Nice rooms but there are Bridge works adjacent but there is a pedestrian route through the bollards to walk over the river. Breakfast doesn’t have much hot food for vegetarians. Pool too cold to get into.

Great location for the station, and good value for money. Breakfast was good with a mix of western and Thai dishes and a egg/ omelette option. The pool and gym was fine for us and the front office staff very helpful.

Krug Sri River Hotel is definitely showing its age, and is way overdue for a renovation. Rooms still have bathtubs instead of walk-in showers. Electric outlets are a rarity, so charging your devices is a hassle. Carpets in the hallways are old, wavy, and dirty. But one of the biggest nuisances is the fact that the elevator does not come down to the 1st floor in the evening. This is probably for security reasons, but a big inconvenience if you dine in the restaurant and have difficulties climbing stairs.

Der große Pool war das beste an dem Hotel, das Gym war auch für ein Hotel-Gym sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war für Thailändische Verhältnisse unfreundlich. Es liegt ziemlich gut. Man kommt schnell überall hin und ein 7/11 ist auch nicht weit.

For a one night stay the hotel serves it purpose. It is a little out dated and need some attention, but the location, parking etc.. was excellent! The restaurant was a little on the upside, both price and food wise, so a lot of money but on the other hand also good food.

I was very pleased with our room and the free buffet breakfasts were sufficient, although not the best selection I've ever had. Our room wasn't the cleanest and the floor could have used a mopping now and again, but over-all it was large and comfortable and inviting, especially after spending the hot and humid days touring all the ancient temple ruins that Ayutthaya has to offer. I enjoyed the wonderful infinity pool located on the 5th floor, as it was cool and refreshing after our day-long temple ruin tours.

Krungsree hotel looks like a lavish large hotel from 1980s era. While it is nice clean big but it looks dated in comparison to modern hotel expectations.. A simple half litre water bottle will be charged. The rooms are all good , clean. Breakfast is lavish, large spread, although not to the likings of a typical indian vegetarian taste. Hasgood parking space for both cars as well as scooters.

Staff was excellent. The room was very clean. We could not get hot water to shower but the warm water was OK for Thailand. The breakfast bar was very good. The restrurant serves good food with many choices and maybe the best cheese burger in Thailand.

Catering mainly for Asian tourists as reflected in the buffet breakfast. Bathroom dated with a plastic shower screen on a shower in the bath tub,which took an age to drain,as did the sink. Staff generally not the friendliest although it was impossible to tell if they were smiling as they were all fully masked up a year after the rest of the world stopped wearing them

Lovely large hotel with pool. The rooms were very clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly. Breakfast was varied for every taste. The bed was very firm which was not to my taste but it may be okay for others. We enjoyed our stay.

During my stay, I discovered that the shampoo bottle in the bathroom was damaged, causing leakage and making it very inconvenient to use. I wonder why the housekeeping team did not check the shampoo bottles before the guests checked in. I promptly reported the issue to the front desk, they send someone change immediately ,but upon check-out, I was asked to pay 150 baht for the damaged bottle and 100 baht for the towel cleaning fee. After explaining the situation to the manager, they only waived the towel fee. However, this handling and the unpleasant communication process did indeed affect my overall experience. I hope the hotel can conduct more thorough inspections of room facilities and ensure staff provide more professional and respectful service, along with showing more understanding and flexibility in customer communication to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future. Additionally, I requested an extra bed, but the front desk staff responded very rudely, asking me if I wanted it "now," and when I asked if that was possible, she didn't respond. I had to ask three times , other staff come to said yes to me . This kind of attitude from the staff was very disappointing, especially considering it was around 9 PM, not late at all.

Wonderful old timey style room. It was very nice and clean, however it did feel a bit out dated. The bed was stiff and sheets were scratchy. The shower took awhile to heat up, and the air was slow to cool. There was also a loud band playing outside until around 10-11pm. It's a wonderful property, but in desperate need of updates.

Aufenthalt für eine Nacht. Das Hotel liegt nicht ganz so günstig da man eine große Schleife nehmen muss um ins Zentrum zu kommen, also mindestens 30 Minuten zu Fuß. Definitiv in die Jahre gekommen, Frühstück war überdurchschnittlich.

Pitiful western choice's for breakfast in the Pa Sak Coffee shop restaurant. Lazy room service, had to ask for teabags and to replenish the water. The bathroom appears to be upgraded as from the previous reviews which is a positive but the beds and pillows are very hard and uncomfortable. The Lieto restaurant and Pub is closed. The Chinese restaurant Gu-Cherng is excellent. The traditional thai restaurant Suan Rim Num is in an outdoor area which is nice at night. Another positive were the young man and woman who made great cocktails for us at the small cafe/bar in the Lobby area. All restaurants open at 5pm and we couldn't see any lunch availability. The reception staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Total waste of time asking them about anything, you may as well go and ask the Tuk Tuk drivers on the road because they are helpful.

During my stay, I discovered that the shampoo bottle in the bathroom was damaged, causing leakage and making it very inconvenient to use. I wonder why the housekeeping team did not check the shampoo bottles before the guests checked in. I promptly reported the issue to the front desk, they send someone change immediately ,but upon check-out, I was asked to pay 150 baht for the damaged bottle and 100 baht for the towel cleaning fee. After explaining the situation to the manager, they only waived the towel fee. However, this handling and the unpleasant communication process did indeed affect my overall experience. I hope the hotel can conduct more thorough inspections of room facilities and ensure staff provide more professional and respectful service, along with showing more understanding and flexibility in customer communication to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future. Additionally, I requested an extra bed, but the front desk staff responded very rudely, asking me if I wanted it "now," and when I asked if that was possible, she didn't respond. I had to ask three times , other staff come to said yes to me . This kind of attitude from the staff was very disappointing, especially considering it was around 9 PM, not late at all.

Aufenthalt für eine Nacht. Das Hotel liegt nicht ganz so günstig da man eine große Schleife nehmen muss um ins Zentrum zu kommen, also mindestens 30 Minuten zu Fuß. Definitiv in die Jahre gekommen, Frühstück war überdurchschnittlich.

Nice rooms but there are Bridge works adjacent but there is a pedestrian route through the bollards to walk over the river. Breakfast doesn’t have much hot food for vegetarians. Pool too cold to get into.

Pitiful western choice's for breakfast in the Pa Sak Coffee shop restaurant. Lazy room service, had to ask for teabags and to replenish the water. The bathroom appears to be upgraded as from the previous reviews which is a positive but the beds and pillows are very hard and uncomfortable. The Lieto restaurant and Pub is closed. The Chinese restaurant Gu-Cherng is excellent. The traditional thai restaurant Suan Rim Num is in an outdoor area which is nice at night. Another positive were the young man and woman who made great cocktails for us at the small cafe/bar in the Lobby area. All restaurants open at 5pm and we couldn't see any lunch availability. The reception staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Total waste of time asking them about anything, you may as well go and ask the Tuk Tuk drivers on the road because they are helpful.

Dejligt ophold i Ayuthaya med udsigt til floden. Alt fungerede fint, og prisen var god. Morgenmadsudvalget var enormt, men blot ikke til vores vestlige smag. Morgenkaffen var ikke god. Vi lejede cykler og kørte rundt i byen, super dejligt. Fantastisk restaurant tæt på, Tarn, den ligger i en smuk træ pavillon, nærmest på floden bag et hotel i retning mod togstationen.

Unfortunately there’s a problem with the air conditioning but we weren’t told about it until 10pm that night. I first phoned reception at 4pm and I also went down to speak to them; nobody was able to help us or even give us a fan for our room. Disappointed.
