brigette and Dave had everything we could need. The spot is so pretty and serene. The views from every window were so beautiful. You just lay in bed and are so relaxed and at peace. Super close to an awesome store/cafe (Jaws). We couldn’t have picked a better spot! Mahalo for the memories!!! P.S Do not fret about no a/c!! We came here n June and it was great. The bed wS also soooo comfortable!! This is a YES, Do it!!

Brigitte and Dave’s home is idyllic! Spotless, spacious, gorgeous views and a great point from which to embark on the Road to Hana and Haleakala. It’s in a quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle and a short drive to Paia. The outside shower was a treat! We would highly recommend staying here - we loved it!!

The best overall rental property we've stayed at while on vacation. Cottage is completely separate from the hosts' home on site, with landscaping almost completely blocking the view between the cottage and the home. Beautiful tropical surroundings. Distant view of the ocean. Sunrise colors can be seen from the master bed. Sunset can be seen (somewhat) through the treeline to the west while on the master patio. Quiet, serene, private, and off the grid. Outdoor shower was a big plus. Cottage is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and well-equipped (and then some). Very close to Road to Hana; restaurants in Paia or upcountry are within a convenient 10-15 minute drive. Gives the feel of what it's like to live on Maui; a great base for exploring what Maui has to offer. Gracious and communicative hosts. We enjoyed the bananas they hand-picked for us, and some other goodies they provided. Only negative is that the cottage does not have air conditioning, as many homes in this part of Maui do not. The first night we got there, the cottage was unpleasantly hot, but after letting in the cool morning air the next day - and leaving the windows perpetually open for the rest of the week - it became tolerable, albeit still too warm for our tastes. (They do have ceiling fans and an extra table fan that were very helpful. Outdoor temps were in the mid 80's while we were there.)

A very professionally managed property. This is NOT someone just renting out their place to make some extra $$. Everything is top notch and high quality and extremely clean. Owners are very friendly and communicative. We absolutely loved staying here because of the privacy and sense of seclusion. Pretty much centrally located to anywhere you want to go on the island. Highly recommended

We loved everything about the house. Spotless, surprisingly very well equipped, some basic supplies at disposal (very convenient when you travel), all you need to go to the beach that you can borrow. The open kitchen is incredibly nice and it is a pleasure to prepare the meals. The master bedroom has a unique view, day and night : you can stare at the stars from the bed… you almost never want to fall asleep, waiting for the daylight.. Master bathroom very big and in excellent condition. All is in perfect conditions, very well maintained, very clean. Dave and Brigitte welcomed us as we were friends… and in 10 days we became friends. We loved their care, constant attention, concern of making our vacation unforgettable. It has been. Highly recommended if you look for a little remote place, a little away from the crowd, to fully appreciate the Maui spirit.

We enjoyed Brigitte & Dave’s place for my inter-island birthday celebration. The home was very clean and well appointed, with one of my favorite amenities- an outdoor shower! Enjoyed our afternoons and evenings listening to the breeze through the palm trees with the distant ocean view. Bonus- Brigitte and Dave brought over a sweet treat complete with candle for my birthday.

North Shore Ocean View was the perfect getaway. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The home was very clean and well stocked with anything you may need or or have forgotten, including first aid supplies, sunscreen and beach gear. Brigitte & Dave were very friendly and welcoming. They were available to answer any questions and give recommendations on local attractions and food. When we were at the house, we spent a lot of time on the two lanais that overlooked the ocean and scenic backyard. We will definitely stay again if we have the chance and recommend to friends!

The location of this house is perfect for driving the Road to Hana, visiting Paia and upcountry. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. The outdoor shower was perfect after a day at the beach. The kitchen had all of the items we need to cook meals. The full size washer and dryer came in handy. Brigitte and Dave were very responsive and great to work with. We can’t wait to stay again.

What a beautiful property in a fantastic location between Pai'a and start of Road to Hana. This house has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay, from filtered water, upgraded bath products, washer/dryer with clothing racks, extended lanai overlooking peaceful grounds and ocean, make-up mirror, laundry baskets, multiple tvs, plentiful ice and cooler to borrow, and more. Hosts are super friendly and responsive and live next door. The master shower was AMAZING! The house stays relatively cool at night with fans and windows open, but does get hot in the afternoons, so not having air conditioning was the only downside. Highly recommend Flatbread Company, Baked on Maui, and Pai'a Fish Market for meals as well as Jaws for quick lite breakfast (amazing avocado toast). We enjoyed our stay!

Brigette and Dave are excellent hosts with a beautifully designed nature escape. We received warm, welcome messages before arriving, providing confidence in the check-in process and a warm Aloha for our first visit to the island. We enjoyed both their restaurant recommendations and well-appointed, spacious kitchen. Location was easily accessible and accommodating, even after other roads flooded.

Second stay at this lovely property. Clean, mostly quiet (some loud guests checked in to a property next door and were pretty loud-NOT our hosts fault!). Gorgeous views! Brigitte and Dave were fantastic- very accommodating and friendly. The house is very well appointed, and the kitchen was a dream to cook in. We will definitely be back!
