Brookside Retreat: Patio Streamside, Cheminée, Writer's Studio, Walk to Village Green!

Accomodations we do clean and comfortable and the host was very responsive and accommodating

We really enjoyed our stay here! We especially appreciated being right by the creek and hearing the water, and sitting out on the lovely patio. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Being so close to town but also in a secluded neighborhood with lots of trees was also very nice. While the yard is fenced in, the mesh fencing facing the creekside is flimsy and our dog could’ve easily escaped - so we monitored her closely and tried to block off the area under the gate that was most exposed. Also, worth noting that the patio has a short rock enclosure but is not fenced off; so we decided to keep our dog on a tether when sitting out there, and also blocked off the entrances to the patio from the yard. Overall we had a great time and it’s a really nice home and location, and Jill made the reservation and check-in process very easy.

Perfectly located getaway house in the heart of Woodstock. The hosts were excellent and the house was exactly what we expected. Highly recommend :)

This was my second visit to Brookside and I returned for a reason. There's not one thing the host has not thought of in way of conveniences. The location is spot on. I will return to and will surely recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Brook Cottage is a perfect place for a family, couples or friends to stay and enjoy Woodstock. A three minute walk to the village green and center of town, the suit street and neighborhood is so close to everything yet offers complete serenity. From the well supplied kitchen and spacious living areas and large outdoor spaces. I think this place has everything one would need for their stay. We feel more and more at home every time we come to town and Judy and her team make it even better with their attention to every detail and quick responses. This is our second stay at one of their properties and we will definitely seek them out for our next trip up.
