We questioned & were advised parking our 24ft boat/trailer would work. With the steep & narrow drive, it was mission impossible which forced us to seek & find a place to park our boat/trailer. Keep in mind this all occurred after 6pm when no one answers their phone. As owners of our own hot tub, we were extremely disappointed that many of the functions on the hot tub at this location are inoperable. We only used it one night--def not worth the hassle of removing the enormous cover for something that does not operate as it was represented. Would never recommend this rental to anyone.

What a nice little find! We came here for a little rest and relaxation and were not disappointed. We absolutely loved the back deck with the comfy outdoor sectional. Had morning coffee, listened to the birds, saw the deer and it was perfect. The swim spa was very nice as well. Took a raft and just floated. The location was in a nice quiet area and we took walks to see all the other cabins and such. It is on the small side, but for 2 of us, it was no problem. Thanks for opening your home to us! We will be back!

Our long weekend at Shaded Log Cabin was great! Loved having the fire pit and swim spa. We watched squirrels, chipmunks, and deer in the woods. Not as private as we would have liked but was a great place to stay. Very clean and well stocked. We loved relaxing on the porches.

This is a cute clean little cabin. The inside was very cute and tidy, the outside could use a little more attention though. The front porch was very cute but could use a little more cleaning as there were cobwebs all over in the screened in front porch. The swim spa would have been great except for the fact that only one side had functioning water jets. I understand about the water fall not working as parts are probably difficult to get and we were informed of the issue ahead of time but only the left side jets were working ...that was disappointing. I would recommend having someone check that out as another part may need to be ordered. I would also like to mention that none of the solar lights or rope lights are working anywhere outside (front , side or back areas) as well . That is especially dangerous when using the steps that go around the hot tub to the grill and fire pit area. I almost fell down the steps the first evening as I could not see the steps in the darkened corner. A string or two of white LED Christmas lights (as rope lighting is more expensive )would probably work around the railing to help light the steps and maybe even a string or two above the hot tub on the pergola structure. All in all it was a nice stay as the cabin was clean and well stocked. Thanks for sharing your little get away place!! Thank you, Tracy and Fred

We rented this cabin several months ago in anticipation of the 2024 eclipse viewing which we were able to view perfectly from the cabin site. Both of us work full time and welcomed a retreat to unplug and reconnect with eachother and our two furbabies. This cabin was the perfect spot! The responsive owners thought of all the details from extra blankets to flashlights and card games. There are hooks placed where they need to be, battery operated candles and so many other goodies you will appreciate. The swim spa and both front and back decks were awesome.They were even equipped with gates so we were able to keep both dogs easily contained. We grilled, made smores at the fire pit which was well stocked with wood, and snuggled up on the cozy couch in the evening times. The Patoka Lake trails are nearby, and we utilized the pass to go on a day hike which our dogs appreciated. The cabin area was quiet, serene, full of amenities and had everything we needed for a successful stay. The wildlife view from the cabin was amazing as well! Don't pass on this one!

Our entire family had a great stay! The outdoor space is the best. Hot tub, grill, fire pit all contributed to the perfect family atmosphere we were seeking. Cabin clean and modern. Communication top notch. We look forward to a return trip!

The swim spa was terrific! Fireplace and wall heaters inside kept the cabin cozy. Firepit and wood available we were able to have a fire all day. Would definitely stay here again!!!

My husand and I really enjoyed staying in the cabin. The swim spa is clean and perfect to relax in. The front porch was comfy for coffee in the mornings. The back porch was ideal for dinners. A short drive to Patoka Lake. Secluded. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Quiet location on a one-lane gravel road through the woods that was perfect for walking our dog. We saw deer on our walks each day. Several other cabins are within view, but the woods between each one provides some seclusion. The small cabin was a perfect size for our party of two and a dog. Cute decor inside, and the front and back outdoor spaces are awesome. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. They had everything that we needed. I was impressed by the cleanliness. As a person with chronic back pain, my back did not hurt after lying down on the queen bed upstairs. The swim spa was awesome! I recommend staying at this cabin!

We had a wonderful time at our cabin rental. We were offered to check in early, which was a nice plus. The cabin was clean and cozy. The hot tub and back porch were perfect for relaxing. Would definitely stay again!

There is nothing like a quick getaway with girlfriends. This cabin was PERFECT with two beautiful porch options with plenty of cozy outside seating and beautiful scenery. Communication was a breeze with Crystal the property manager. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything you’d need to cook - pots, pans, utensils, pizza cutter…very well stocked. We visited with 4 adult females and there was plenty of room - 1 king and 2 queens. Highly recommend, we will absolutely be back!

A wonderful little cabin in a beautiful setting. Every amenity provided. Clean. Comfortable. Swim spa is an added luxury. An enclosed front porch and covered back porch with lots of comfy seating. A super location. 10 mins from a brewery, distillery,and winery. Super host. We enjoyed it all.

Property is just like the pictures! Very comfy stay and they have thought of everything you may need while there from can opener and pizza cutter to towels and extra blankets. Great little fall getaway spot!

This cabin was absolutely perfect from check in to check out. The hot tub, beds, location, lay out, amenities all were perfect for a relaxing time to reconnect with friends and disconnect from the grind. Would go back!!

What a wonderful trip! From the cabin to the swim spa to the location, everything was just perfect! The property manager, Jason, was especially helpful and accommodating. I cannot imagine how anything could have been better. Our children loved the loft area and everything about the location, and our dog would definitely agree. My husband and I appreciated that everything had been selected with kindness and love: nothing was missed nor shortchanged in this place! Thanks again for an incredible stay and such incredible service. We would love to return in the future.

Excellent place to stay and relax. Host communication was superb as he even checked on us over the weekend. Close to French Lick, Patoka Lake, and not to faraway from Holiday World. This is a cabin in the woods, lots of deer, squirrels, and turkeys. I would highly recommend to anyone
Excellent place to stay and relax. Host communication was superb as he even checked on us over the weekend. Close to French Lick, Patoka Lake, and not to faraway from Holiday World. This is a cabin in the woods, lots of deer, squirrels, and turkeys. I would highly recommend to anyone

Love love this cute cabin! Super clean! Well stocked! The SwimSpa is all that andmore. We were able to do an early check in. Communication was amazing and Pam was always there if you had any questions. Felt at home!

We questioned & were advised parking our 24ft boat/trailer would work. With the steep & narrow drive, it was mission impossible which forced us to seek & find a place to park our boat/trailer. Keep in mind this all occurred after 6pm when no one answers their phone. As owners of our own hot tub, we were extremely disappointed that many of the functions on the hot tub at this location are inoperable. We only used it one night--def not worth the hassle of removing the enormous cover for something that does not operate as it was represented. Would never recommend this rental to anyone.

We had a wonderful time at our cabin rental. We were offered to check in early, which was a nice plus. The cabin was clean and cozy. The hot tub and back porch were perfect for relaxing. Would definitely stay again!

This place is great for a lake getaway. It is secluded and very well maintained. Close to the state park, Patoka lake winery and only about twenty minutes from French Lick. We encountered a small miscommunication with the owner that he resolved immediately and satisfactorily as he is very involved in making sure each guest has an excellent time at his place.

What a wonderful trip! From the cabin to the swim spa to the location, everything was just perfect! The property manager, Jason, was especially helpful and accommodating. I cannot imagine how anything could have been better. Our children loved the loft area and everything about the location, and our dog would definitely agree. My husband and I appreciated that everything had been selected with kindness and love: nothing was missed nor shortchanged in this place! Thanks again for an incredible stay and such incredible service. We would love to return in the future.

There is nothing like a quick getaway with girlfriends. This cabin was PERFECT with two beautiful porch options with plenty of cozy outside seating and beautiful scenery. Communication was a breeze with Crystal the property manager. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything you’d need to cook - pots, pans, utensils, pizza cutter…very well stocked. We visited with 4 adult females and there was plenty of room - 1 king and 2 queens. Highly recommend, we will absolutely be back!

My husand and I really enjoyed staying in the cabin. The swim spa is clean and perfect to relax in. The front porch was comfy for coffee in the mornings. The back porch was ideal for dinners. A short drive to Patoka Lake. Secluded. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our family really enjoyed this cabin! It was cozy and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We made a fire every night in the fire pit with all of the wood that was provided and enjoyed the large hot tub that easily accommodated the five of us. We mainly went on hikes and especially enjoyed Hemlock Cliffs with all the caves and waterfalls. French Lick is just twenty minutes away so there was plenty of places to eat and activities to do.

What a nice little find! We came here for a little rest and relaxation and were not disappointed. We absolutely loved the back deck with the comfy outdoor sectional. Had morning coffee, listened to the birds, saw the deer and it was perfect. The swim spa was very nice as well. Took a raft and just floated. The location was in a nice quiet area and we took walks to see all the other cabins and such. It is on the small side, but for 2 of us, it was no problem. Thanks for opening your home to us! We will be back!

Our long weekend at Shaded Log Cabin was great! Loved having the fire pit and swim spa. We watched squirrels, chipmunks, and deer in the woods. Not as private as we would have liked but was a great place to stay. Very clean and well stocked. We loved relaxing on the porches.

Cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Quiet location on a one-lane gravel road through the woods that was perfect for walking our dog. We saw deer on our walks each day. Several other cabins are within view, but the woods between each one provides some seclusion. The small cabin was a perfect size for our party of two and a dog. Cute decor inside, and the front and back outdoor spaces are awesome. Would definitely recommend.

Our trip was so relaxing, the area the cabin is located is very quiet and peaceful. Deer and squirrel right in the back yard. We stayed during New Years and honestly it was a wonderful time. The winery is a must and Kelley’s was a nice place to stop to grab a quick bite to eat. Crystal was wonderful and very quick to respond. 10/10 would visit again.

Overall awesome!!! Area could use a nice restaurant or two. Had to go 25 minutes to eat when we went out. Not a big deal to us because we went to town anyway. Mainly a breakfast cafe would be a big plus. The one course didn’t have a grill working. Back porch area is just fantastic with the hot tub and fire pit. Will definitely be back!!!!

We rented this cabin several months ago in anticipation of the 2024 eclipse viewing which we were able to view perfectly from the cabin site. Both of us work full time and welcomed a retreat to unplug and reconnect with eachother and our two furbabies. This cabin was the perfect spot! The responsive owners thought of all the details from extra blankets to flashlights and card games. There are hooks placed where they need to be, battery operated candles and so many other goodies you will appreciate. The swim spa and both front and back decks were awesome.They were even equipped with gates so we were able to keep both dogs easily contained. We grilled, made smores at the fire pit which was well stocked with wood, and snuggled up on the cozy couch in the evening times. The Patoka Lake trails are nearby, and we utilized the pass to go on a day hike which our dogs appreciated. The cabin area was quiet, serene, full of amenities and had everything we needed for a successful stay. The wildlife view from the cabin was amazing as well! Don't pass on this one!

Place was great! Hot tub ended up having an issue with one of the pumps so it was not fully operational for a couple nights. Hosts were very on top of it and were able to get it working for our last day, great communication. Fully recommend!

Lovely cabin shaded under beautiful trees. We loved the enclosed front porch, the lounge area on the back porch and the hot tub. It was well stocked with toiletries, popcorn and cooking utensils.Thank you for your hospitality!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin for our weekend getaway! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was definitely a highlight for the kids and made our evenings extra fun. The location was perfect for what we had planned, making it easy to get around and enjoy our time.
