What a beautiful lodge and area We stayed here with my dad and stepmom and my husband and 2 children We used the restaurant on the first night and it was lovely accommodating to our preferences The lodge had everything we wanted if we could of said that the icing on the cake would be to off had a hot tub but didn’t matterBeautiful place and people Definitely will be returning in the near future Thank you

Had another weekend with my Family at Stewart’s Lodges. As usual the staff were fantastic. Try the Restaurant on site, meals are very good.

From meeting the staff at reception to leaving the lodge the service and attention was first class, the staff are on hand should you require anything which we did not. Reception very helpful lodge was clean and to a high standard Facility’s first class, wee cafe was brill and staff very nice again. If you’re thinking of a break give this place a go, you shall not be disappointed, nothing is a problem to any member of staff should you require anything. James and JANIS

Site is still under construction but will be lovely when finished. The lodge was just perfect, had everything you would need, only one criticism would be there should be blackout blinds in the bedrooms or even blackout curtain linings as in summer it is very light in the mornings. The path to the reservoir was still being made and was a bit muddy, when you get to the reservoir gate there was no path really you had to fight your way through nettles and long grass but I am sure that is not Stewarts Resort’s problem, if the reservoir was more accessible then that would have been so much better, I only walked it once because of the accessibility. The main shower could have had a grab bar as my husband is disabled, we brought a folding stool for the shower with us or he would not have managed. The enclosed decking area is great and the furniture on the deck was really comfortable, We would go back to this lodge in the future a credit to its owners.
