This is a cool spot in stinson beach. Rooms are clean and well stocked. it was easy to check in online and get access codes. great for families with kids since it is walking distance to the beach and playground. Parking is very limited but that seems to be a problem for the town.

The Surf Lodge is amazing and Kelly was the best! We spent 4th of July week here and could have stayed another week... They have a beautiful rooms, a fire pit with cozy blankets, an outdoor shower, beach chairs, in room Nespresso, beach chairs and towels... Everything is well appointed, gorgeous, and we enjoyed a next level us s'mores kit on our last night. In addition, we had a glitch with our Hotels.com booking that was really not the Surf Lodge's problem, but Kelly took it on anyway and resolved the problem for us. Customer service is really important to us, and the Surf Lodge was on point...We will definitely be back!!!

The rooms in the lodge were exceptional - very clean, well decorated, and the most comfortable beds. We were given everything we needed, and even provided beach chairs, towels and plastic wine glasses to watch the sunset on the beach. The lodge is right on the main street so it was super convenient to walk to the restaurants, shopping, hiking trails and the beach. Highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to the area! We will definitely be back.

Cute little rooms that were cozy and accommodating. They text you your code for the front gate and also your room which makes the check in process seamless and also provides an extra level of security. Kelly at the front desk was so nice and very helpful. Would recommend Stinson Beach for a quaint little getaway and Surf Lodge is a great spot to call your home base.

Everything was amazing! Kelly at the front desk was so welcoming and accommodating! The room was gorgeous and spotless, and the property is just so cute! Parking kinda sucks BUT it’s a given in such a small area, and it’s free with the room which is uncommon in Bay Area hotels. I only mention it not as complaining, more just advising people to be prepared and drive a smaller car if possible. We will absolutely be back!

We love this property. My son attrnds a surf camp at Stinson and it's perfect for the two of us. Xlose access to everything we need. We feel safe and secure with the large gate that closes every night.

The property was very nice , so clean and the bed was so comfy. We really enjoyed the design and the look of the property. The proximity to the beach was perfect and parking was great. The front office personnel was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Surf Lodge and hope to go back again soon !

The place is cute and clean, but the experience wasn’t great. First, we booked this location in part because it offered parking, but as soon as I had booked the room I got a message that our particular room did not include parking, which was hard to find. When we arrived, we could hear every single thing in the room next to ours. We could literally hear them peeing. Between our neighbors and hearing the front gate every time it closed, I really didn’t sleep. Also, we traveled on a very hot weekend and there was no AC. Our room stayed about 80 degrees through the night. Lastly, you can tell the place is small in the photos but it was much smaller in person. We hit our shins on the bed frame more than once and I accidentally spit on the floor when brushing my teeth because I missed the six-inch sink. All-in-all, it was very cute and clean, but we won’t be back.

I have stayed at Surf Lodge several times. Always amazing! The bed is THE BEST! I usually travel alone and reserve the Economy queen which is perfect for one or two people. The lodge is located on the main road, right next to shops and Breakers café (best ceviche around!), and just a short walk to the most majestic beach I've ever experienced! Stinson Surf Lodge is well worth the stay!

Kelly at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating as soon as we drove up to the property. I had planned a mother daughter weekend and Kelly made it extra special. We were able to get a free upgrade which worked out so well because my 14 year likes to sprawl out and leave her stuff everywhere. If I needed anything, I was able to text Kelly for help and she always responded promptly. Side note: I had a little trouble with the key code to our room. (User error, nothing to do with facility) The property offered a feeling of privacy, security and relaxation all at once. I will be coming back. This place was amazing. It’s been a long time since I've been this impressed with the level of service and care. Thanks Surf lodge for making my mother daughter trip so memorable.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Surf Lodge. It’s super charming and stylish! It’s really close to the beach and you can walk to everything. The bed was so comfortable! I had the best nights’sleep I’ve had in ages. I work with the public so needed a solo beach vacation where I got to not talk, sleep and eat when I wanted to, and enjoy meals out. It’s a short drive to a ton of beautiful places and the hiking nearby on Tam is great, with stunning views and fresh air. I will recommend this place to all my clients who need a sweet relaxing getaway and who demand both all the comforts and super stylish design in their vacation hotels.

Super easy check-in, staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and super cute. We had everything we need and it's a great location one minute from the beach!

The rooms in the lodge were exceptional - very clean, well decorated, and the most comfortable beds. We were given everything we needed, and even provided beach chairs, towels and plastic wine glasses to watch the sunset on the beach. The lodge is right on the main street so it was super convenient to walk to the restaurants, shopping, hiking trails and the beach. Highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to the area! We will definitely be back.

I have stayed at Surf Lodge several times. Always amazing! The bed is THE BEST! I usually travel alone and reserve the Economy queen which is perfect for one or two people. The lodge is located on the main road, right next to shops and Breakers café (best ceviche around!), and just a short walk to the most majestic beach I've ever experienced! Stinson Surf Lodge is well worth the stay!

Cute, clean and conveniently located a few blocks from the beach, we had a lovely stay the Surf Lodge. Bed was very comfortable.

Had no WiFi the entire time. When I notified them they sent the password that I already knew and didn’t work. I texted back that the password was not working and didn’t hear from them again. When I checked out the next day I mentioned this and the staff member only said, oh you’re the only one whose password didn’t work. Nothing else was said.

Cute, clean, and great location. Especially great for Marinites to take advantage of - to enjoy an easy getaway from the day to day grind and be grateful for the beauty of our own backyard.
