We had a wonderful 1 night stay at the Fenomen Hotel after visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park. The service was superb and the property is breathtaking. Our children loved the trampoline and the breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to return one day.

We absolutely adored our stay at Fenomen Plitvice Resort. The location is outstanding with the most picturesque overlook of the park 500 meters from the property. Additionally, we were able to walk from the resort to the P3 entrance to the park. The hotel had a wonderful free breakfast and allowed you to reserve a private 40 min spa session which was outstanding after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed two dinners at the restaurant and had a lovely experience (with delicious Croatian wine) both times. Highly recommend this resort!

Proper 5 star resort. Felt very luxorious in the middle of the woods. It was a quick 15 minutes ride to entrance one. The spa was awesome too after so much walking. We dined in the restaurant and did not love it. It was expensive for mediocre food a d pretty small portions. Next time we would be very happy to stay there again but would go off property for dinner. Also receptionistwas extremely knowledgeable and kind. Thank you for your help

The property is beautiful and the rooms are larger than normal. It is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. It is situated just above the big falls and you can walk to the top observation point in about five minutes. It was super quiet and peaceful during our stay. We highly recommend Fenomen Plitvice!

We spend two nights at a room for a couple. The breakfast was excellent, the staff attentive and polite, the room was clean and well maintained. Plitvice national park is a short walk away so we could enjoy the nature without having to start the car during our stay. We are looking forward to our next visit when we need a break in the nature.

Amazing location and excellent staff who provided advice for visiting the National Park. Paid additional for two children, but there were no sheets for the sofa bed. Description states 24/7 front desk but we were unable to reach them on the phone, nor was anyone in the reception office when we went there. Restaurant was mid.

This was a unique property in the "woods." Beautiful "campus." We were impressed by its cleanliness and service. I would definitely stay there again. However, be mindful of the season of your travel. We went in mid-Oct and it was cold (we're Californians) but were unable to use the heater since the cold season hadn't started.

We enjoyed a lot our Weekend there, super close to the national park you can go by walking. The service at the restaurant is really nice, the quality is excellent and with fair prices. The room is perfect, you have everything to rest and be calm.

This resort was beautiful. We loved our two bedroom accommodations with kitchen. The staff is wonderful, the grounds are special and the restaurant food is delicious. The entry to the park via gate 3 is convenient but I wouldn’t want to use it the first day in the park. Entry one is great! Do not hesitate to book this hotel

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel during our visit to Plitvice National Park. The location is a 15 min drive for accessing the park, which made our trip easier. Phenomenal by name, and phenomenal in reality. An oasis of luxury in the national park. Wonderful attention to detail, with a wonderful team. Accommodation was faultless, and the restaurant was amazing. High quality local cusine, prepared and presented beautifully.

Amazing location and excellent staff who provided advice for visiting the National Park. Paid additional for two children, but there were no sheets for the sofa bed. Description states 24/7 front desk but we were unable to reach them on the phone, nor was anyone in the reception office when we went there. Restaurant was mid.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel during our visit to Plitvice National Park. The location is a 15 min drive for accessing the park, which made our trip easier. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite that was both spacious and well-equipped, including a full kitchenette, which added a lot of comfort to our stay. The room was quiet, making it easy to relax and the staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even more pleasant. We had entrance tickets for 7am (before breakfast started), so they made us lunch boxes—they were tasty and convenient. Parking was easy and stress-free. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Loved the property as beautiful secluded area, all new units as of 2018, and best thing is that you can take a short walk into the P3 zone and walk thru the entire park from a rarely used access point.Highly recommend!

The property is beautiful and the rooms are larger than normal. It is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. It is situated just above the big falls and you can walk to the top observation point in about five minutes. It was super quiet and peaceful during our stay. We highly recommend Fenomen Plitvice!

We absolutely adored our stay at Fenomen Plitvice Resort. The location is outstanding with the most picturesque overlook of the park 500 meters from the property. Additionally, we were able to walk from the resort to the P3 entrance to the park. The hotel had a wonderful free breakfast and allowed you to reserve a private 40 min spa session which was outstanding after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed two dinners at the restaurant and had a lovely experience (with delicious Croatian wine) both times. Highly recommend this resort!

Very comfortable bed and nice shower. Quiet property. Dinner and breakfast were ok. 15 minute drive from entrance 1 to the park. A bit hard to find….don’t recommend arriving in the dark.

Great location behind the big waterfall, where you could see it from the top with a 5 min walk. It is perfect by a car to go to the hotel or you will need a taxi to the hotel from the entrances or major bus stations in the area (around 30 euros as of April 2025). The property was exceptional with beautiful decorations and quality furniture, and was extremely comfortable in the beautiful nature. You can walk to enter the park through a location near the upper lake port. If you take this option, I think you might better to buy a ticket on line in advance as you will need a ticket to ride on a boat to go to lower lake. Of course you can go to entrance 1 by your car or a taxi. The staffs were very helpful giving advices on my plan in the park.

Excellent property. We loved our stay there. So beautifully done in an excellent location. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Only one restaurant that serves great breakfast but lunch/dinner are average and overpriced.

Fine quality hotel right on the edge of the Plitvice national park. Beautifully situated, nice layout, very friendly staff. Restaurant could probably improve a bit, e.g. breakfast options were a bit limited. Over all, we would go again.

Phenomenal by name, and phenomenal in reality. An oasis of luxury in the national park. Wonderful attention to detail, with a wonderful team. Accommodation was faultless, and the restaurant was amazing. High quality local cusine, prepared and presented beautifully.

I was leaving at 7:30am, and at 7:18am I asked the restaurant to allow me to pick up some food to go, but they were not friendly as they said breakfast was not ready until 7:30, though fruits and bakery and nuts were ready.

Proper 5 star resort. Felt very luxorious in the middle of the woods. It was a quick 15 minutes ride to entrance one. The spa was awesome too after so much walking. We dined in the restaurant and did not love it. It was expensive for mediocre food a d pretty small portions. Next time we would be very happy to stay there again but would go off property for dinner. Also receptionistwas extremely knowledgeable and kind. Thank you for your help

This property was fantastic. It was quiet, clean, and beautiful. Our room was wonderful and the outside picnic table area outside our room was a very nice space. The restaurant was fantastic, especially for breakfast.

Our stay was fabulous, the beautiful rooms and amenities were sparkling clean and the food was delicious. The whole estate was wonderfully laid out and only 15 minutes from the first entrance to the national park, there is also a trail just down the road that overlooks the lakes. I have already recommended it to other friends. We will most definitely stay here again when we return with our family.

From the photos I expected a dusty rustic cabin. Instead I found a clean room, although the furniture was a bit dated. The bathroom was modern and clean. The kitchenette was small but effective. The Nespresso machine was appreciated. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. You leave your luggage in their parking lot, where an attendant picks up and delivers it to your room/cabin. We had an upstairs unit so climbing stairs was required. Being upstairs we could sleep with the windows open and enjoy the cool breeze and sound of crickets. We took advantage of the sauna, which you need to reserve. The staff was helpful and courteous. I'd stay there again. A wonderful bonus Fenomen Resort offers is the incredible Plitvice National Park waterfalls view you get from following a short trail through the forest. The last two or three kilometers to the resort is on a narrow winding road up the hill but it's worth it.
