You think you book the Yacht club towers but they put you in a condo property behind it. No on site staff to assist with anything. No racks in the oven, asked for them 3 times never got them. Dirty patio floor. No pool pass, was told the owners didn’t send it. The location is great though.

The only good thing I have to say is the pool was massive and clean. Not once were clean towels brought around. I will NOT stay there again. Our neighbors were doing drugs and loud and I had my 10 year old there. Couldn’t ever reach one person at desk. This was supposed to be a resort and it boast some of the highest standards and I don’t see how. Next year I will look elsewhere before staying in this disgusting place with nasty carpet bedspread and no housekeeping.

When we arrived our unit did not have a pool key. We contacted the number and was told to call back on Monday to speak to management. There wasn’t anything that could be done and my kids couldn’t go swimming. This was a huge problem especially with 3 kids who all love swimming in a pool and not the ocean. We never got a key card and was offered to go swimming in another area.

it was really nice to be right next to the pool! overall the condo was nice. however there were some minor inconveniences. the refrigerator was leaking water. the beds were very uncomfortable, the king size bed was two full size beds put together with a dip in the middle.it took two days for us to get pool passes/ trash passes.

While the property is unique, due to issues with the property they failed to be able to get us a room and our reservation was canceled and refunded two hours after check in. The Front desk staff tried very hard and honestly seems very overworked. The property however has complaining "homeowners", a packed pool that\'s aging, buildings begin to deteriorate, and only one option for food. Combine that with a front door that allows check in at 4pm but closes it doors at 5pm. You end up very underwhelmed and very disappointed with the price your paying. 3-4 star prices with 1-2 star accommodations and only one worker to be seen that should really be given a raise.

Loved this rental! There was some wear and tear to the couch, ice maker not working, and a broken mirror, but very minor issues and maintenance checked in with us. Love the area and the balcony. Very clean and quiet. Perfect spot for a low key and peaceful family vacation. There was some confusion with which pools were accessible, but we were able to enjoy the pool closest to us. All tvs were hooked to Roku, so my kids were very happy to access this. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the room was so spacious!

While staying at Barefoot Resort and Yacht Club, I did not receive my pool pass that was told by the front desk it would be given to me to the room under my reservation. I stayed till a week and have called the front desk and every number given and have talked to the front desk in person at the Myrtlewood front desk and they said the room key would be in our room with the parking passes and was not. So then we called and they said that we could pick it up the following morning at the Myrtlewood location(20 minuntes away). So we went over they changed their policy TODAY they would be bringing all the missing pool keys out to the rooms and leave them on the counter. And then after that I callled and asked them to confirm the confirmation that they were going to bring the keys out as well and the lady on the line did confirm to me that someone was bringing them to us. In our room so we left and expected our keys to be there after we got to our room hours later. Then returned to no pool keys and called the other number for concerns after five to a man that said he’d leave a message for management and they did not have anything to do for us for the evening. Next day we drove to the other location again after having late check in and the prior day and then the next time to receive another pool pass to a different pool that we’d need to return when we leave at the same spot out of our way or we’d be charged. And while we were there they had our roof above us on the 3rd floor redone.

I thought the unit was nice but needed some painting and cleaning around bathroom flooring. The coffee pot in the kitchen was filthy and I had to clean it out before using it. I liked the convenience of the parking areas. Check in was a bit of trouble as they kept telling me I owed more money and I had a receipt saying I had paid in full... They finally got it straightened out. Checkout was at 10:00 a.m. We left the until at 9:00 a.m and went to the office to turn in pool key, where we found a sign on the door saying "back at 11:00". Finally someone came to open the door and I said are you opening up now... and she rudely replied "ahhhh yeah".

The room was nasty. Stained carpets throughout. While watching TV sitting on the couch a roach crawled on my back. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. Requested a refund and no one has gotten back to me. I called numerous times and still nothing. Hotels. Com didn’t help nor did the hotel. I will never stay at this resort again nor will I use hotels.com.

Experience was horrible. 2 bedroom condo that we rented out was dirty & stained carpet with dirty walls we also had 2 roaches in our room!!!! Not like pictures or description. One of the bedrooms had no working AC, TV remote had no working batteries. The master bedroom had a broken TV & on suite bathroom had no soak in tub like in description. The resort also got our information mixed up & said that we were suppose to check out a day earlier when our reservation and receipt said we were not suppose to be checked out yet until the next day. The resort finally found our information and apologize, but we will never come back here again.

The young lady at the front desk was very friendly during check-in. The villas were very peaceful and we also liked the location... However, we were not happy with the cleanliness of the linens and the lack of towels. We called to request more towels, but we were told that there were enough and that we would have to drive 20 minutes to pick them up if we needed them... We ended up going to Walmart to buy towels for our guests. Because two would not be enough for five guests... The furniture could also be updated, and the microwave handle was broken.

I like the view of the yachts & boat from the balcony.That scenery was beautiful!The balconies to the unit in which me & my family were staying needs to be power washed.And the rugs on the balconies need to be replaced.Unit itself very nice.Very roomy.

The stay started off a little bumpy. When we arrived to Myrtle Beach, I realized that they never sent me the welcome email providing me with the information needed to get inside the Villa such as the access codes to get inside the villa. I finally received it only to walk into a occupied room. They gave me access to someone else's room luckily they wasn't there. The long story short I had to wait an additional 45 mins ticket a room. After this mishap everything was gravy. The room was very spacious clean and the view was amazing! I would definitely come back and stay at this location.

The room was as bare bones as you could have and call yourself a room. The coffee maker had the on button missing. There an ice bucket and no ice machine. There was not a cup anywhere and one small trash can in the bathroom. 2 thin pillows per bed and no extra bedding to be found. However, the view was lovely and it is right next to BFL. If you do this, bring everything you think you could use.

Nice location and the view was very good. We got there late at night, and had an issue getting in. The place is very tired looking, there was no toilet paper and the toilet was broken. Tabitha was wonderful getting someone to come perform a temporary fix and luckily we had TP in the car. The wonderful maintenance man came back in the morning and fixed it properly. The place was very quiet but then yesterday morning, we walked into the bathroom and smelled bacon cooking lol. This morning I walked into the bathroom and could hear the neighbor using his bathroom. The walls are very thin. The worst part was the bed, neither of us could sleep well as the bed was the most uncomfortable I have slept in, in a very long time! Not worth the money at all.

Very disappointed! I have stayed in better Motel 6’s. Decor was VERY dated and stripped down. Not like the pictures.The first room was so neglected, they moved us to another room but it wasn’t much better. No mini fridge or coffee maker. Couldn’t get into the room until 5 and a guy in a beat up car gave us a packet with codes. Didn’t even have the code for the gate. I wasn’t the only one upset. One guy was literally yelling at the property mgt company on the phone. This property has been neglected.

it was really nice to be right next to the pool! overall the condo was nice. however there were some minor inconveniences. the refrigerator was leaking water. the beds were very uncomfortable, the king size bed was two full size beds put together with a dip in the middle.it took two days for us to get pool passes/ trash passes.

Loved this rental! There was some wear and tear to the couch, ice maker not working, and a broken mirror, but very minor issues and maintenance checked in with us. Love the area and the balcony. Very clean and quiet. Perfect spot for a low key and peaceful family vacation. There was some confusion with which pools were accessible, but we were able to enjoy the pool closest to us. All tvs were hooked to Roku, so my kids were very happy to access this. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the room was so spacious!

The stay started off a little bumpy. When we arrived to Myrtle Beach, I realized that they never sent me the welcome email providing me with the information needed to get inside the Villa such as the access codes to get inside the villa. I finally received it only to walk into a occupied room. They gave me access to someone else's room luckily they wasn't there. The long story short I had to wait an additional 45 mins ticket a room. After this mishap everything was gravy. The room was very spacious clean and the view was amazing! I would definitely come back and stay at this location.

This was the worst experience we have ever had with a resort. We booked to be at Barefoot Yacht, upon entering our room , they had double booked it and someone was occupied in that room. They placed in another location 20min away in apartment with no heat and air and unclean room.

As instructed, I called the resort as soon as we landed at MYR. I was on hold for over six minutes and had to leave a voicemail message. Arrived at the property without ever receiving a callback. One agent behind the desk. She was explaining to the family in front of us that their reservation had “been lost” when the resort updated their computer system. She was busy trying to find a villa for them which took at least 15 minutes. It was my turn. Same agent told me I and my husband would have to move from our one-week-stay villa to a hotel room on the last night because there had been a “water problem.” None of this made sense but I was too tired to inquire. Made it to the “villa.” It was sparsely furnished and looked a bit like worse for wear. I would not suggest that his property to any of my friends. There are too many other resorts in the area to choose from. Live and learn.

I liked the location in reference to the beach and restaurants. Loved the pool area and the speed with the maintenance requests and office staff were very helpful. Highly dissatisfied with mattresses. It is evident that the furniture was purchased second hand but it would have been nice for the owner to invest in quality mattresses and vacuum. The vacuum cleaner was broken and ductaped back together with an unclean filter. As well as none of the headboards were attached to any of the beds.

While the property is unique, due to issues with the property they failed to be able to get us a room and our reservation was canceled and refunded two hours after check in. The Front desk staff tried very hard and honestly seems very overworked. The property however has complaining "homeowners", a packed pool that\'s aging, buildings begin to deteriorate, and only one option for food. Combine that with a front door that allows check in at 4pm but closes it doors at 5pm. You end up very underwhelmed and very disappointed with the price your paying. 3-4 star prices with 1-2 star accommodations and only one worker to be seen that should really be given a raise.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the management at Beach Vacations. Their unprofessionalism and lack of accountability have severely impacted my recent stay. Upon arrival, I was placed in the wrong room type. On the first day, the master bathroom lights were not functioning, and we were not provided with pool keys, rendering the pool unusable. When I requested a temporary key, my request was refused, with the excuse that the HOA was responsible for the key issue. We didn’t hate our stay here. Our bathroom sink drain was stopped up, the bathtub drain didnt close for my kids to take a bath. The property was having work done outside that was loud during the day. My car was almost towed because the parking pass was “incomplete”. The location wasn’t as close to the beach as we had hoped, but overall it was just..okay. The room was huge we had a 2 bedroom and the full kitchen was nice for our family.

You think you book the Yacht club towers but they put you in a condo property behind it. No on site staff to assist with anything. No racks in the oven, asked for them 3 times never got them. Dirty patio floor. No pool pass, was told the owners didn’t send it. The location is great though.

Nice neighborhood with drawbacks when booking on Hotels.com. I was unaware that the neighborhood of this complex was so large. We were 2 miles away from where we expected to be. 2 miles from the large pool that is shown in the pictures. I also believed that Barefoot Landing was going to be walkable from my Condo. I was wrong and the pedestrian bridge to Barefoot Landing is closed - no fault of the Resort and Yacht club. Our King bed was 2 twin beds held together by a king bedsheet. It was also the most uncomfortable bed, I've been on in a long time. Granted these units are individually owned so your mileage may vary. It's a nice looking neighborhood and well maintained but I don't think it's for me so I don't think I'll return. I can see how golfers would love it though. There is a course that winds around the whole neighborhood.

The young lady at the front desk was very friendly during check-in. The villas were very peaceful and we also liked the location... However, we were not happy with the cleanliness of the linens and the lack of towels. We called to request more towels, but we were told that there were enough and that we would have to drive 20 minutes to pick them up if we needed them... We ended up going to Walmart to buy towels for our guests. Because two would not be enough for five guests... The furniture could also be updated, and the microwave handle was broken.

Experience was horrible. 2 bedroom condo that we rented out was dirty & stained carpet with dirty walls we also had 2 roaches in our room!!!! Not like pictures or description. One of the bedrooms had no working AC, TV remote had no working batteries. The master bedroom had a broken TV & on suite bathroom had no soak in tub like in description. The resort also got our information mixed up & said that we were suppose to check out a day earlier when our reservation and receipt said we were not suppose to be checked out yet until the next day. The resort finally found our information and apologize, but we will never come back here again.
