At some point, a business need to reinvest in their products and properties. This hotel is a mess and smells like a jr high boys locker room. Carpets are nasty and the elevator is a train wreck. Holiday Inn Express can do better.

Not wheelchair friendly. Parking lot was unplowed, no signs to indicate any hcp parking spots and front desk didn't know where they were. I parked in a snow covered area, wheelchair got stuck several times getting to entrance. Live bug in bathroom. No facial tissue available so they gave us a roll of tp. Towels were big but not at all soft. Bedding was clean, mattress comfortably soft, spacious room. Good breakfast selection but most unevenly cooked bacon I have ever seen, with sections barely cooked, crisp, and almost overcooked on the same strip.

Showed up to hotel and the person checking us in couldnt check us in because there was something wrong with the expedia booking. Sat around there for an hour until finally she gave us the rooms. Wanted to use the pool but the girl at the front desk couldnt find her key to let us in. Wasted more time trying to figure that out. Was a poor experience

It's rough around the edges. Has a musty smell. Had to switch rooms because the first room has a filthy bathroom and the lights in the room were only partially working. I will try another hotel next trip to my hometown. It was an ok stay.

Overall, stay was very pleasant. The only issue that I had was that whoever was above me literally stayed up until 2 o’clock in the morning, jumping on the floor or wrestling around I believe they had children and it was hard for me to go to sleep other than that, it was great.

Yes, I would stay here again. Clean and convenient. It was around 10:00 pm when we arrived, nothing going on. Young lady at the desk wearing a hoodie and jeans. It took 30” to finally get our room. She did not know how to receive the payment from a third party, I finally had to tell her to call her manager once she did that she figured it out with some instruction. She was new and hopefully she will appear more professional with her next guests. We were very tired and standing around waiting for her to figure it out was frustrating. The rooms were nice and it was very quiet.

Checking in was a joke. The guy could not talk english that me or my wife could understand. Had to put a $300 hold on room keys until check out. Next morning checking out, all there was a box to drop room keys in for someone else to come behind you and steal so you are charged for the room keys. So I waited. No one at the desk. Waited 15 minutes. Resident cook had to find someone. Pretty poorly run joint.Bad area of town. Hard to get back out to interstate. Rooms stunk

Stayed 9 nights. Not one time did house cleaning ever touch our room. After multiple request to house keeping and the front desk, from three of us it still did not work. We had to get our towels and washcloths every night from the front desk. Had to ask for toilet paper and body wash three nights in. Tracked housekeeping down to take our trash and put new bags in. Spoke with housekeeping mid stay to request new sheets for one of the beds, since I had workers changing out. Told her I would even make the bed if we could get the sheets. She told me if we were out of the room the next morning by 8:30 she would change them. We left at 8 and arrived back by 2:30. Nothing was done. I ended up renting a room at the Hampton Inn for the last weekend there and the service was excellent. With my job, I stay at several hotels throughout a 6 month period, not to mention leisurely travel. This is the first review I have ever left, and the only time I've ever told the front desk that the service was worse than pathetic.

I parked in a snow covered area, wheelchair got stuck several times getting to entrance. Live bug in bathroom. No facial tissue available so they gave us a roll of tp. Towels were big but not at all soft. Bedding was clean, mattress comfortably soft, spacious room. Good breakfast selection but most unevenly cooked bacon I have ever seen, with sections barely cooked, crisp, and almost overcooked on the same strip.

The breakfast was offered untill 9:30 came down for breakfast at 9:00am no fresh fruit , no bagles out no bread out for toast omelets and biscuit gravy was not at all appealing flies and gnats flying in breakfast area landing on plates and silverware. Also were landing on cereal dispenser. .

Breakfast was good. They were out of a couple of things - pancake batter and cranberry juice. The pool was not open the last two days of our stay. Staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable.

Ther front desk associate working the afternoon of 8/27/26 was the exact opposite of what I would expect from this hotel chain. There was a problem with the reservation thst had been made days prior. This employee immediately dug her heels in and refused to help with the situation. A small amount of kindness goes a long way, and she had zero to offer. We eventually lost our money from the RESERVED room and then had to travel down the road to fund a different place to stay. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise, as the next hotel, a Hampton, had much better reviews and it was a wonderful stay. I would not advise anyone to stay at the Holday Inn. There are not many options in the area, and now we know this is a very poor choice.
