We spent 4 days visiting wineries along the east side of Cayuga Lake and west side of Seneca Lake. This was a great location for us. Easy wine storage off the patio for all our purchases (just a few steps up!), relaxing living space, walkable area to get to coffee and restaurants, and in a safe location. The home was well stocked and comfortable. Great host! I had a chance to meet her and chat a few minutes. We will consider booking this property again for future wine tripping weekends!
We spent 4 days visiting wineries along the east side of Cayuga Lake and west side of Seneca Lake. This was a great location for us. Easy wine storage off the patio for all our purchases (just a few steps up!), relaxing living space, walkable area to get to coffee and restaurants, and in a safe location. My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights as we had a friends wedding to attend. The house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to hang up our clothes and right on the water for a nice view. Parking was very nice and backing out onto the street was never an issue. Close to town and easily walkable to everything around. This would be a great stay for those interested in exploring the finger lakes as we did some hiking in the morning before the wedding and before leaving.

Absolutely loved staying here! Irene was incredibly communicative, the place was super clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic. Next time we come visit this area again, we'll definitely be checking to see if this place is available again.

Property manager contacted us once we arrived to ensure we were comfortable and whether we needed any assistance. If given the need, we would stay in 3's A Charm again -

This property was perfect for our five day stay in the Finger Lakes region. We were able to easily drive to wineries and restaurants on both Lake Cayuga and Lake Seneca. The unit was very clean and well-maintained. It was so well-appointed with everything we needed. Irene is extremely easy to contact and very helpful and accommodating.

The Carriage House is a favorite of ours to stay in, we've been here many times! The location downtown and near the canal is great for walks and shopping. And, many other attractions are so close by. Super clean and comfortable!

Loved the charm of the place. The beams, the hay door, the neighborhood. Clean and very well appointed in the kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The historically accurate sized wooden staircase, created a bit of a challenge for me with my wife's modern large suitcase filled to its max. We greatly enjoyed our stay

I wanted for nothing. It is a GREAT location with a 2-minute walk to town. Beautiful nature across a very quiet street...the canal, greenery, and a fantastic stone church. Washer/dryer were such a boon because I am traveling and on the road for a while. I found everything I needed in the full kitchen and bathroom...plus, it's unique. It's a carriage house!! The stairs are steep - yes - but if you are mobile and used to taking stairs, they are not a problem at all (plus, they smell like old wood, which is wonderful). I was here during a very intense heat wave. The owner left the AC on for my arrival, so when I arrived after a long day, it was a great relief to have the house nice and cooled down. Definitely get to Seneca Falls and get ensconced in the women's movement...Amelia Bloomer, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott...you will love it!! And when you visit, stay here!!

We loved the location and the place. We loved all the space in the kitchen. Quite neighborhood. There was a steepish set of stairs that went up to the apartment. We had no problem with them but they could be difficult for some. Lots of towels, toilet paper, etc for use. We would totally rent this spot again.

This was our first trip to the Finger Lakes area and Seneca Falls was the first stop on our journey. Much as we liked the overall area, there isn't that much to do in Seneca Falls per se, but it is a good jumping off point for Seneca and Cayuga lakes. That said, "3s a Charm" provided comfortable digs for the 3 nights we stayed. The location is great...walkable to Cafe XIX (great coffee and breakfast), as well as the Women's Rights National Historical Park. Communication with Irene was terrific, and check-in was also very straightforward. The kitchen is well-provisioned, as is the rest of the apartment and having a washer/dryer was truly appreciated. There is a steep and narrow flight of stairs to reach the apartment. We did hear early morning traffic (mostly large trucks) during the work week. We found the bedroom to be a bit dark, but it is more spacious than it appears to be in the photos. The bathroom has everything you need and the shower has great water pressure, with plenty of hot water. If you have chemical sensitivities, you may not like the strong smell of Febreze in the downstairs entry way, but it doesn't persist into the apartment.

Perfect central location to lakes waterfalls, and glass. Cute,quirky and cozy.Bed was comfortable.We stayed 6 nights and had a nice relaxing getaway for two.So nice to have a home away from home. I would definitely recommend it.

Nice place, but it’s a second floor walk up. That wasn’t clearly spelled out in the description or photos. The stairway is treacherous. Steep, winding, stairs with sub standard handrails. Wobbling support posts. For god’s sake, improve the rails. Consider rails on both sides.

We enjoyed our stay at the Carraige House. Irene was so pleasant and caring about our comfort. The rooms were well stocked with everything we might need and then some. The bed was comfortable and the stairs although old were manageable for my husband and I and we are in our early 70's. We would definitely stay again when in the area. Thank you Irene!

We enjoyed our stay but left two chargers behind. The host is trying to send them to us but doesn't know our address. Could you help us. She called us, since VRBO wouldn’t let us call her. She kindly sent us the chargers. The host turned out to be splendid.

Flew in to Rochester and had a leisurely drive to Seneca Falls were we stayed at the Carriage House for 2 nights. Great location for us to attend a family wedding in Geneva at a venue on the lake. Beautiful fall weekend and convenient location for us to stay at, Host was fantastic and even provided a steamer unit for our wedding apparel. Kitchen was stocked with all kinds of supplies.

We loved the location and the place. We loved all the space in the kitchen. Quite neighborhood. There was a steepish set of stairs that went up to the apartment. We had no problem with them but they could be difficult for some. Lots of towels, toilet paper, etc for use. We would totally rent this spot again.

We love the location, only one block from the main street of Seneca Falls and one block from the river.The property itself is very good in all respects, if a bit quirky in minor ways. The owners know that the toilet needs to be updated, even though it performs ok. There is no dishwasher, but doing dishes by hand for only two people is not a hardship at all.

The Carriage House is a favorite of ours to stay in, we've been here many times! The location downtown and near the canal is great for walks and shopping. And, many other attractions are so close by. Super clean and comfortable!

We spent 4 days visiting wineries along the east side of Cayuga Lake and west side of Seneca Lake. This was a great location for us. Easy wine storage off the patio for all our purchases (just a few steps up!), relaxing living space, walkable area to get to coffee and restaurants, and in a safe location. The home was well stocked and comfortable. Great host! I had a chance to meet her and chat a few minutes. We will consider booking this property again for future wine tripping weekends!

We came to the area for a wedding on Lake Cayuga but nerded out before the wedding at the Women’s Rights National Historic Park. Like the Freedom Trail in Boston, there are multiple sites in the area to visit and hear National Park Ringer talks and to see exhibits about the 1848 convention that catapulted the Women’s Rights movement. The apartment was in a perfect location to walk to the Elizabeth Cady Stanton home, the Wesleyan Chapel, and the Visitors’ Center.

We have stayed here twice before, and it is definitely our "go to" in the area of Seneca Falls. The hosts are great and immediately address any issues. Unfortunately, we encountered a serious problem on this third stay that was beyond the control of the hosts: the city had shut off the water when we arrived due to a break in a water main. The city notified everyone that we would have to boil all water for several days, and the water could be contaminated for washing dishes or taking showers.The hosts graciously agreed to refund our payment as we headed to a nearby hotel. We plan to return next year because the price, location, and amenities are perfect for our visits.

We've stay in many VRBO homes. This was one of our favorites. Extremely clean. Kitchen and bath fully stocked with all necessities. Easy walk to restaurants. Look forward to a second stay.
