Suncroft

Selve huset var fint flot udsigt, meget charmerende, der var nogle beskidte glas og tallerkner og tekande, som fik lige en tur i opvaskmaskine, men ellers var huset rent og pænt. Men….at kalde det en 2 bil indkørsel er en joke. Vi køre i en lang, høj bil som med få cm kunne komme under hoveddør og der var kun få cm på hver side af bilen, som ikke kunne bakkes hele vejen inde i carporten !,, en carport og indkørsel der kræver en erfarne dygtig billist, ellers er det kun brugbare med små biler.

Its three bedrooms, two bathrooms and large kitchen with ample living spaces made for a relaxing and most comfortable stay.

Both the cottage and it's garden are a delight. The kitchen area had everything we could possibly need for our stay, and has been beautifully fitted overall with a lovely central island. The sitting areas were cozy but not cramped, and well decorated and furnished. Everything was very clean and tidy. The property has the most amazing views over the landscape from the spacious kitchen and from one of the bedrooms. We visited in very warm weather, and the upstairs areas were very warm, but fans had been provided and solved this issue for us. The vaulted ceilings in the main bedroom, with the natural coloured beams are a beautiful feature. The main bedroom has a large bed, but one of the other two bedrooms would benefit from a slightly larger bed too. The large bath was another nice feature for us, and looked very new. The parking spaces to the side of the cottage need to be navigated carefully if using a large car, but there is plenty of other parking on the lane. The neighbours next door were friendly, and the village was very pretty.
