We really enjoyed our stay here! The home was equipped with everything we needed and was a peaceful getaway for our trip. We enjoyed hiking the farm, seeing the animals, and rocking on the porch. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay; even with a 3 month old baby we were able to decompress and enjoy ourselves. We had zero issues with our stay; the cabin and property were amazing. Best part for us was once we got the little one down just relaxing in the hottub. We would certainly do it again.

What an absolutely beautiful place! We loved our stay- exploring the hills, interacting with the animals on the farm, and stargazing from the hot tub were among the highlights of our trip to western North Carolina. The place was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. We can’t wait to make another trip to the mountains, and we’ve found our favorite place to stay!

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. It was incredibly peaceful. They have fiber internet, 30x30Mbps which was great for streaming. We fed the donkeys each morning apples and carrots. Also fed the pigs. They have plenty of fresh eggs you can get as well. The owner, Harold, stopped and introduced himself the morning after we arrived and had us visit with the donkeys. The cabin was immaculate, one of the cleaned Vrbo's we've ever had. Only complaint was the queen sized bed in the loft was a little small and uncomfortable, but it was certainly acceptable all things considered. We would absolutely stay again.

My family and I stayed here at the Still Rock Farms and we had the best experience. My two kids (6 & 16) enjoyed roaming the area and checking out the farm animals. We collectively agree that the donkeys, Winnie & Eyore were our favorite part of our visit. The view from the room on the top floor is breathtaking and the cabin itself was so very cozy. You can climb the mountain or, relax and take in the views from the balcony or hot tub on your down time. Aside from the wonderful views and amenities(hot tub, grill, fresh eggs from the hens!) the hospitality is what made our stay as enjoyable as can be. The owner was responsive and tentative when we had questions and was so kind. He took time to chat with us about things we may need during our stay and even told us some historic information about the property. Not only do we recommended staying here, but we plan to stay here again for our next visit to NC. P.s. we miss it all already

We love still rock farms! This was our second time here. Our 2 daughters love the donkeys and checking the chicken coop every day for eggs. Howard was so kind to show and educate our daughters several things on the farm, from giving Bluebell the cow medicine to letting them get close with the donkeys. We felt totally safe letting the girls just go roam around while we read books on the porch… but also enjoyed hiking around the farm as well. It’s beautiful, and very clean. It’s the perfect cabin for our family of four. Can’t wait to come back again!

We loved our stay at the farm. It was exactly what we were looking for….Close enough to Asheville activities but far enough away to just relax and enjoy the peace and beauty. Our girls (7&5) loved the animals…feeding the donkeys, pigs, and collecting eggs from the chicken coop every morning. The cabin and property were great and had everything we needed. The owner Harold was very nice, offering us the history of the farm and answering all the questions my girls threw at him. We’ll be back!

The property is in great condition and very accessible. Having animals all around the property was an unforgettable experience for our son. The paths and trails all around the property were perfect for hiking and made for some great pictures. There was something for everyone in our family. Harold and Kim's hospitality was incredible. This was a great experience and we hope to be back soon.

This property was the best we’ve booked in years. The host is awesome. The property is perfect. The farm animals are great for the kids and adults too. The fresh eggs every morning were an added bonus. This is one of those places you don’t want to leave. We will be back!

This was our mini honeymoon trip and we loved it! The animals were amazing and the owners were very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub and the cabin was very cozy. We did the mountain trails and the views were spectacular! We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful place-very clean, gorgeous views!! We had a wonderful time in the quiet, serene atmosphere. We hope to be back and bring the kids next time!! We loved collecting eggs for breakfast and saying hi to the donkeys every ride in.

If you want to get away for some solitude, this is the place. So peaceful and relaxing, away from it all yet not too far if you want to explore. Star gazing, relaxing on the porch, it was wonderful.

The cabin was just wonderful, we had a perfect 2 night getaway and are looking forward to coming back! The hosts Harold and Kim were very welcoming (as were Winnie and Eyeore).

To say my family loved this cabin was an understatement. This cabin was nessled in the mountains, with great views all around and a quite, peaceful moutain vibe. The farm animals made the trip for my kids, who loved to feed them daily. We also took several day trips to Asheville and Wolf Ridge for experiences, which was all with a 1/2 hour of the cabin. The cabin was well outfitted and had personal touches that made it feel like home. From the time you set foot on the property, you know your going to have a great experience that you won't regret and you won't soon forget.

Property is fantastic with a true farm experience with majestic views of nearby mountains. Harold, the host was extremely diligent in making sure we had a great experience and also gave us a quick overview of the history behind this 150+ year old farm and gave some great recommendations of things to do around here. Very serene location and it has all the amenities one would expect. Would definitely book here again.

We collectively agree that the donkeys, Winnie & Eyore were our favorite part of our visit. The view from the room on the top floor is breathtaking and the cabin itself was so very cozy. You can climb the mountain or, relax and take in the views from the balcony or hot tub on your down time. Aside from the wonderful views and amenities(hot tub, grill, fresh eggs from the hens!) the hospitality is what made our stay as enjoyable as can be. The owner was responsive and tentative when we had questions and was so kind. He took time to chat with us about things we may need during our stay and even told us some historic information about the property. Not only do we recommended staying here, but we plan to stay here again for our next visit to NC. P.s. we miss it all already

The cabin was just wonderful, we had a perfect 2 night getaway and are looking forward to coming back! The hosts Harold and Kim were very welcoming (as were Winnie and Eyeore).

We love still rock farms! This was our second time here. Our 2 daughters love the donkeys and checking the chicken coop every day for eggs. Howard was so kind to show and educate our daughters several things on the farm, from giving Bluebell the cow medicine to letting them get close with the donkeys. We felt totally safe letting the girls just go roam around while we read books on the porch… but also enjoyed hiking around the farm as well. It’s beautiful, and very clean. It’s the perfect cabin for our family of four. Can’t wait to come back again!

We loved our stay at the farm. It was exactly what we were looking for….Close enough to Asheville activities but far enough away to just relax and enjoy the peace and beauty. Our girls (7&5) loved the animals…feeding the donkeys, pigs, and collecting eggs from the chicken coop every morning. The cabin and property were great and had everything we needed. The owner Harold was very nice, offering us the history of the farm and answering all the questions my girls threw at him. We’ll be back!

The property is in great condition and very accessible. Having animals all around the property was an unforgettable experience for our son. The paths and trails all around the property were perfect for hiking and made for some great pictures. There was something for everyone in our family. Harold and Kim's hospitality was incredible. This was a great experience and we hope to be back soon.

This place is an amazing choice when picking somewhere in Madison County to get away. The beautiful landscape, friendly owners, and fun animals just make the place that much better. Enjoy seclusion, hiking, stargazing, and quality time with friends or family. We will definitely be back!

If you want to get away for some solitude, this is the place. So peaceful and relaxing, away from it all yet not too far if you want to explore. Star gazing, relaxing on the porch, it was wonderful.

To say my family loved this cabin was an understatement. This cabin was nessled in the mountains, with great views all around and a quite, peaceful moutain vibe. The farm animals made the trip for my kids, who loved to feed them daily. We also took several day trips to Asheville and Wolf Ridge for experiences, which was all with a 1/2 hour of the cabin. The cabin was well outfitted and had personal touches that made it feel like home. From the time you set foot on the property, you know your going to have a great experience that you won't regret and you won't soon forget.

Great spot to get away. I highly recommend this place if you like the farm life. Plenty of cows, chickens also included are daily fresh eggs, pigs, and even a baby donkey. The house was far enough away so the animals didn't bother you but close enough to feed everyday. Especially the donkeys, they loved apples and carrots. Definitely plan to return.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. It was incredibly peaceful. They have fiber internet, 30x30Mbps which was great for streaming. We fed the donkeys each morning apples and carrots. Also fed the pigs. They have plenty of fresh eggs you can get as well. The owner, Harold, stopped and introduced himself the morning after we arrived and had us visit with the donkeys. The cabin was immaculate, one of the cleaned Vrbo's we've ever had. Only complaint was the queen sized bed in the loft was a little small and uncomfortable, but it was certainly acceptable all things considered. We would absolutely stay again.

This stay truly exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for beautiful mountain views, THIS is the place to stay! The pictures can't do it justice. The fact that it's on a farm makes this such a unique memorable experience. We got to watch cows graze every day, feed pet and play with the donkeys, collect eggs for breakfast, and more! Bring Binoculars and sit on the screened in porch for endless awesome views of the wildlife around you. It's a beautiful and quick drive to Asheville and countless opportunities for hikes and waterfalls. It's extremely private as well. And don't get me started on the amazing hot tub! This was the perfect stay for us!
