Perfect spot for our family and in laws to enjoy the lake and the area. Great location on the lake and the home was stocked with everything we needed. The dock was a great spot to have the kids play and adults relax. Definitely a great spot!

Had a great stay. Upper deck is nice, it was under construction the last tine we stayed here. Love the fire pit every evening.

The house, dock, and water was all great. Enjoyed the almost zero access from the car to the house. The swimming was good with no other docks real close. Only about 3 miles from Woods Grocery was real nice. All around good stay.

Upper deck was under construction and that was not disclosed. It will be nice for the next stay! Other than that it was a nice clean place.

Property and house were fantastic. I have a large family and we were all able to make ourselves at home. The house was listed as a 4 bedroom which was a little deceiving but we definitely made it work. The cove is also very beautiful but busy on the weekend. Be mindful if you are bringing a smaller boat!! Parking is a little tight if you are bringing a boat, but again very doable with a little ingenuity. Thank you so much for the stay, we loved our time there and appreciate you lending us the house for the week!

Our family had an great time. We really like the restaurant at the end of the cove, the sunset views and spent a lot of time on the patio,dock and fishing! We brought our boat and tied up in the extra slip. Just wish the fish cooperated lol

After having rented many years through VRBO, resorts, condos and houses, this was by far the cleanest and best we’ve had! There is nothing I would change about this house. The dock is great for swimming and the fire pit is awesome! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. One thing you’ll need to pack on your own is beach towels, which some rentals have and others don’t. Not a complaint at all, just FYI for future renters. Thanks from a fellow Iowan!!

We would definitely stay here again. The location is in a great spot! It was convenient to get to any place on the water. The house was clean and accomodating for the seven of us. It was also nice to sit on the patio and use the fire pit. There was also plenty of kitchen utensils and supplies making it nice for cooking. Host was responsive with any questions we had. Woods is also super close, really nice, and has just about anything you could need. Things I wished I asked or knew- boat slip is in a wake zone- keep this in mind during peak hours. Make sure to use extra bumpers and be startegic with how you tie up. Host did tell us about parking and number of spots. Please note it was tight for a GMC Sierra 1500 and another SUV. It is doable, but it is a little tricky navigating.

We will definitely be back!!

We thought the house was clean and updated. Nice quite quarters downstairs with fireplace and 2 decks for gatherings. Very close to Frankie and Louies whom is one of our favorite restaurant. The dock was very nice too. We would definitely rent this one again.

It was a great Christmas weekend getaway for me and my kids. The house was comfy and on a nice quiet cove. The weather wasn't helping us but we still enjoyed by just relaxing and playing games inside. House was stock and had almost everything we need to last us for our stayed. My kids love the double bunk beds it was their favorite. The bed was comfy and sheets was clean. Will definitely book it again in the future.

This property has a beautiful view and is great for teens and young adults. However, the stairs are very steep. I'm a women's 7, and I had to turn my feet to get up and down them. It is not ideal for anyone who is older or needs assistance.The beds are extremely hard. We were all sore each morning. The most disappointing part of this place was the complete disregard for visitor's safety. We sat down at the dining room table for a game, and I moved slightly. Before I knew it, I had crashed to the ground. I seriously hurt my hip and smacked the back of my head against the sliding glass door that I was next to. My vision went black, I turned pale, and became ill. I was rushed to the hospital for a possibly dislocated hip and a concussion. Amongst the commotion, in a hurry to check on my toddler who was sleeping downstairs, my mother fell down the stairs. She hurt her shoulder and still has a bruise on her arm.Upon further examination of the dining room chairs, we discovered they had known it was broken and had attempted to glue it. I'm most certainly not big enough to break a wooden chair. Thank God one of my older and heavier family members wasn't the one to sit in that chair. They could have been hurt even more or died. When I reached out to the owners to explain what happened, they completely ignored me. Not even an "I'm sorry." Their laziness in not replacing the broken furniture sent me to the hospital. I'm going to have to see a chiropractor for the pain I stil

Place was great. Upstair bath has been remodled with walk in shower. New upper deck going in, looks nice so far. Faces east so no blaring hot sun in the evening. Caught fish off dock everyday. Pretty comfy beds. Kitchenware was well stocked. Good golfing and food near by. If looking for a fishing boat the only place is alhonna marine. Will be back next year.

An amazing place to vacation. The lake house, the deck, the patios and dock are unbelievable! The view is worth a million dollars! An amazing place to make so many memories!! Owner is outstanding to work with.

Rented before busy summer season and it was so quiet and peaceful. Property manager has great communication. Rental was very comfortable and has everything you need. Lake is beautiful. Gas and very nice grocery store within 2 miles. Very handy location.

Proximity to groceries and dining was very good. Can you tell we really enjoyed our stay? (Having 70-80 degree weather in November was an unexpected plus.) Highly recommend staying at Dewey's Dream.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Perfect for two families of 4. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean. We loved the firepit for smores and sitting on the upper deck. Our only negative, which the owners have zero control over, is that this is a highly trafficked cove. Its a busy one and folks are speeding by most of the day causing the water to be very rough around the dock. Just sharing because it made parking our boat very tricky at certain times of the day. We unloaded our boat and parked our trailer (for free) at Franky and Louie’s which was also a great place to eat and hang out a bit. Thank you for a great long weekend!

The house was as advertised. Great location on the lake to reach several restaurants and boat rental locations. Easy drive to other locations that were too far to boat.
