We loved our stay in this lovely little cottage. It was very clean and well taken care of. Jane is a welcoming helpful host! We had very hot weather during our visit and appreciated the very efficient air conditioning after being out all day exploring the Hudson River Valley area. The cottage is convenient to downtown Woodstock and lots of eating places and shops. We hope to return again.Nancy & Wayne

We were so very happy and relaxed staying at the cottage right on the water! Relaxing and beautiful and close to downtown (walking distance). Jane is an exceptional host - very friendly. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, as described. Jane allowed us to keep our bikes in her garage and was available whenever we needed. Highly recommend this property!!

Came to the cottage for some solitude and quiet between jobs. This was just what the doctor ordered. Close enough to town for easy access, but far enough away that it was always quiet and peaceful. Sitting in the chairs on the river was truly amazing. Jane was a fantastic host; would definitely recommend staying here, and would happily come back on my next trip to Woodstock.

This cabin was as advertised - and even better! It appears to be recently renovated which the owners did a great job with. The view and accessibility to the creek and the peaceful retreat it offered was just what we needed. The proximity to the center of Woodstock was also a huge plus. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after tackling the high peaks. We would absolutely stay here again.

Exceeded our expectations! Cottage was absolutely lovely and well appointed. Sitting by the creek’s edge and listening to the sound of the water as it flowed over the rocks was incredibly relaxing. Nature’s tranquilizer!

Where do we start? We wanted something comfortable and peaceful for a short getaway and the Streamside Cottage was beyond our expectations! First off, it was very clean but also so cute and charming. Plenty of space for the two of us. Each morning, we had a peaceful breakfast on the deck and enjoyed the sounds of the creek. Kitchen provided everything we needed (loved that it had a toaster oven). Enjoyed some beautiful sights at Kaaterskill Falls hiking trail close by. Also, walked under a mile to get to town--loved that! If you're considering staying here, don't hesitate. Thank you Jane for sharing your space with us!

Cozy cottage in serene setting minutes from town. We had a wonderful stay, very comfortable space with everything you need and nothing you don’t! Loved having morning coffee and evening cocktails by the peaceful stream.

The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river and then day tripping to grand adventures to hike near the Hudson River Valley, or in the Catskills. Woodstock is just a two minute drive. Good shopping, dining, and there is a main grocery store. We highly recommend this location and this cottage!!! A bonus for us was the additional "host" doodle 😃 as we were missing our own pets. A little ball catch-n-retrieve warms the spirit . Thanks Jane!!

My partner and I had the most lovely stay at Jane's place. As others have said, the pictures don't do the property justice. The property is beautiful, and the space was cleaner than anywhere I've stayed before. We loved being only two minutes away from town and still having a quiet place near the woods. Jane was lovely and we hope to come back again soon!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The cottage was perfect Peaceful stream steps from the cottage. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was located close to everything. Jane was so helpful with excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

Jane’s pristine cottage on a beautiful piece of land in Woodstock was amazing! Everything is described in the listing, excellent access to downtown Woodstock, and a perfectly appointed space for a long weekend. Would recommend to anyone visiting town!

The house was clean, tastefully decorated, and on a beautiful wooded property next to a stream. There were windows everywhere, so I felt like I was surrounded by a beautiful forest. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment to prepare simple meals. The location could not be more perfect. It feels private and quiet and serene, yet is only a few minutes drive to downtown Woodstock. I was close to shopping, restaurants and hiking trails. Jane was a very gracious host and provided me with lots of info about restaurants and other attractions in the area, and was always available for a question or anything I needed. If you need a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location and also want the convenience of being close to town, this is the perfect place.

My sister and I needed a quick getaway from the world and found refuge in this sweet little cottage that is right on the creek. The cottage was pristine, fully eqipped, quiet and tastefully decorated. My communication with the owner, Jane, was "easy breezy". Our favorite part of our stay were the sights and sounds of the water! It was truly magnificent. We came to the cottage a little tired from the pressures of life but left rejuvenated and filled with peace. Our short stay was delightful. We will come back! Thank you Jane!

OVERALL, EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC. IF I WANTED TO BE REAL PICKY...THE KITCHEN WAS SMALL EVENTHOUGH IT HAD ALMOST EVERYTHING AND THE TV WAS IN THE LIVINGROOM ONLY, NONE IN THE BEDROOM. WE WOLD DEFINATELY STAY THERE AGAIN.

Jane’s cottage is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The walk to town does involve a short distance without sidewalk, but there IS plenty of room on the shoulder to be safe, as long as it’s during the day. It’s really not a problem. We took classes at the Ashokan center and did many local hikes. We didn’t want to leave!!!

We were in town for an event at Levon Helm Studios, and because of the schedule for the rest of the week, we only booked the cottage for one night. That said, we both felt that we wished we could stay a while, a long while, like live there. The property is beautiful, and the cottage is immaculate and Jane has exceptional taste in how the cottage was built, and decorated. It is a beautiful, inviting space, If you are looking for a space to feel at peace with the world, this is it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jane's cottage. Jane made booking and check-in a smooth process. The cottage was very clean and supplied with all the amenities one would need. We loved listening to the creek through the screen door. One night we walked to the Millstream Tavern for a drink and then across the street to Cucina for dinner. Book now and enjoy Jane's lovely cottage.

The property was beautiful and secluded providing the peaceful getaway from the city that we needed. The host is also incredibly friendly and provided the easiest check in/out process I’ve seen. Loved Woodstock!

The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river and then day tripping to grand adventures to hike near the Hudson River Valley, or in the Catskills. Woodstock is just a two minute drive. Good shopping, dining, and there is a main grocery store. We highly recommend this location and this cottage!!! A bonus for us was the additional "host" doodle 😃 as we were missing our own pets. A little ball catch-n-retrieve warms the spirit . Thanks Jane!!

We were visited by 2 deer each evening and there is a resident ground hog which we enjoyed, Being able to walk to town is a stretch of the truth as the road is busy with no walking path however it is a very short ride. We had 2 good meals in Allason restaurant and caffe coffee shop is superb. I just wish we had a king size bed and a bit larger of a shower. All in all a very nice cottage with a lovely stream and a lot of tranquility.

This cabin was as advertised - and even better! It appears to be recently renovated which the owners did a great job with. The view and accessibility to the creek and the peaceful retreat it offered was just what we needed. The proximity to the center of Woodstock was also a huge plus. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after tackling the high peaks. We would absolutely stay here again.

Jane’s cottage is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The walk to town does involve a short distance without sidewalk, but there IS plenty of room on the shoulder to be safe, as long as it’s during the day. It’s really not a problem. We took classes at the Ashokan center and did many local hikes. We didn’t want to leave!!!

Great stay. Very close and convenient to Tinker St and Levon Helm Studios (which is what brought us to the area this time). The cottage had everything we needed and the owner, Jane, is very kind and thoughtful. It is quiet. The stream is right out the back door (just as pictured).

Where do we start? We wanted something comfortable and peaceful for a short getaway and the Streamside Cottage was beyond our expectations! First off, it was very clean but also so cute and charming. Plenty of space for the two of us. Each morning, we had a peaceful breakfast on the deck and enjoyed the sounds of the creek. Kitchen provided everything we needed (loved that it had a toaster oven). Enjoyed some beautiful sights at Kaaterskill Falls hiking trail close by. Also, walked under a mile to get to town--loved that! If you're considering staying here, don't hesitate. Thank you Jane for sharing your space with us!

We had a wonderful time at this comfy cottage by the water. Just a few minutes from tow but totally peaceful and laid back. Cottage lives up to its fine reviews. We were lucky to have unusually warm weather so we could enjoy the outside more than we expected for November.

Totally delightful! This is a fantastic property. We came to attend two nights of music at Levon Helm Studios, which is just down the road. While the property is close to all that the village of Woodstock has to offer visitors, I can easily see just staying at the cabin and enjoying the beauty of the stream and woods. It's charming, immaculate, and I can't wait to return!

The backyard is beautiful- the pics don't to it justice. It was amazing to wake up and open the door to the backyard to hear the rushing water of the creek. Jane (host) left binoculars in the house, so my fiancé and I were able to better see the animals. I actually saw a beaver for the first time ever! Space was clean, spacious and bright. Jane was very communicative and available if we had questions. Would love to stay here again, and I highly recommend it to others.

The bedroom in particular was so special - windows on 3 sides with green all around, and a slider to the back and the sounds of the rushing mill stream. There was also a comfy loveseat in the bedroom to further enjoy the surroundings. It is walkable to the village where there is a lot of fun shopping and wonderful dining. I will absolutely return!
