My family very much enjoyed this rental. We searched all of Ireland and parts of England and looked at basically every rental that met our criteria. The house is off a main road that has neighbors, but it is very private and none of the neighbors are near by. The house is well designed for two couples or a family of 4-5, and without much clutter. The kitchen has all the gear you would want, including fry pans that are still non stick. The location of the house is not too far from Clifden and not too far from Connemara. The internet was extreme strong and had no issue with 4 devices running. The only potential negative is we thought we could walk to the lake, but the field is tiered and there is no lake access directly from the house. Overall, this is one of our top 4 vacation rentals, we had a very relaxing time, and we would definitely stay here again. 10/10.

Ein wunderschönes Haus, liebevoll eingerichtet in sehr ruhiger Lage. Nach einen langen Tag lädt die Terrasse mit Blick auf dem Teich zum Entspannen ein, am Abend kann man den Sternenhimmel beobachten sofern es das Wetter es zulässt. Die Stadt Clifden ist ca. 5 Km entfernt dort kann man sich mit allen notwendigen wie z.B. Lebensmitteln versorgen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Séjour très agréable dans un gite grand et confortable, très bien situé (quelques minutes de Clifden, mais néanmoins en pleine campagne). Literie très confortable. Un seul point d'amélioration déjà évoqué dans certains commentaires: il faudrait plus d'assiettes, verres, couverts.

Great house not far from Clifden. Perfect for our trip in the Connemara region! Mary was great to work with. Would definitely stay here again. There is a drying press upstairs, this thing was great! Told Mary I want one in my house!!!!!Never used the dryer, only the drying press!!! Home was very clean. Plenty of sheep to see right outside of your door and horses too. The lake is beautiful!!!

We hebben erg genoten van de ruimte in en om het huis. Erg rustig, mooi uitzicht en goede voorzieningen in het huis. De droog ruimte was perfect daar we doornat aankwamen. Houd er rekening mee dat als je op de fiets komt het een aardige klim is richting de entree van het perceel plus een steile afdaling naar het huisje toe. Maar het geheel is de rit meer dan waard.

Gorgeous property, stunning views and the pictures really don’t do it justice. Not one but two en-suites - great when you have teenage kids! Mary has thought of everything, there are even comfy chairs by the windows so you can just relax and take in the lovely views. There are fixed tables and benches outside - perfect for watching the sun set with a glass of wine. I can’t remember when I last felt so relaxed.Bedrooms are huge and beds are so comfy. My kids said it was the best sleep they had ever had! Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need and brilliant to have a washing machine and dishwasher. There are Connemara ponies that come up to say hello when they see you and one day we even had a herd of 4 wild deer by the driveway!!Clifden is only a short drive away, and there you will find everything you need for eating out, shopping etc. Plus some beautiful beaches and Connemara National Park all close by. Mary was always brilliant at getting back to us if we had any questions, not only ahead of our arrival but also whilst we were there. Superb communication.This place really is a slice of Heaven and we can’t wait to come back again.

Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour dans cette maison ! Même mes ado !!! J’y reviendrai les yeux fermés. La vue est magnifique et la maison confortable Il manque juste un peu de matériel de cuisine (verres et assiettes pour 5-6 personnes) Un grand merci pour ce séjour !

Lovely spacious home. Huge kitchen that had all the necessary items to cook everyday. We stayed in the property for 2 weeks and cooked almost all meals there. Beds were very comfortable and excellent wi-fi service. The property location is stunning. Overlooking a lake and woods. Very peaceful and quiet. Just what we needed! There are daily visits from horses and sheep from the adjacent properties which was fabulous. We also saw herds of red deer. Overall, a superb peaceful holiday with lots of nature.

During our Ireland tour, we and our two adult children really enjoyed our three-day stay in the holiday home near Clifden. There is a fantastic view of the nearby lake and the landscape. Deer and horses could be seen at the lake. The house is spacious, in top condition and very quiet (5 minutes by car from Clifden, where there are many shops). The furnishings and sophisticated design of the interior, cleanliness, contact with the landlord - everything was perfect. We would go back anytime!

It truly was a gem for us. The home was bright, airy, and spotless. The kitchen was so well-organized that we never had to wonder where anything was. We spent most of our indoor time in the kitchen and dining area — the large table was perfect for meals, games, and activities.Mary was exceptionally responsive and quickly sorted out the minor issues we faced upon arrival (we came during Storm Amy, so there were a few temporary electricity and water disruptions). The beds and linens were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest.The location is beautifully secluded, with dark skies at night — perfect for stargazing. The surroundings were truly picturesque; we only wished the weather had allowed us to enjoy dinner outdoors facing the lake.We’d definitely love to return if we visit the country again.

Absolutely lovely house, spotlessly clean, and with fabulous views. The location was perfect, very peaceful, but also close to Cliften, within easy access to stunning beaches, walks and restaurants. Mary was great - very quick to respond to messages and keen to make sure we had everything we needed. Hope to be back again soon.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette superbe maison. Localisation (parfaite pour visister la région des lacs), propreté, équipements, contacts avec les prioritaires, informations données, etc. Tout était parfait ! Perfectly located in a quiet rural sitting 10 minutes drive from Clifden. Very clean, comfortable and spacious house. We had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. Cannot fault the property and would definitely stay again if in the region.

Just 10 minutes from Clifden, this cottages is a haven of peace and tranquility. With wild deers, hares and ponies in the fields next door.Very comfortable bed and just about everything you need.

During our Ireland tour, we and our two adult children really enjoyed our three-day stay in the holiday home near Clifden. There is a fantastic view of the nearby lake and the landscape. Deer and horses could be seen at the lake. The house is spacious, in top condition and very quiet (5 minutes by car from Clifden, where there are many shops). The furnishings and sophisticated design of the interior, cleanliness, contact with the landlord - everything was perfect. We would go back anytime!

It truly was a gem for us. The home was bright, airy, and spotless. The kitchen was so well-organized that we never had to wonder where anything was. We spent most of our indoor time in the kitchen and dining area — the large table was perfect for meals, games, and activities.Mary was exceptionally responsive and quickly sorted out the minor issues we faced upon arrival (we came during Storm Amy, so there were a few temporary electricity and water disruptions). The beds and linens were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest.The location is beautifully secluded, with dark skies at night — perfect for stargazing. The surroundings were truly picturesque; we only wished the weather had allowed us to enjoy dinner outdoors facing the lake.We’d definitely love to return if we visit the country again.

Great house not far from Clifden. Perfect for our trip in the Connemara region! Mary was great to work with. Would definitely stay here again. There is a drying press upstairs, this thing was great! Told Mary I want one in my house!!!!!Never used the dryer, only the drying press!!! Home was very clean. Plenty of sheep to see right outside of your door and horses too. The lake is beautiful!!!

Gorgeous property, stunning views and the pictures really don’t do it justice. Not one but two en-suites - great when you have teenage kids! Mary has thought of everything, there are even comfy chairs by the windows so you can just relax and take in the lovely views. There are fixed tables and benches outside - perfect for watching the sun set with a glass of wine. I can’t remember when I last felt so relaxed.Bedrooms are huge and beds are so comfy. My kids said it was the best sleep they had ever had! Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need and brilliant to have a washing machine and dishwasher. There are Connemara ponies that come up to say hello when they see you and one day we even had a herd of 4 wild deer by the driveway!!Clifden is only a short drive away, and there you will find everything you need for eating out, shopping etc. Plus some beautiful beaches and Connemara National Park all close by. Mary was always brilliant at getting back to us if we had any questions, not only ahead of our arrival but also whilst we were there. Superb communication.This place really is a slice of Heaven and we can’t wait to come back again.

My husband and I spent a lovely week in Marys house it is very clean and comfortable the surrounding area is beautiful and Clifden is a very pretty town with a good choice of restaurants and bars. Its about a 10 minute drive but could not walk to it as road is busy and windy. The weather was not great for us but the house was warm and cosy when we came back from our days out. Mary was very helpful and responded very quickly to any questions. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely lovely house, spotlessly clean, and with fabulous views. The location was perfect, very peaceful, but also close to Cliften, within easy access to stunning beaches, walks and restaurants. Mary was great - very quick to respond to messages and keen to make sure we had everything we needed. Hope to be back again soon.

Das Haus bietet alles für einen entspannten Urlaub. Die Nähe zu Clifden und auch zu vielen anderen Urlaubszielen ist einfach perfekt. Der Skyroad liegt praktisch vor der Tür. Mary war per Mail immer erreichbar und hat sich gut um uns gekümmert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Voilà bien l'une de nos meilleures locations ! Une maison magnifique, un cadre enchanteur où l'on peut voir biches, renards, lapins, lièvres,faisans..... La vue est splendide et la maison extrêmement confortable. La literie est excellente, les pièces sont vastes et lumineuses et décorées avec goût, le calme absolu tout en étant près de Clifden, bref tout nous a plu!!! Les échanges par mail avec Mary sont rapides et efficaces.... A recommander les yeux fermés

Ein wunderschönes Haus, liebevoll eingerichtet in sehr ruhiger Lage. Nach einen langen Tag lädt die Terrasse mit Blick auf dem Teich zum Entspannen ein, am Abend kann man den Sternenhimmel beobachten sofern es das Wetter es zulässt. Die Stadt Clifden ist ca. 5 Km entfernt dort kann man sich mit allen notwendigen wie z.B. Lebensmitteln versorgen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Just 10 minutes from Clifden, this cottages is a haven of peace and tranquility. With wild deers, hares and ponies in the fields next door.Very comfortable bed and just about everything you need.

Perfectly located in a quiet rural sitting 10 minutes drive from Clifden. Very clean, comfortable and spacious house. We had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. Cannot fault the property and would definitely stay again if in the region.

Das Haus ist sehr neu, groß und super ausgestattet. Die Lage ist allerdings sehr abseits. Man kann von hier aus nirgendwo hinlaufen sondern muss immer mit dem Auto fahren

Lovely spacious home. Huge kitchen that had all the necessary items to cook everyday. We stayed in the property for 2 weeks and cooked almost all meals there. Beds were very comfortable and excellent wi-fi service. The property location is stunning. Overlooking a lake and woods. Very peaceful and quiet. Just what we needed! There are daily visits from horses and sheep from the adjacent properties which was fabulous. We also saw herds of red deer. Overall, a superb peaceful holiday with lots of nature.
