I have stayed at this location several times when visiting the Northwoods. It is very convenient for some of my hunting and fishing locations and the condition of the hotel is very consistent. The owners continually make improvements and overall it’s a fairly good value.

Parking area was okay, but entrance to the building had broken threshold making it difficult to step with confidence and the security door would not close properly without shoving or pulling it hard. Room was in rough condition and toilet was so low, it was dangerous for average adult. Breakfast was lacking in variety. The hotel charged me more than quoted on Expedia

We had a mid-week stay and all went as planned. There was a floor tiling project happening in the lobby so we had to use a back entrance which was not a problem. The hotel and our room was clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities in the room. I would stay again. The only downside is that there are very few restaurants open for dinner midweek in town. No fault of the hotel.

I liked the renovations they made to the hotel since our last visit. Water pressure was great, room clean, bathroom clean. Parking excellent, I asked for a first floor room and that was honored when we got there. We just wanted some waffles or eggs, a hot breakfast in the morning.

The property is a little outdated but still very well maintained. Beds are newer and room is kept for the age of the building. Personally i find their to be to much funiture no need for armoire, dresser and desk cramping the space. One piece would do most. TV was a little small for some but was fine for me. Had microwave and small fridge for all our needs. Basic continental breakfast with coffee, juice, breads, yogurt and fruit. Very kind family owns and runs the facility and are very accommodating to our needs. Would definitely stay again.
