Service staff were really helpful and kind during our 7d6n stay. First night was eventful, the tap was leaky so we called the front desk for help. The technician appeared within 10mins and replaced the tap within the hour. Except that he accidentally splashed water all over my dress and jacket hanging by the door. The room is really spacious. Not much TV programs, but not a big issue for us as we don’t stay long in the room. The drainage system isn’t great, we had to leave the drainage cover in the shower room ajar for better flow. The bed is really hard and pillows are very soft which we are not accustomed to. We are really impressed by the sound proof windows. Really blocked out all sounds coming from the road and train station. But the door/walls are pretty thin. Free breakfast are mostly not-so-bad as mentioned by other reviews. But gym and swimming pool are really tiny. BTS station is just nearby which is great for traveling towards the popular areas but the station doesn’t have any lifts or escalators to the ground floor. There are many food options, convenience store, pharmacy just about 5-8mins’ walk away (next to BTS). A port is available just next to the BTS station which allow us to go to ICON SIAM the most convenient way. Do note to go to the public shuttle boat ticket service (10baht/pax) instead of being pulled to the private ones (20baht/pax). Overall, we really liked our stay at Oakwood.

Property was nice, maintenance staff was visible each day working on something - keeping the property up, staff was nice, room was nice. Bad was terrible - hard as a rock. Hotel states is has a shuttle but it doesnt. They work with a cab and charge a fee for helping you get the cab. ($1,500 b = $1000 for cab + $500 for hotel) Website boasts sound proof walls - ha thats a joke. You hear everything

I stayed with my teenage son and felt safe the entire time. Hotel has carded entry and guard on staff at all times. We will stay there again! ขอบคุณ

Amazing hotel for the price I paid. Location was near train station and a small shopping mall. Lots of street food and restaurant. Hotel staff were great, friendly and helpful that I would extend my stay there if not because the hotel was fully booked. The sauna room was great after a day of walking in bangkok

Too bad this property didn't included breakfast unlike across the street new Holiday inn Express, newer, same price included breakfast. Hall way on the floor we stayed no air conditioning, very very hot.

Close to the MRT and shopping mall. Nice staffs but the room needs more quality of avoiding other people talking so loud. Free laundry for hotel guests :)

This hotel was just ok. Not so spectacular. The restaurant food in the hotel was overpriced and not so good. Our room was a bit noisy from the pool and the neighbors’ room. To make the matters worse, our room was situated right above the restaurant so we heard the music from the restaurant from early in the morning. The room smelled funny which made us question the cleanliness of this property.

Decent location. 3 minute walk to the train and 5 minutes to the ferry. The hotel (room 521) itself isn’t the cleanest. The bed sheets had some stains. There was noticeable mold in my washroom. The shower was also very hard to control the temperature as out kept fluctuating between extremely hot and cold.

Not worth the price. Rooms indicated they had “premium bedding” which isn’t true. Mattress was hard, not a pillow top. Restroom had molding around sink and showers. Staff in the lobby wasnt very welcoming. Housekeeping was very helpful and nice though.

Really enjoyed my 6 nights here. Great location, a few minutes to the Skytrain and lots of shops nearby. Hotel is also located in the pick up zone for many day trips in and around Bangkok. My room was 805 very clean, fresh water everyday and my room was cleaned each day. Great wifi and staff friendly. Hot shower and great little extras such as slippers, dressing gown, umbrella. Only negatives were the walls were thin I could hear everything from the room next door and I ordered room service the first night as I arrived late and my chicken burger contained hairs. Other than that I had a good stay thank you.

I like the environmental of nice smell of fragrance in hotel lobby, but the room dont have proper wardrobe to hang my clothing is really upset

Other than the lady that checked us in, all other service staff were friendly and helpful. The facility itself was clean but on the older side. The bathroom drains were slow to drain, the bed rather uncomfortable, and the refrigerator barely kept water just slightly cool to name a few. The room itself is a comfortable size. Convenient enough to fit a couple of large suitcases and carry on luggage and still have room to get around without having to walk over everything. This property is rated a 4 star hotel but it really falls in line more consistently with a 3 star.

The walls were quite thin and when our neighbours had people knocking on their door, it was so loud that it sounded liao someone was knocking on ours. Could also hear our neighbours when they were loud. The staff especially the bell boy (man) was super nice thou

Location is excellent. Easy to get taxi and 3 mins walk to sapan taksin Bts station and not forgetting a 8 baht boat ride to icon Siam. There’s also plenty of eateries around the area. Old school and local. However take note that everything closes by 1030pm except a 24hrs macd. The staff are very polite. Check in was fast and clear. The room is big and comes with a bathtub. However, the bath tub doesn’t comes with a shower screen and the floor gets totally wet during shower time. It’s also very dusty to the extend that we had dry throat and running noise in the morning. The noise insulation on the window is not good too. You will hear some road noise during the night. Bearable. Bed is also quite hard as well. Non the less, for the price we had paid it’s worth it unless you are a super sound sensitive sleeper.

I enjoyed my stay at Oakwood; the hotel is well located and it was very easy to get around. My room was small but very functional - I missed having a bathtub for foot soaking after long days of walking. My only complaint is that the air conditioning was way too strong and interrupted my sleep at nights due to the freezing cold temperatures that I couldn’t find a balance with, if you tried to adjust the temperature, it would eventually go back to the hotel’s default setting of 20 degrees Celsius. I felt like I was sleeping in a freezer and had purchase warm pijamas to sleep in at nights; this would discourage me from staying at the Oakwood again. Thank you 🙏

staff is totally unfit to run a hotel.

Overall the hotel is good, ideally located, near BTS skytrain or ferries. Hotel is clean, and in good conditions, fairly priced. Unfortunately hotel staff gave me the wrong information twice regarding places to do visa extension, which made me loose half a day. Then, i had to ask 4 times to get shower gel in order to clean up. Made me waste more time. Finally i askef for a late checkout, but was told couldnt do it because the room was booked, but magically they could do it for 750 bahts... Never gave me one inch for flexibility regarding anything when i gently pointed out all my issues. In conclusion, nice hotel, fair pricing, friendly ultra rigid unflexible clueless staff.....oh and shower gel comes with individual ultra small container. Not eco friendly. Hand soap is water down. For some reason their biggest problem at this hotel is soap.

The staff was not accommodating of our situation -my husband had a broken ankle and was on crutches, yet they placed us in the room furthest down the hall, requiring a long and painful walk. After we left a review, they did offer us another room the next day, but we declined as our stay was short and the new room was even smaller. What’s frustrating is that much larger rooms were clearly available, which they could have offered from the start. The doormen were friendly and helpful, but the front desk staff showed no initiative or concern at all.

This was a birthday celebration for me and my husband. First time in Thailand. I am very happy that we pick Oakwood to stay, it is a wonderful hotel. The staff are beyond wonderful. We have always traveled for our birthday, i can say Oakwood help made it very special. From sending personalized birthday cakes to our room and assisting in making reservations for dinners and tours. If and when we visit Thailand again we will definitely be staying at Oakwood.

Close proximity to Chao Phraya river for easy access to all the places we need to see in Bangkok. Highly recommended. The staff are friendly at check in and check out. I would come back to stay again.

Staff never great you. I had a beer and they changed me twice. While my taxi were waiting for me they were doing other stuff instead of solving problems. At the end the found out they made a mistake and no apology

My wife had lost her watch on the day we checked out. We went back to Iconsiam to make another purchase and when we returned to get our bags, the hotel receptionist pulled the missing watch and gave it back to my wife! We were so happy and many thanks to the hotel staff for finding this watch!!! We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Oakwood and highly recommend it to other travelers! Thanks again!

The property is very close to Saphan Taksin BTS station and Sathorn Pier for river transport. It is also close to a department store and lots of food stalls.

The location is great, close to BTS station and Sathorn pier for water taxi. Nice local restaurants around the hotel. Staff are friendly.

Our stay here was lovely. The rooms were modern and very clean and the beds were big and very comfy. Hotel is located in one of the quieter areas of Bangkok but that was perfect for us. The train station/ferrys were a short walk to get to the tourist hotspots. Staff were always happy to help minus the gentleman that greeted us when we arrived, seemed grumpy but put it down to having a bad day.

Staff were amazing. Very well located, there’s the river pier close by which is great for sight seeing and scenic transport to city centre.

Property is centrally located steps from Saphan Taksin BTS station and the ferries terminal. There are lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and shops close by.

今回で2度目の利用です。受付カウンターの女性の対応は前回と変わらず非常に良くスムーズな対応でした。部屋は満足のいくものでしたがアップグレードは残念ながらされていないようでした。 前回の11月滞在の時と違い朝食会場も余り混雑していなく顔見知りのスタッフがいて毎朝、気持ちの良い挨拶が有りにこやかに一日のスタートがきれました。 今回は9泊10日での利用でしたがもう少し長くの滞在（今回3週間バンコク）でも良かったと思っています。 難があるとしたら朝食のビュッフェがこのクラスにしては貧相とと感じてるのは私だけでしょうか？

Good location, but not riverside. Clean. Good breakfast buffe. The staff there was really helpful. One night, the next room was too noisy laud. She stopped it.
