Our family was stayed in 5 cabins around Medicine park for our annual get together. Harper’s Landing is always a favorite place to stay because it’s located on a little lake for fishing and kayaking and the cabinet itself is very very nice! The King bed is very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the big screened in porch. We’ll be back next year for sure again..

Beautiful cabin and very quiet and peaceful. The only thing was there wasn’t enough water to swim or use the kayaks. We enjoyed the chickens running around the yard. I felt like I was at home when I heard the chickens. I would recommend and stay there again.

Property was nice, clean and quiet. Unfortunately the water level was not 2ft it was 2 inch and was unable to use paddle boat it was also full of algae. Is a great area but was looking forward to the dock and fishing and paddle boat which the water level was not deep enough. I know there is area lake close i could of go to but rented it for the convenience.

The property is well stocked and provides all you need for your stay. We brought our dogs and loved the proximity to the owners small variety of farm animals. The pig, dog, and chickens provided entertainment for us and the dogs. We loved how it was along the river but not in the middle of the all the traffic. You can get in the water from the dock and float down to the main swim area and walk the town to check out vendors. We loved driving Mt. Scott and driving out to the wildlife refuge for sunset-a definite must see to spot elk, buffalo, and longhorns. Coming home after a long day in the sun was awesome because the cabin provides such nice amenities and the bathroom is just perfect! You have to check this spot out.

This a great place to stay for an escape to Medicine Park & the Wichita Mountains. It's a short drive into the restaurants of Medicine Park, but far enough away to not be bothered by traffic noise. It's about as close as you can get to the Wichita Mountains wildlife refuge. The place if very nice and clean. The owners are awesome. It's very peaceful to sit on the dock.

Harper's Landing was full of character. It was so nice and cozy, it felt like home. We really enjoyed our stay. We all loved the river out back, fishing and kayaking was fun. At night we loved making smores out at the firepit. The host are so kind and make sure you have everything you need during your stay. We especially loved the welcome gift of wine and eggs. It was such a nice touch. We definitely would recommend and we hope to come back again soon.

We came from OKC to have a quiet and enjoyable weekend full of good food, beautiful scenery, and hiking and we got exactly what we wanted. To make it even better, the home was beautiful, well kept, clean and welcoming. We would love to come back!

Excellent and professional interior decoration and accomidation. Outside: a work in progress. I only mention the negatives to help the owners recognize 3 faults: 1 ) Icemaker frozen/not-functional. 2) No lighter for outdoor grill 3) Oven was not clened, and the baking pan was not cleaned - only used it because I could not use the outside gcrill.

This property is incredibly well designed for its size. Inside feels way bigger from the vaulted ceiling. Tim and Sondra definitely know how to please there guests. We have stayed in a lot of Vrbo properties, this is at the top. Very relaxing and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back.

I will be searching for any reason to visit Oklahoma again only for me to revisit this cabin. Or maybe this cabin is the only reason I need!?! We booked this cabin for my son’s basic training graduation. After reading reviews of other local rentals I was scared (my family is very picky) Luckily, This cabin did not disappoint!!! It was extremely comfy and relaxing. The added extra was the hosts provided close to everything! Topping it off with Toby the smiling dog, Kevin the sweet pig, and the hens laying fresh eggs…. However what we enjoyed most was watching road runners play up the creek while we sat eating our brunch. It was hard to leave!!! Thank you for all your hospitality. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of this small historical town

Beautiful location and property. Loved the decor and amenities. Had everything we needed. It was a rainy weelend, and we used the umbrellas by the door. Would have loved to use the dock access for fishing (brought poles), but thunderstorms prevented that. Great weekend wedding (even with the rain). We would stay here again!

This place is amazing. I spent the weekend here with my fiancé and dog. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil and piece of cookware you should need. The screened in porch is perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning or a beer or glass of wine in the afternoon. The bathroom is huge and the walk-in shower is great after a long day of hiking. The living room is comfortable and there’s every streaming service you might need on the tv including cable. Mount Scott is about a 5 minute drive and there are dozens of beautiful hiking trails within 30 minutes of the front door. We plan on booking this place next time we visit the refuge and will probably do an extra day just to have more time to hang out in the house. The Holts are amazing hosts and provided everything we needed to have a wonderful weekend.

This stay is attached to the owners property, however is very private and peaceful. The home is very well laid out and well stocked. There are a lot of interesting books for reading and a number of interesting antique items for your enjoyment. There is a screened in porch that is a perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee. The bed is very comfortable and there is a sofa bed in the living area as well. The bathroom is quite large with a very nice shower. Would definitely stay here again.

A very beautiful house. Comfy bed, great well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom and comfy living room with a fireplace. It is close to downtown without the crowd. They have a sweet pot belly pig, chickens, dogs and a very friendly cat. The property would be on the water except the dam broke this spring. It will be replaced! The hosts are right next door and are a lovely couple. We highly recommend this location.The Old Plantation has awesome food. Nice Ice Baby is a fun bar with good drinks. The pizza place on the other side of the fire department makes good pizzas. Tu Familia Mexican has good food. We really enjoyed the street corn.

This is a wonderful vacation rental. It was clean, spacious and very well stocked. Sondra and Tim are wonderful hosts. They quickly answered any questions. We are birdwatchers. This is right next to the Wichita Mountains NWR which was good for birding. It’s also close to Medicine Park with nice restaurants. This is a really great rental in a nice location.

The house is gorgeous. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, as are their pets. We brought our 3 dogs. This was the puppy's first big trip and his stomach was not happy. I asked about a laundromat and she offered to wash the dog blankets for us. That was so sweet of her. We appreciated it so much, the dogs did too. The bathroom is is awesome! The enclosed porch was a great way to relax at the end of the day. The provided snacks and farm fresh eggs were a super nice gesture. We had a wonderful time during our stay at Harper’s Landing. The Holt’s are amazing hosts and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, just a few minutes from the Wichita wildlife preserve and a short drive to the charming town. We took a fun hike to the Latonka dam, the trail was just a maybe 600 ft from our door. If you are planning a visit to Medicine Park/Wichita Wildlife Preserve, you won’t go wrong booking your stay here. Thanks for everything!

The little place isn’t so little, I mean they go way beyond hospitality, bottled water, snacks, cokes, anything you would need in the kitchen and bathroom if you happen to forget something, if we ever go back we will stay there again! Thank you host so much!

We had a great time staying at Harper’s Landing. It was lovely inside and had everything we needed. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. It’s right on the river. We really enjoyed walking around the nearby Lake Elmer Thomas. It’s also very close to the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge which has many awesome trails to explore and wild buffalo to see.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Harper’s Landing. The Holt’s are amazing hosts and had everything we needed for our stay. The three of us served at Ft.Sill 41 years ago and decided to get together. We had a blast! The cottage was perfect for the three of us and was close to Ft.Sill, Medicine Park and Mount Scott. We wish we had more time as fishing from the dock would have been fun. Thanks so much for the awesome accommodations. Tim, Greg and Jimmy.

My husband and I had a quick getaway in Medicine Park to do some hiking in the Wichita Mountains. This property was perfect for us! Close to the Refuge, relaxing spot on the water. It was too cold still to use the paddle boat or kayak that the host offered but I would love to come back to do that. The host had waters, snacks, coffee, even extra toiletries available for guests, which was very nice. The property was clean and quiet. The only thing to note is that one of the neighbors next door has a bit of a run down situation. That’s part of being in Medicine Park, so didn’t bother us, but if you didn’t know what to expect it may give someone pause so I mention it. Overall a great place to stay in Medicine Park!

This a great place to stay for an escape to Medicine Park & the Wichita Mountains. It's a short drive into the restaurants of Medicine Park, but far enough away to not be bothered by traffic noise. It's about as close as you can get to the Wichita Mountains wildlife refuge. The place if very nice and clean. The owners are awesome. It's very peaceful to sit on the dock.

The house is gorgeous. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, as are their pets. We brought our 3 dogs. This was the puppy's first big trip and his stomach was not happy. I asked about a laundromat and she offered to wash the dog blankets for us. That was so sweet of her. We appreciated it so much, the dogs did too. The bathroom is is awesome! The enclosed porch was a great way to relax at the end of the day. The provided snacks and farm fresh eggs were a super nice gesture. Our first little getaway since pur daughter was born. We had a great time, even our dogs had a blast. So close to town and trails. Owner gifted us with wine and jam!! Communication was timely. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect perfect location! It was clean and packed with the essentia amenities including a fridge full of drinks and a basket of goodies. We got to meet the owners who were very kind and we even got to meet Mr. Kevin bacon the pig, he is absolutely adorable and friendly. We will definitely be back!.

Perfect time of the year to see wildflowers and enjoy the Wichita Wildlife Refuge and all its hiking trails. This lovely guesthouse had everything. The views were lovely, the host left snacks, drinks, and even fresh eggs. The screened porch was especially nice. Hikes from the house were just beautiful. Medicine Park was lots of fun too with great places to explore.

A very beautiful house. Comfy bed, great well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom and comfy living room with a fireplace. It is close to downtown without the crowd. They have a sweet pot belly pig, chickens, dogs and a very friendly cat. The property would be on the water except the dam broke this spring. It will be replaced! The hosts are right next door and are a lovely couple. We highly recommend this location.The Old Plantation has awesome food. Nice Ice Baby is a fun bar with good drinks. The pizza place on the other side of the fire department makes good pizzas. Tu Familia Mexican has good food. We really enjoyed the street corn.

Harper's Landing is so close to all the activities for hiking, Medicine Park, and Mt. Scott but also provides an amazing spot to relax and unwind. I thoroughly enjoyed having the screened in porch to provide a space without getting bit by the bugs. The host is so nice and accommodating.

Everything about the cabin was amazing- beautiful decor, including some antiques, screened-in porch overlooking a small stream, songs provided by birds in the surrounding shade trees, and a fully stocked kitchen (even spices) and bathroom (with plush towels & washcloths), big shower with bench seat and dual showerheads, and the bathroom is almost as big as the bedroom. Easy short driving distance to Medicine Park restaurants and swimming or fishing. We're old (husband and I are both 75) but the cabin would also be great for kids or young families. We highly recommend Harper's Landing. It provided an ideal getaway.
