Nice location, very central but quiet with lots of good restaurants on the same street. Good, friendly service with very generous mini bar. Room felt very small and quite dark particularly the wardrobe. Fine for one or two nights maybe but after 4 nights it started to feel cramped.

Nice hotel, got my upgrade without asking. Only 30 minutes from the airport. Good selection at breakfast. Only real minor complaint is that there is only 1 lift which was slow.

Friendly greeting. Clear information on facilities. Nice room for overnight stay. Breakfast, perhaps less choice than some hotels, but for me a good range of cooked food, fresh fruit, yoghurt and breads. Friendly and efficient check out. Have stayed here several times and will continue to do so.

This hotel is a small hotel in a great location - city center (only a 5 minute walk to the Metro and 2 stops to the Acropolis). The rooms are well appointed albeit typically smaller as the hotel is in the city center. The bed was super comfortable. Great quality amenities and linens. Great water pressure in the shower. Sliding doors lead out to a large balcony with a table and 2 chairs and some plants. Breakfast was fantastic for a hotel in the city center. The staff was super sweet and extremely helpful. There are a number of great restaurants within a very short distance. I would definitely return and stay here again next trip!

The hotel and staff are very nice and in a great location but the room could have been in better shape. The shower head was broke and the bathroom lighting could have been better. There was some type of motor outside the room that constantly turned on and was loud. Very annoying and difficult to get to sleep!

I received stellar service from all staff, especially Lefteris, Eugénia, and Chris. Lefteris was particularly helpful with information and arranging take out breakfasts for 3 days of my 7 day stay. I had early tours and an early departure flight. Thank you!

Friendly greeting. Clear information on facilities. Nice room for overnight stay. Breakfast, perhaps less choice than some hotels, but for me a good range of cooked food, fresh fruit, yoghurt and breads. Friendly and efficient check out. Have stayed here several times and will continue to do so.

I like that they had a bar and breakfast included. Didn't like the old-fashioned vibes. This is definitely a hotel that attracts older folks. Most of the guest appeared to be 60+

Hotel is well located and staff are friendly and helpful however the property and furniture is quite dated, breakfast options are limited and the hotel definitely needs an uplift. Room amenities especially toiletries were subpar.

Staff were welcoming. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Coffee was available in the room along with a minibar. There was a good range of food in the breakfast, both cooked (fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages) cold meat and cheese, salads, yoghurts, pasties, breads etc. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the Evangelismos metro stop on the blue line between the airport and central Athens.

The Ilisia Hotel was terrific! From the reception desk, to the bartender to the morning breakfast staff; none could have been more friendly and accommodating. If I were ever to return to Athens I would definitely use this facility again. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was versatile and tasty.
