Excellent service except for the one night they came beating on my door. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was very clean. Moldy loungers so you didn’t want to lay on them. Gym was not available and my friend needed to work out; one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was it had a gym. No massages available. A lot of confusion surrounding the floating pool breakfast I ordered. I wouldn’t recommend doing that again. Staff at breakfast every morning were excellent and the food was delicious.

Wapa Di Ume is a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. It feels very traditional and formal, in both look and service compared to some other places we stayed while in Bali. The staff is all very friendly and professional, and happy to help. The rooms are huge, and very minimally decorated, which is both practical and calming. The super-sized beds are super inviting. The spa was lovely, we booked a couples spa package that included a Balinese massage, body scrub, and flower bath overlooking the jungle and grounds - perhaps the highlight of our stay. The hotel restaurant was very good, and the floating breakfast was lovely in the infinity pool, which we had to ourselves.

Beautiful place. Love the peacefulness and quietness of this place. Not too far from Ubud shopping center. They have a shuttle to take you to the center and pick you up. All staff were friendly. Attentive and prompt to any concerns. We stayed there 8 days. Suprasa the manager was really nice, upgraded our room with a private pool when he noticed we were staying for couple days. Checked in on us to see how everything was and attentive to needs and concerns. We had breakfast here everyday overlooking the beautiful rice terrace, there was a good selection of choices. We were usually out exploring so we had lunch and dinner somewhere else. But the restaurant does serve lunch and dinner as well. The Infiniti pool was very enjoyable. My heart misses everyone at this beautiful resort.

Hôtel sublime, nous avions une chambre très jolie décorée avec beaucoup de soin, et une immense baignoire donnant sur les rizières. Cependant assez mal isolée du bruit. La piscine centrale a deux étages est très belle au milieu de la jungle. Il y a 2 piscines, qui sont assez loin l’une de l’autre. Il y a pas mal de distance et de marches. Le spa est très joli et les massage de qualité. Le restaurant est assez bon mais les quantités sont vraiment petites et les prix élevés. Il y a quelques restaurants très bons au alentours à pied.

Just had 3 peaceful days here. Pure bliss. Staff go above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. Choices at breakfast were varied. I ate all dinners here. Delicious food at bargain prices (compared to U.S.). Drink prices were not as cheap, but I'm not a huge drinker, so it was ok. I used their spa (was given 20% discount). They offer free shuttle to/from downtown Ubud. Honestly, so glad I didnt stay in town..crazy crowded. This was much more peaceful. They has a cultural night with traditional dancing. And the property landscaping is gorgeous!

- sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, das auf alle Wünsche eingeht - sehr leckeres Frühstück - tolle Anlage mitten im Dschungel, sehr entspannte Atmosphäre und Stimmung - super Massagen - tolle Pools - gut geplante Touren, die vom Hotel angeboten werden - 2x am Tag kommt der Zimmerservice Einfach perfekt zum Runterkommen :) Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben!

We booked the family villa and it was beautiful, just like the resort. Few resorts in Ubud have beautiful scenery like this one - right on a rice field (not terrace), with an infinity pool and a spa. My favorite part was that the resort offers activities like yoga classes and rice paddy walk. That was a nice bonus. They also arranged breakfast in pool but this felt a but overpriced considering breakfast is already included in the reservation and it was not any different. Areas of improvement are: 1) the gym - it’s in poor condition with some machines not working. No A/C. 2) entire resort is poorly lit at night. Lighting needs to be better. We almost tripped several times cause it was too dark. 3) pest control needs to improve - our room was full of spider webs and wasps. We wouldn’t care but it got to a point where we had bugs in our beds. 4) Communication - teach your staff English. We had tons of miscommunications with appointments. 5) The spa needs more attention. We had a bad massage here, towels were dirty, booked for 1 hr but lasted only 40 minutes. Masseuses were tired as it was end of day. 6) room safe was broken Based on these reasons, although I didn’t mind my stay here, I would rather stay at a different resort next time I’m in Ubud.

A l’écart de l’agitation d’Ubud, tout en étant à dix minutes en navette gratuite, l’hôtel est au bord des rizières. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et attentionné, les chambres sont propres et belles. C’était vraiment un plaisir de séjourner là.

Amazing hotel. Staff was incredibly friendly and took care of absolutely anything requested. Grounds were beautiful and the room was large, clean, and beautifully decorated. We will be back.

This place was probably once amazing. Not at all anymore. The handle in our shower came right off. No hot water or pressure to begin with. They did fix it but would not use the tub for any reason. Both the tub and the toilet looked like they had been leaking and improperly fixed. Throughout the property there was mold on many of the outdoor surfaces. The breakfast was not good at all. One day the yogurt was warm. Another the scrambled eggs were not even close to cooked. The stench throughout the grounds was absolutely disgusting. I honestly have no idea how this has as many stars as it does. The only positive was the staff's friendliness.

Wonderful stay at Wapa di Uma Resort. It’s one of the most beautiful and serene places in Ubud. Very friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and everything was clean and well maintained. Loved everything about the property (ie. the pools were beautiful, clean, and excellently serviced by hotel staff. The rooms are the same. The staff is phenomenal. Very friendly and always professional.

We booked the family villa and it was beautiful, just like the resort. Few resorts in Ubud have beautiful scenery like this one - right on a rice field (not terrace), with an infinity pool and a spa. My favorite part was that the resort offers activities like yoga classes and rice paddy walk. That was a nice bonus. They also arranged breakfast in pool but this felt a but overpriced considering breakfast is already included in the reservation and it was not any different. Areas of improvement are: 1) the gym - it’s in poor condition with some machines not working. No A/C. 2) entire resort is poorly lit at night. Lighting needs to be better. We almost tripped several times cause it was too dark. 3) pest control needs to improve - our room was full of spider webs and wasps. We wouldn’t care but it got to a point where we had bugs in our beds. 4) Communication - teach your staff English. We had tons of miscommunications with appointments. 5) The spa needs more attention. We had a bad massage here, towels were dirty, booked for 1 hr but lasted only 40 minutes. Masseuses were tired as it was end of day. 6) room safe was broken Based on these reasons, although I didn’t mind my stay here, I would rather stay at a different resort next time I’m in Ubud.

As good or better than the photos. Very large individual pool and huge room. Bathroom top notch and very clean and super quiet at night. The on site restaurant was better than anywhere else we ate in Ubud and staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Definitely stay there again unless this and other positive reviews push prices out of our range!

Such attentive staff, amazingly huge room with view. Breakfast was amazing. Had low expectations but everything was exceeeded. Rooms were expansive and beds so comfortable. What an enjoyable stay. Not far from town either but away from the hustle.

Good location in a quiet part of Ubud. Rooms were spacious but not a lot of daylight. Chair and umbrellas at the pools seemed old and in need of an upgrade. Very friendly staff.

Hôtel sublime, nous avions une chambre très jolie décorée avec beaucoup de soin, et une immense baignoire donnant sur les rizières. Cependant assez mal isolée du bruit. La piscine centrale a deux étages est très belle au milieu de la jungle. Il y a 2 piscines, qui sont assez loin l’une de l’autre. Il y a pas mal de distance et de marches. Le spa est très joli et les massage de qualité. Le restaurant est assez bon mais les quantités sont vraiment petites et les prix élevés. Il y a quelques restaurants très bons au alentours à pied.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 9 night stay at Wapa di Ume Ubud. This was my third visit to Ubud in the past five years, and I stayed at two other resorts on my previous trips. Wapa di Ume Ubud had turned out to be my favorite resort by far. For my future visits to Ubud, I will only stay here from now on. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant staff were so amazing. Everyone greeted me each time with a big, authentic smile. I felt like I was treated like family or a friend, not just as a guest. I highly recommend the villa with private pool. Everything I had at Mr. Wayan, Coffee and Eatery was exceptional, from their Indonesian selections to their Western selections. I am looking forward to returning to Wapa di Ume Ubud next year.

The staff were service oriented, very hospitable from the start and checking in via WhatsApp for our needs/questions and also for a smooth arrival/departure. The room does not have a tv but that wasn’t a concern for us just something to take note. It is really big and clean, the bathtub was amazing as well though the water may not remain hot to fill it completely. The breakfast is not a buffet but more than sufficient with many vegan and vegetarian options. Overall I loved the property and would love to come back

Beautiful place. Love the peacefulness and quietness of this place. Not too far from Ubud shopping center. They have a shuttle to take you to the center and pick you up. All staff were friendly. Attentive and prompt to any concerns. We stayed there 8 days. Suprasa the manager was really nice, upgraded our room with a private pool when he noticed we were staying for couple days. Checked in on us to see how everything was and attentive to needs and concerns. We had breakfast here everyday overlooking the beautiful rice terrace, there was a good selection of choices. We were usually out exploring so we had lunch and dinner somewhere else. But the restaurant does serve lunch and dinner as well. The Infiniti pool was very enjoyable. My heart misses everyone at this beautiful resort.

We were welcomed with warm smiles. They showed us where everything was and assisted with our bags to room. They even learned our names and addressed us by name when they would see us. Wonderful stay at Wapa di Uma Resort. It’s one of the most beautiful and serene places in Ubud. Very friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and everything was clean and well maintained. Just had 3 peaceful days here. Pure bliss. Staff go above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. Choices at breakfast were varied. I ate all dinners here. Delicious food at bargain prices (compared to U.S.). Drink prices were not as cheap, but I'm not a huge drinker, so it was ok. I used their spa (was given 20% discount). They offer free shuttle to/from downtown Ubud. Honestly, so glad I didnt stay in town..crazy crowded. This was much more peaceful. They has a cultural night with traditional dancing. And the property landscaping is gorgeous!

A l’écart de l’agitation d’Ubud, tout en étant à dix minutes en navette gratuite, l’hôtel est au bord des rizières. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et attentionné, les chambres sont propres et belles. C’était vraiment un plaisir de séjourner là.

L’hotel mérite sa bonne note. Les personnes sont très gentille et sont aux petits soins. Les chambres sont très grandes. Nous avons dîner un soir à l’hotel car celui-ci proposait un spectacle : spectacle super et nourriture excellente. 388k/pers (enfant 2 ans gratuit, rajouter tva +service sir addition). Nous avons aussi louer un scooter pour 2 jours en passant par l’hotel : 125k/jour. Le scooter est amené sur place. Nous recommandons fortement cet hotel pour son cadre très beau, la proximité avec le centre ville (7/8min taxi) et l'accueil des personnes de l’hôtel

Wapa Di Umi Ubud feels like family. This was my second stay at this wonderful resort just on the outskirts of Ubud. Located just a short distance from the hustle bustle of Ubud, Wapa Di Ume is a peaceful retreat that reflects the beauty and tradition of Bali. The entire staff goes the extra mile and everyone is so professional, gracious and kind. This resort was recommended to us by the manager of a resort in Seminyak. Just had 3 peaceful days here. Pure bliss. Staff go above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. Choices at breakfast were varied. I ate all dinners here. Delicious food at bargain prices (compared to U.S.). Drink prices were not as cheap, but I'm not a huge drinker, so it was ok. I used their spa (was given 20% discount). They offer free shuttle to/from downtown Ubud. Honestly, so glad I didnt stay in town..crazy crowded. This was much more peaceful. They has a cultural night with traditional dancing. And the property landscaping is gorgeous!

The views are excellent and the service is extraordinary. The hotel is also very conveniently located near the art market and shopping area. Breakfast is really good too! Getting around within the property requires quite a lot of unsheltered walking.

As good or better than the photos. Very large individual pool and huge room. Bathroom top notch and very clean and super quiet at night. The on site restaurant was better than anywhere else we ate in Ubud and staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Definitely stay there again unless this and other positive reviews push prices out of our range!

Excellent service except for the one night they came beating on my door. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was very clean. Moldy loungers so you didn’t want to lay on them. Gym was not available and my friend needed to work out; one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was it had a gym. No massages available. A lot of confusion surrounding the floating pool breakfast I ordered. I wouldn’t recommend doing that again. Staff at breakfast every morning were excellent and the food was delicious.

Wapa Di Ume is a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. It feels very traditional and formal, in both look and service compared to some other places we stayed while in Bali. The staff is all very friendly and professional, and happy to help. The rooms are huge, and very minimally decorated, which is both practical and calming. The super-sized beds are super inviting. The spa was lovely, we booked a couples spa package that included a Balinese massage, body scrub, and flower bath overlooking the jungle and grounds - perhaps the highlight of our stay. The hotel restaurant was very good, and the floating breakfast was lovely in the infinity pool, which we had to ourselves.

We were welcomed with warm smiles. They showed us where everything was and assisted with our bags to room. They even learned our names and addressed us by name when they would see us. The spa was wonderful and the food was so fresh and delicious. We loved Ms. Arike in the restaurant she took very good care of us.

Hôtel sublime, nous avions une chambre très jolie décorée avec beaucoup de soin, et une immense baignoire donnant sur les rizières. Cependant assez mal isolée du bruit. La piscine centrale a deux étages est très belle au milieu de la jungle. Il y a 2 piscines, qui sont assez loin l’une de l’autre. Il y a pas mal de distance et de marches. Le spa est très joli et les massage de qualité. Le restaurant est assez bon mais les quantités sont vraiment petites et les prix élevés. Il y a quelques restaurants très bons au alentours à pied.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 9 night stay at Wapa di Ume Ubud. This was my third visit to Ubud in the past five years, and I stayed at two other resorts on my previous trips. Wapa di Ume Ubud had turned out to be my favorite resort by far. For my future visits to Ubud, I will only stay here from now on. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant staff were so amazing. Everyone greeted me each time with a big, authentic smile. I felt like I was treated like family or a friend, not just as a guest. I highly recommend the villa with private pool. Everything I had at Mr. Wayan, Coffee and Eatery was exceptional, from their Indonesian selections to their Western selections. I am looking forward to returning to Wapa di Ume Ubud next year.

It was ok but way to expensive for the value. The staff was excellent. Restaurant ok. Breakfast had only a limited amount served - no buffet. You had the feeling of being and ATM for the hotel with constant offer of buying extra items. The garden was beautiful.

We rarely write reviews but feel compelled to share what we feel may have been the best accommodation in our entire lives (we’ve travelled to many, many countries). The staff at Wapa Di Ume are genuine, thoughtful, respectful, and kind to the core. One of us in the hospitality industry; if there were a place to train those for a delightful future in hospitality, I would look to Wapa di Ume as the source for the best education. Additionally, the grounds are like no other: full of surprises, immaculate, free of gimmicks, and layered beyond imagination! Kudos to the architects/builders!! The services like massage/tours/airport pick-ups were all top-notch!!!! And, the cuisine at their restaurant is beyond delicious, offering both beautiful representations of their local fare and some international options for those craving a taste back home. Additionally, if you are desiring a tour, an adjustment to your schedule, etc. they are readily eager to help!!! This team at Wapa deserves to be on the stage for a gold medal!! We are so happy that we chose Wapa di Ume for our stay in Ubud. Everything was perfect. The staff is the absolute best and they made all the difference. The resort is beautiful, spa was great and the breakfast and dinners were incredible and delicious! Can’t wait to go back. 100% recommend!
