Great location moments from Dam Square. Luggage room available to store belongings before and after your stay which was appreciated Room was ok but a bit dated. Suited its purpose. Main downside was receptionist refusing to allow someone assisting with my bags to come up to my room - stating 'no guests allowed'. Very bizarre as i clearly explained this person wasnt staying but simply helping me. Have never encountered this in any other hotel i have stayed in. Not the most friendliest of welcome and the policy seems a bit ridiculous

Picture of room on website is not accurate, the room is much smaller. The elevator was broken the entire stay (4 nights). The carpet is filthy dirty. The drapes in the room had mold because the window leaks water every morning. Website says it’s a non-smoking hotel and there are signs that say “No smoking” but there was a constant smell of cigarettes and marijuana in the hallways. Location was convenient but not a big enough positive to choose to stay here again. I can not recommend this hotel.

Great location close to many attractions. No frills place to stay. Elevator inoperable for half of our stay. Linens changed every day, but floors never cleaned. Price was appropriate for this hotel. Located on a major street, so if you want to sleep at night, dont get a room overlooking the front of hotel.

Quarto estremamente pequeno, onde tem um armario sem nenhuma gaveta, banheiro pequeno... e alem do más no primeiro dia de estadia, quebrou o elevador e meu quarto era no sexto andar, tive que ficar subindo e descendo e até com as malas.

We stayed here as 3 couples, we had 3 small double rooms, they were snug but very comfortable, clean and warm. It was within walk of all the local attractions. Easy to check in and out, they also have a room to store luggage. Overall great value for money

It was unexpected good, the personal was really kind and helpful and the free coffee and tee appreciated. The location is amazing just 2 min walking from madam tausau (the wax museum). The room service was very good also. Everyday new towels and toilet paper made sheets and even little details that would have gotten unnoticed. In my room (I think it was 315) there was a little bit of water entering through the window, but it really didn’t bother me personally (so little I even forgot to tell the staff). You can buy tickets and even get coupons for attraction at the lobby which is practical also. The 24/7 front desk is really cool too if you are planning on going out at night.

God beliggenhed midt i det hele og tæt på offentlig transport. Hotellet var slidt og flere ting virkede ikke, bl.a. elevator og vi skulle derfor bære vores bagage op på 2 sal. De øvrige gæster røg på værelserne ved siden af os, og personalet fik bedt dem stoppe men tog let på det. Rengøringen var ikke i top, men ok.

Great hotel for the price. Your room gets cleaned everyday, there is an elevator which is very handy! After 6pm you can only access the rooms with your key card so extra security gives you peace of mind. The beds aren't very comfy but apart from that a really great hotel

I would have skipped this hotel had I known what I was getting when I booked it. In my room I found someone else’s socks that had been left and the place did not feel like it was very clean. The carpets had stains through the property, there were doors with broken glass half bolted shut and an elevator with busted hand rails. Found all the “fresh” on the floor for the next day, gross. There are 100’s of hotels here and I would go elsewhere.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and I think I only have one positive about this hotel. The location. In great walking distance of everything and good transport links. However… The cleanliness in the room was not ideal. Ripped towels (they did bring clean towels daily however), marks on the lamp shade, dirty toilet brush, mould around the window and wall, loose wires, and a hole in the wall showing wires. On our last night before checkout, I had noticed when the bottom sheet of the bed came loose, there was a big brown stain on the mattress. Granted, I should have checked the bed when we first got in the room, but still, you don’t really expect it to be in that state, and the bed sheets were clean! We decided to just fit the sheet back and deal with it for one last night, as it was quite late at this point, and we would be leaving in the morning. It wasn’t until the morning, we had noticed we both had bites/ red lumps and rash on our ankles/ legs. Obviously we both thought the worst… bed bugs! I didn’t fully inspect the bed, as all I wanted to do was get out of there! But I put two and two together. When we went down to checkout, I complained to reception about it, but they didn’t seem too shocked/ bothered by it. Safe to say I won’t be staying here again. I did check reviews before booking and but nothing seemed to be particularly bad. It wasn’t really a cheap hotel either!

Dirty interior, broken lift, uncomfortable beds that split apart, uncomfortable pillows and blankets, loud noise

Bed had lots of pilling balls and quite uncomfortable. Thankfully I had 2 singles so I slept on top of the quilt of my other bed. Room was ok. But dusty in places and need of some deeper cleaning but it was ok. Great location and everything worked. Nice staff too. So yeah just need to do more thorough cleaning

***BEWARE BED BUGS DAMAGE TO HEALTH*** The most awful hotel. If could give less than 1 start definitely would. In short: - stayed at the hotel December 2024 - ridden with bed bugs - facilities outdated, dirty, needs major maintenance - no sound isolation, can hear everything outside the hotel and in hotel lobby as if it’s happening in the room - bed bugs caused severe damage to health, hotel refused to fully refund and apologise to injured party even when provided physical proof of bed bugs and pictures of bed bugs/ injuries caused by them. This has happened before in the hotel. Manager uncontactable, hotel receptionists take the brunt of it all. Had to check out early holiday ruined DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL AS IT IS UNSAFE

The room was not like the pictures upon our arrival. It was full of mould so we left straight away and went and booked another hotel. I would like to get my money back.

Oda temiz degildi. çarşaflar lekeliydi temiz degildi. Klima düzgün çalışmıyordu. Lokasyonu iyi ama fiyatını asla haketmiyor şehir vergisiyle beraber ödenen paraya çok daha düzgün bir yer bulunabilir. Asla önermiyorum

El lugar está bien ubicado, casi enfrente hay una estación de metro y pasa el tranvía, la recepción es amplia, pero los cuartos son diminutos, la limpieza si deja mucho qué desear. Al llegar a la habitación había un olor fuerte a humedad y no funcionaban bien las luces, por lo que era un ambiente oscuro. Las toallas tenían manchas (ya permanentes) y se veían viejas y olían raro. La cama era comoda, pero se podían ver manchas en algunos lados. Buscaría otra opción en caso de regresar.

Dear Expedia Customer Support, I am writing to formally request a refund for my stay at Cordial Hotel, as the conditions of the room fell far below even the most basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety. Despite the hotel's positive reviews and convenient location, my experience was unacceptable and has caused me significant inconvenience and additional expenses. I was assigned Room 104, which the receptionist described as a “nice room.” However, the following issues were immediately apparent: Mold Smell in the Bathroom: The bathroom emitted a strong odor of mold, making it unpleasant and unsanitary to use. Non-Functional Light Fixtures: The light fixture on the left side of the double bed was not working, reducing the room's functionality and comfort. Uncomfortable Bedding: The mattress pad shifted throughout the night, and the pillows were so uncomfortable that I had to use my neck pillow to sleep. Bed Bug Infestation: The most egregious issue, however, was the presence of bed bugs in the room. Unfortunately, by the end of my stay, I suffered from severe bed bug bites all over my body and face. These bites became infected, requiring unexpected medical treatment. The pain and discomfort disrupted my trip, and I incurred additional medical expenses due to this issue. Showers don’t have any water stopper, so water will spill everywhere (probably causing mold). I was woken up by staff loudly banging on my door on two separate occasions - when I failed to open (as I was sleeping), they just kept banging on the door. Hotel should provide “do not disturb” door hangers. I woke up with insect bites on my ear and jawline one morning - did not find bed bugs, but quite concerning nonetheless. It is very well located, and reasonably priced, but unfortunately lacks in cleanliness.

The room was very small, which isn't inherently bad considering the price; I did have a different expectation from the photos though. The bed was nice and clean, and the room felt unique to most other hotels I've visited.

My stay was very good, the room is small, but very clean. It's good, but the window faced the street, it seemed like the window was open and there was someone inside the room talking because it was very noisy and there were people in the hallway where I was who were knocking on the door all night, so it was a very noisy night. It's a lot of noise there, it's not quiet enough to sleep at night in the early hours of the morning, it's a lot of noise..

The staff were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay wasn’t as great. The rooms were extremely small, the bed was very uncomfortable and you could hear every noise from the room next door.

Great location, room was small but as expected and perfect for what we needed. Unfortunately the air con didn’t work and was unable to open the window so it was extremely hot during the night. Phone wasn’t working and was off the wall and no fridge in the room. The hotel is in need of some updating but can’t fault the location

Great location with so much to walk to nearby. No AC in the room and it is in a busy area so it was loud on the weekend. Room was small and very expensive but I was told it was because there was a big event at the expo center nearby. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Looking out the window unfortunately other guests had thrown a bunch of trash on the ledge below the window which would be nice if it could be cleaned up but it looks like it would ve hard to get to. Overall I'd recommend it.

Central and is within easy walking distance of all of the main areas of central Amsterdam. Opposite a Metro Line and a short walk from the Central Station. No breakfast - but a selection of coffee shops nearby. Comfortable bed and decent bathroom. surprisingly quiet! Some rooms have no windows - beware of that.

Hotel is in a great location and makes walking around Amsterdam super easy! 10 minute walk from centraal station too. Staff were lovely, although housekeeping arrived at 10am both days so had to be mindful about being up and out! Our room was small but manageable as we only slept in there, shower good, towels provided and wardrobe. Unfortunately, I had a personal item stolen from the room, I had it on the first night and it was there the next morning but after being out for the day the item was gone. We searched high and low for this and it was not inside the room. Whilst searching for this, we did find some cleanliness problems, including black mould, lots of dust, and the worst of all, opened empty condom wrappers under the bed. I appreciate that under the bed may not be checked but not a pleasant thing to find. Overall, I would say this hotel is ok if you are only planning on spending the nights there. Despite the cleanliness problems, we would return as it was convenient.

Nem indtjekning, fint værelse, god seng, venligt personale og placeret helt inde mit i byen. Det eneste minus var at vi kom i bil og vi ankom kl 21, og det var desværre for sent at bruge deres parkering service og det stod desværre ingen steder.

The staff was polite BUT there was some complains from me and 4 other guests and every one wanted somw clear answers and the man in the reception tried to answer but it doesnt help when the receptionist says its outside his place to help out and Only the manager can answer and deal with the questions/complains. The manager NEVER showed up, infact the receptionist looked very stressed and even admitted that the manager/owner never answers calls or shows up when he is needed. He Only wants to be contacted by mail. I said that is not fair to the receptionist or me as a cumstomer when the receptionist admits its outside his place to make some decitions then the manager should ANSWER asap. I thought I had experienced some bad service and hotels. But honestly this one takes the price. And about the price, it costs alot more than What it is worth. Examples of my dissapointment was: I had to politiskt ask the cleaning staff to be a ”little” more calm when they run back and worth in the corridor early in the morning ”talking” to eachother. I had to ask for cleaning and change of bedsheets everyday and they always came late. Some of the cleaning staff couldnt speak english so it was a night mare trying to tell them the cleaning was not done or there was towels, toiletpapers or/and things like the garbage can was not taken. Twice I took the plastic bag from the garbage can and trowed it myself.

Staff is nice, hotel is run down (stained mattresses, bathroom sink and shower doors missing parts.) It’s cheaply priced for a reason. Location is excellent-close to public transit stations, lots of shops and restaurants close) Front desk staff is courteous and helpful.

The hotel room was spacious enough for two. We would have preferred more towels and pillows but aside from that it was very nice. It’s pretty central so close to a lot of things we wanted to do/see. The only negative would be when I asked someone at the front desk for help booking Van Gogh tickets he was very dismissive, saying that despite time-slots being available online there would be none at such short notice, he even said he checked and that he was correct. Luckily I sought advice from people online and we did manage to book same day tickets without his help.

Good hotel for a couple of days. Location is great, walking distance to most attractions. Rossini the front desk attendant at our check in was extremely nice and very helpful. He made us feel very welcome.

Staff was excellent. Room was adequate. Central location and right by train station. Great place to stay if you’ll just be there to sleep.

This place is such a terrible hotel. The state of it was one thing but the staff rudeness was another. Especially by the tall Eastern European man with glasses. And the Egyptian one too. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Only good thing was the location and maybe the air on however everything else was a nightmare and I really had to save my sleep for my return back to the uk!

Great Location, Friendly Staff, but Small Rooms I recently stayed at this hotel in Amsterdam and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic—conveniently situated near key attractions and easy access to public transport. The hotel was clean, and the reception staff were incredibly nice and helpful throughout my stay. However, I found the room to be quite small, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. Additionally, there was no kettle or facilities to make tea or coffee in the room, which was a bit of an inconvenience. If you're looking for a well-located, clean hotel, this is a good option, but be prepared for limited space in the rooms.

The property location is second to none…excellent, getting around it’s easy, nice bars and restaurants right opposite, trams stop just a few yards away… overall it’s a good hotel for the money… however, there were a couple of issues with our stayed there…1) they charged me €24,50 per person in tax (can you explain as to why they charged us this amount of money… when I bought the package, I don’t remember reading about that extra charge…2) I spoke to them about the TV in the room not working, it fell on deaf ears…they never came into the room to checked it…3) in our little card with the key in it, it says “Breakfast from 7am to 10am, it turned out that they don’t do Breakfast, just Tea and from a machine around the reception area…will we ever go back to that hotel…I say Yes!

As accommodation goes in Amsterdam, this is one of the better ones. Location is great. Room is modern, but there are signs of wear & tear. However, its clean and cleaners call daily. There was no 'not today' sign if you didn't want your room cleaned, so if you're not it, it will be done when you come back, whether you wanted it or not. The rooms are small, but functional and theres a safe. Theres complementary Tea/Coffee at reception

Was voor 1 nacht ok. Maar voor meerdere dagen niet. Het kon properder, zaten zelfs muggen op de kamer, maar wat er meest ontbrak was een ontbijt. Als je dan weet dat de meeste zaken maar om 10 uur open gaan. Op hun site was dat wel nog mogelijk, maar die was nog van voor corona.

I have now stayed here twice due to location .The rooms are basic but clean. Bathrooms are modern and clean .staff are friendly and helpful i had an issue with the mattress and it was resolved straight away .My only criticism is i wish there was a kettle in the room as i like a morning evening drink .There is a machine downstairs where you can purchase drinks though .I will return .
