I never stayed at a themed hotel like this before, but it was a very pleasant stay. Love the outside space on the roof and terrace. The footbath was also a very nice touch. There are so many self-serve free amenities like toiletries, wine, and desserts. For breakfast, you get to choose from 5 options and they bring it up to your room which was nice, but not so convenient with limited dining space in the room, so it was a bit tight. Other than that, the room was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Super cute Glamping style hotel. From the entrance with a pink Xmas tree to their little sample bar of stuff to use for your room, snack bar and then the room itself! The snack bar has coffee, tea, juice, soda, wine and hot cocoa and a fondue with marshmellows. Conveniently located and walkable to just about everything. The room is just like the picture.

We stayed for 5 nights in this lovely love-hotel with a cosy Bali-vibe. The room was wonderful and I especially loved the amount and quality of the products and amenities; everything was provided in the room, and if you needed more, the lobby was full of additional beauty products, snacks, drinks, and even massage chairs - all free of charge. There is no restaurant, so all meals are brought to the room. Breakfast and room service is inexpensive. Desk staff does not speak much English but communicates through Google Translate, which works okay. The roof top terrace and the garden are also very nice.

Camping themed rooms with a more cushioned bed than you usually find in Japan. Amenities, in terms of free drinks, free food, quality and variety of bath and beauty products are excellent. WiFi is strong. Pretty nice view from the rooftop area. Pretty good place to bring your girlfriend. My only complaint is that the shower has a glass wall that is supposed to prevent water from splashing all over the bathroom but it is so narrow that the bathroom floor is going to get pretty wet even if you are careful. Price is a little high, but it's in Shinjuku about 10 minutes walk from the station. I've stayed here twice and will likely return again.

Room was perfect size. TV, Bluetooth in room and bathroom, ‘camping’ style amenities. Big bathtub in a good sized wet/shower room. Separate toilet. Breakfast delivered by preferable time every morning with vegan and gluten free options. Snacks, ice cream, drinks and soup in the lobby. Staff was super nice and they Gave us a gift when we left. Walking distance to main Shinjuku station and all the shopping. Would stay again.

Parking is quite convenient, lots of parking lot surround. The cleaning service needs to be improved. We could find many hairs near the wash basin, and bath-tub after the cleaning service. There are some snacks and drinks for free at the lobby, but usually out of coffee in the morning.

We were really happy with our stay! The hotel was super clean, cozy, and the staff was super helpful. The area is in the night life part of Shinjuku, however the hotel has its only little entrance patio, a side patio garden and even an observation deck on the roof. It was a super cool experience, we would definitely stay there again!

Very interesting hotel! great location, easy access to shopping, restaurants and bars. About 10 mins talk to subway. The best part is the food and amentities provided for free. The soups are super delicious. Feel great whenever coming back to hotel at night, espcially in rainy or cold nights. hot soups made the day! The free staff are wonderful so many things to use. Would definitely stay again!

Just a unique and wonderful experience at Balian resort. Located in a perfect area in Shinjuku, it’s close to everything but just far enough to be quiet. The staff was exceptional. The amenities were amazing. Rooftop terrace, garden for dining, all types of food and personal items for free. It was truly great!

Great vibe overall! Would totally recommend. Also, great food nearby. Fun neighbourhood. Staff very kind and friendly, but I feel bad that they have to listen to the same song on repeat in the lobby all the time. The camping theme was adorable. 10/10

Ein schönes Hotel mit vielen Extras (zB Schokoladenbrunnen abends, Ameneties wie Badesalze, Haarklammer etc., freie Getränke) und sehr freundlichem und bemühtem Personal. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und gut versorgt gefühlt. Die Zimmergröße war insbesondere für Tokio groß, wir hatten glücklicherweise ein Zimmerupgrade. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Couldn’t stay due to it not being in a particularly safe area. Was told not to leave valuables in the room at all when checking in. Also this is a hotel for people to come and go and do their “business” together. If you’re looking for something for more than an hour forget it. Also stains on sheets and hammock…… Requested a refund through wotif and apparently they couldn’t get in touch with the hotel which is hard to believe. So out of pocket over $500 Disappointed

Room was always clean when doing an econ friendly cleaning. The staff is attentive and helps with your needs. Recommend learning some Japanese but they do their best with English too.

Amazing hotel experience from the moment you walk into the lobby, until you get your hotel room itself. This hotel offers many amenities at no additional charge, which really provide a ton of value. The lobby and rooms are very clean and the glamping theme really shines thru in all accessible areas. The deluxe room I stayed in was very comfortable. The room size was comparable to a junior suite in the US. The bathroom was amazing as well! I 10/10 would book Bali An again, if I decide to stay in the Shinjuku area again. Shinjuku is a very nice and walkable district with plenty of shopping, eating and night life to partake in. The entertainment options in the Kobikicho area specifically get a bit more seedy. It doesn’t feel dangerous per se. But the element is there, and you’ll have to pass thru it to get to the hotel. But all in all, Shinjuku is a great place to visit when in Tokyo.

This place was fun and kitschy but The area it was a little too grungy and crazy for my taste. Great amenities, but honestly, too many unnecessary things in the room taking up too much space. Because they offered A lot of the same and tons of other free stuff in the lobby, which was great. But they didn’t need to fill up our room and bathroom with so many things. I had to find ways to put everything out of the way so I had room for my own stuff. I even had to move the hammock. Nice though that it had a microwave and fridge. Just not a lot of space to put our things. No shelves, no closet, etc..

Room was perfect size. TV, Bluetooth in room and bathroom, ‘camping’ style amenities. Big bathtub in a good sized wet/shower room. Separate toilet. Breakfast delivered by preferable time every morning with vegan and gluten free options. Snacks, ice cream, drinks and soup in the lobby. Staff was super nice and they Gave us a gift when we left. Walking distance to main Shinjuku station and all the shopping. Would stay again.

totally amazing hotel!!!! so much free food and drinks 24 hours a day in the lobby and so much accommodation! staff was so incredibly friendly and also at the desk 24 hrs a day. ONLY complaint was the frequent couples stopping in for you know.. and having to hear them. they should really monitor the noise of other guests while they do their private activities and absolutely kick them out if they are disturbing other guests. it was pretty gross to hear.

Amazing hotel experience from the moment you walk into the lobby, until you get your hotel room itself. This hotel offers many amenities at no additional charge, which really provide a ton of value. The lobby and rooms are very clean and the glamping theme really shines thru in all accessible areas. The deluxe room I stayed in was very comfortable. The room size was comparable to a junior suite in the US. The bathroom was amazing as well! I 10/10 would book Bali An again, if I decide to stay in the Shinjuku area again. Shinjuku is a very nice and walkable district with plenty of shopping, eating and night life to partake in. The entertainment options in the Kobikicho area specifically get a bit more seedy. It doesn’t feel dangerous per se. But the element is there, and you’ll have to pass thru it to get to the hotel. But all in all, Shinjuku is a great place to visit when in Tokyo.

Ein schönes Hotel mit vielen Extras (zB Schokoladenbrunnen abends, Ameneties wie Badesalze, Haarklammer etc., freie Getränke) und sehr freundlichem und bemühtem Personal. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und gut versorgt gefühlt. Die Zimmergröße war insbesondere für Tokio groß, wir hatten glücklicherweise ein Zimmerupgrade. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

We stayed for 5 nights in this lovely love-hotel with a cosy Bali-vibe. The room was wonderful and I especially loved the amount and quality of the products and amenities; everything was provided in the room, and if you needed more, the lobby was full of additional beauty products, snacks, drinks, and even massage chairs - all free of charge. There is no restaurant, so all meals are brought to the room. Breakfast and room service is inexpensive. Desk staff does not speak much English but communicates through Google Translate, which works okay. The roof top terrace and the garden are also very nice.

We were really happy with our stay! The hotel was super clean, cozy, and the staff was super helpful. The area is in the night life part of Shinjuku, however the hotel has its only little entrance patio, a side patio garden and even an observation deck on the roof. It was a super cool experience, we would definitely stay there again!

Just a unique and wonderful experience at Balian resort. Located in a perfect area in Shinjuku, it’s close to everything but just far enough to be quiet. The staff was exceptional. Camping themed rooms with a more cushioned bed than you usually find in Japan. Amenities, in terms of free drinks, free food, quality and variety of bath and beauty products are excellent. WiFi is strong. Pretty nice view from the rooftop area. Pretty good place to bring your girlfriend. My only complaint is that the shower has a glass wall that is supposed to prevent water from splashing all over the bathroom but it is so narrow that the bathroom floor is going to get pretty wet even if you are careful. Very interesting hotel! great location, easy access to shopping, restaurants and bars. About 10 mins talk to subway. The best part is the food and amentities provided for free. The soups are super delicious. Feel great whenever coming back to hotel at night, espcially in rainy or cold nights. hot soups made the day! The free staff are wonderful so many things to use. Would definitely stay again!

I never stayed at a themed hotel like this before, but it was a very pleasant stay. Love the outside space on the roof and terrace. The footbath was also a very nice touch. There are so many self-serve free amenities like toiletries, wine, and desserts. For breakfast, you get to choose from 5 options and they bring it up to your room which was nice, but not so convenient with limited dining space in the room, so it was a bit tight. Other than that, the room was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Parking is quite convenient, lots of parking lot surround. The cleaning service needs to be improved. We could find many hairs near the wash basin, and bath-tub after the cleaning service. There are some snacks and drinks for free at the lobby, but usually out of coffee in the morning.

Bali An Glamping was SO CUTE! The lobby and rooms were decked out to look like a campground. It's in a very central location in Shinjuku. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They served a delicious breakfast in our room - you have a choice of Western, Japanese, or Indonesian. We went with the latter and enjoyed it. No complaints!

Our room was really big, especially by Tokyo standards, and we loved having a hammock in our room! The staff were always really helpful and the number of free amenities (bath salts, face masks, cleansers etc) was crazy! We also loved that there were free drinks machines, including wine and highballs, that you could use at any time. Breakfast was brought up to your room - one thing to note, rather than your usual hotel buffet there are 4 different options for breakfast, which can become a little repetitive if you're staying at the hotel for a longer duration. We thought the location was ideal - in the heart of Shinjuku without being overly noisy.

Odadaki kahve ve bakim urunleri cok hosuma gitti. Evet odalar kucuktu ama japonyadaki genel bir sorun, kiyafetlerimi koymakta zorlandim. Onun disinda gayet iyi bir konaklamaydi.

As a retired couple from Australia, this was our first ever Japanese hotel stay. We were very happy with our choice. Check in was smooth, with the staff both helpful and friendly. When language was an issue, Google Translate worked a treat both ways. Our room was well-equipped and comfortable. Great Wi-Fi, very large TV and a very efficient air conditioner. The supplied products (shampoos, moisturisers, etc) were numerous, very generous and of excellent quality. The provided free facilities in the lobby were also very generous, and included coffee, cold drinks and snacks. The included breakfast was simply amazing. We had the #3 which we enjoyed immensely. On the two days that we were there, we definitely weren’t looking for lunch afterwards! Would highly recommend.
