I had the impression this place will have a place to cook indoors..however it did not... It dis had a faucet in the room. No sure why if you will not bee cooking indoors... I am not sure of the anemities it offered , I suggest you do...for the price you may be paying

There was false advertising of a view of lake from room, shower was ridiculously inadequate size and non adjustable stream, the indoor pool facilities were old and unclean shower/ dressing room and shower in pool area for pre- swim was disgustingly dirty and pool was not heated and hot tub not hot. Entering pool I slipped fast on the first step under water that were slick pulling a muscle in my left forearm to catch myself with the railing from falling backwards causing severe pain then and hours later and questionable injury. Generally speaking disappointing experience from start to finish. I left previous information regarding lack of trash cans in each room, dirty coffee filter. The stairway carpet in the building is dirty and smells, the entrance is old and rough looking. The staff were all pleasant enough and knew how to vaguely mention things that may not be quite up to standards due to a fire and getting back on their feet. Blah blah blah. I’m truly sorry I didn’t stay at a nicer place for my birthday and was grateful to finally get a change of scenery but it really was one disappointment for me. I would request a refund for one night please.

The staff was very friendly. The lodge where you check in and the restaurant attached was beautiful! We didn't get a hot tub in our cabin....I thought I booked that, but apparently not. We went to swimming pool that had jacuzzi tub attached , but this was as cold as the pool water. There was a sauna in this pool room but it was not working or installed yet and had bags of potting soil in it. We were a little disappointed about that, but otherwise very happy. Our little cabin was peaceful.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this charming cabin and our kids are already asking when we can go back. The location is perfect—close enough to explore downtown Berkeley Springs but far enough to feel like a real escape. The cabin itself has so much character. Our kids absolutely loved having their own space on the second floor, which gave us some peace and quiet downstairs. The bathrooms are a highlight—that big soaking tub was a huge hit with the whole family, and we found ourselves drawn to it every evening. The fire pit outside is fantastic for gathering as a family, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying the mountain air. We also ate at the on-site restaurant, which was convenient and had solid options—a nice bonus when you don't want to pack the kids back into the car after a full day. One small note: the cabin could use a bit more air circulation or freshening between guests (it had that closed-up smell), but nothing a few open windows didn't help with pretty quickly. All in all, this is a great spot for families looking for a relaxing mountain weekend with good amenities and thoughtful touches. Would definitely recommend and would happily return.
