This is such a great house! Pretty much turnkey with ALL the supplies you could need for a fantastic getaway. The kitchen was so well equipped and impressive. Tons of dishes, pans, pots etc. The house had 2 of everything including dishwasher, washer/dryer and refrigerators. They keep the house well stocked with towels, soaps, detergents etc. Bedrooms very comfortable. Game rooms amazing. I could go on and on. All our guests had an amazing time and want to return with their families. Thank you very much for having us!!!!

This place has everything! It’s borderline impossible not to have fun at this house. You want to swim? River next to the house. You wanna play video games? They have 6 PlayStations in the basement. You want to gamble on table games? They got you covered with pool, ping pong, and shuffleboard. 10/10 stay!

Three generations, ages 2-72 enjoyed the property. There was something for everyone. We played volleyball. The dads kayaked on the River, the older kids played waffle ball, fished on the River and used the game rooms in the evening. We enjoyed the fire pit every day and had family supper’s together at the huge dinner table. It was a great family experience. We also got great weather.

Just as great as advertised! We went up to paddle house for a bachelor party weekend and it was amazing! We had 16 guys and there was a bed for everyone and plenty of room. The ultimate game room and bar area were great for football on Sunday and the 2 firepits out back got used every night along with the full volleyball ball court and 2 horseshoe pits. The hot tub along the river was great too especially with all the outdoor lighting. Cant say enough great things about this property and host. Thanks Amanda!!!
Just as great as advertised! We went up to paddle house for a bachelor party weekend and it was amazing! We had 16 guys and there was a bed for everyone and plenty of room. The ultimate game room and bar area were great for football on Sunday and the 2 firepits out back got used every night along with the full volleyball ball court and 2 horseshoe pits. The hot tub along the river was great too especially with all the outdoor lighting. Cant say enough great things about this property and host. Thanks Amanda!!!

This property is amazing!! We were a group of 13 ages 53 (Dean and myself) down to our grandson who’s 2. Everyone had fun! Our oldest daughter has 4 kids so they got the bunk wing and the ‘grown up’ wing the rest of us stayed in. The game rooms were a hit as it rained all week and a 2000 piece puzzle kept the adult boys entertained. The kitchen and pantry room … be still my cooking heart 😁 … everything you need PLUS! Great outside areas as well. Volleyball, horse shoe pits, corn hole and kayaks. I could ramble on for ever about this property!! Absolutely fantastic for a large group!! Host was amazing as well.

The house itself has everything that you could need for a comfortable stay.Skiing at Sunday River is only a few miles away.Our kids love to skate and play hockey, and the house has a skating rink in the backyard which is always in use.Skating continues into the night as the rink is well lit. hope to be able get get back next year!

Great stay in Maine! Home is equipped with everything you could think of needing, from trash bags to extra toilet paper. Plenty of activities to do outside and inside the property. River is a bit too rapid to use kayaks, but can launch kayaks up river and float back to house.

Had a great ski trip with friends on the property! We were able to use the game room and the disco lights, which made the atmosphere a lot of fun. Also, the hot tub is a little bit of a walk away from the main house but people still enjoyed it. Would want to come back in the summer to take advantage of the volleyball court. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything was fabulous...However, Maine is much more "rural" than we anticipated. Bethel is a lovely "village", but there isn't any city/commercial areas nearby. Our family was looking for "unplugged" and non-touristy. Everything at the PaddleHouse was EXACTLY as described. We had 13 adults. Sleeping and bath accommodations were great. Plenty of beds, linens, etc. The kitchen at 2 dishwashers and we cooked in several meals. So 2 dishwashers were very needed. The property is amazing. The second firepit by the river had outdoor couches and adirondaks. We spent several evenings around the fire. Unfortunately, it was much warmer than we had packed for and we didn't "play" as much outdoors as we originally anticipated. But this property has everything to keep your family entertained -- outdoors AND indoors. The game rooms, tvs, pool, pingpong. There is something for everyone. The host was very very communicative and responsive. Our entire family said it was the BEST vacation ever. All 13 of us would highly recommend the Paddle House!

The house is beautiful. It is perfectly set up offering plenty of options for both young and old. The kitchen has pretty much every cooking pot/pan, utensil, spice, glassware and dish in abundance. I might suggest it might be time to restock the teaspoons. The outside yard area is completely private with plenty of room for any sports game including an actual beach volleyball sand court, which our family really enjoyed. The many paddling options were also a perfect addition to the river experience. The hot tub was a great spot for relaxing. I might recommend a small net to help remove debris before it sinks, which will help to keep the operation cleaner. The only other suggestion to improve upon the wonderful experience for guests is to have better information relating to departure expectations and an up to date directory of community activities, restaurants, parks and trails. This info could be kept in a notebook for guests to reference. Despite identifying some simple suggestions to improve the Paddle House experience we absolutely loved our family experience and highly recommend it for an outstanding family vacation.

We had a wonderful time! We were at the Paddle house for a family Christmas celebration . The house was clean and spacious. The game room was a huge hit with our group. We enjoyed the beautiful living room fireplace with plenty of firewood. The ice rink was assembled and filled for our stay but wasn’t quite frozen enough for us to use. We appreciated the effort to get the rink ready for us. We did lose power our first night due to a wind storm but the generator quickly turned on, and we were very grateful. Amanda was very responsive to our questions and needs . We will definitely be back again. Carole

The paddlehouse was the perfect size for our large family. Plenty of room for all ages. The game rooms were great for a little indoor time. The volleyball area became the largest sandbox my grandchildren have played in. Everything was clean. Amanda was super helpful. Definitely would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. There were a total of 8 Adults and 19 children. We really liked the set up of all the adults on one side of the house upstairs and all the kids on the other side of the house upstairs for sleeping.

Second time renting The Paddle House, first was in the Summer. Our 3 Generation Family of 18 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Christmas Eve and Day big meals, with all 18 seated at the table, was exactly what we were looking for. Wonderful house with plenty to do in Winter and Summer, for all ages (we had 15 to 88).

To say The Paddle House is prepared for anything is an understatement. The kitchen was stocked with enough place settings and dishes to handle our group of 11 without an issue. A lot of thought went into the needs and comfort of its guests. I would absolutely book this place again. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful place and the booking was absolutely seamless.

Our family had a great time at this house! There were 6 adults and 6 teenagers and there was enough room for everyone to have their own space. Teens were thrilled to have their own wing and adults enjoyed the quieter space upstairs. Lots of volleyball games and some wiffle ball in the backyard. The hot tub was enjoyed by all and when there was an issue with it, Amanda had it resolved in less than an hour after being informed. We would definitely consider this house again - beautiful getaway!

It was a perfect winter family Christmas weekend. The ground was blanketed with 12”of snow and we were in the midst of a cold snap which was perfect for winter outdoor activities. We were a multigenerational group of 13. The house was as described. Amanda was very responsive to any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay. We will be back. Carole

Just as great as advertised! We went up to paddle house for a bachelor party weekend and it was amazing! We had 16 guys and there was a bed for everyone and plenty of room. The ultimate game room and bar area were great for football on Sunday and the 2 firepits out back got used every night along with the full volleyball ball court and 2 horseshoe pits. The hot tub along the river was great too especially with all the outdoor lighting. Cant say enough great things about this property and host. Thanks Amanda!!!

Paddlehouse met our dream of our immediate family having a reunion with good food, activities in house for rain, including impropriety dance party in pool /ping pong room, everyone with a bed, plenty of bathrooms and a great working kitchen when the rain stopped we had so much fun outside with the large yard and games,. Hikes so easily accessible before the hot tub and easy to create wonderful meals in fabulously outfitted kitchen. We hope to find time we can all gather again as this took one year to arrange. We couldn’t ask for anything diy. Amanda the vrbo contact is fabulous and available for any questions or needs. So appreciate her too! Thank you for delightful 3day weekend!

3rd time at the Paddle house. We are a 3 generation family ranging in age from 9 to 73. The house itself has everything that you could need for a comfortable stay.Skiing at Sunday River is only a few miles away.Our kids love to skate and play hockey, and the house has a skating rink in the backyard which is always in use.Skating continues into the night as the rink is well lit. hope to be able get get back next year!

Great stay in Maine! Home is equipped with everything you could think of needing, from trash bags to extra toilet paper. Plenty of activities to do outside and inside the property. River is a bit too rapid to use kayaks, but can launch kayaks up river and float back to house.

Stayed here with a large group of friends and it was an excellent property! TONS of room, stocked kitchen, great game room. We all loved this property. About 12-15 minutes away from Sunday River.

Everything was fabulous...However, Maine is much more "rural" than we anticipated. Bethel is a lovely "village", but there isn't any city/commercial areas nearby. Our family was looking for "unplugged" and non-touristy. Everything at the PaddleHouse was EXACTLY as described. We had 13 adults. Sleeping and bath accommodations were great. Plenty of beds, linens, etc. The kitchen at 2 dishwashers and we cooked in several meals. So 2 dishwashers were very needed. The property is amazing. The second firepit by the river had outdoor couches and adirondaks. We spent several evenings around the fire. Unfortunately, it was much warmer than we had packed for and we didn't "play" as much outdoors as we originally anticipated. But this property has everything to keep your family entertained -- outdoors AND indoors. The game rooms, tvs, pool, pingpong. There is something for everyone. The host was very very communicative and responsive. Our entire family said it was the BEST vacation ever. All 13 of us would highly recommend the Paddle House!

This is such a great house! Pretty much turnkey with ALL the supplies you could need for a fantastic getaway. The kitchen was so well equipped and impressive. Tons of dishes, pans, pots etc. The house had 2 of everything including dishwasher, washer/dryer and refrigerators. They keep the house well stocked with towels, soaps, detergents etc. Bedrooms very comfortable. Game rooms amazing. I could go on and on. All our guests had an amazing time and want to return with their families. Thank you very much for having us!!!!

Communication with host was wonderful. This was our 3rd stay at the Paddle House. We have done Summer, Winter, and now late Fall. House is a great fit for our three generation group of 16-18 people. Quality of amenities is outstanding. Plenty for everyone to do. Beautiful area and setting. Large meals are a breeze with the kitchen and dining table set up! Would highly recommend this house to others!

To say The Paddle House is prepared for anything is an understatement. The kitchen was stocked with enough place settings and dishes to handle our group of 11 without an issue. A lot of thought went into the needs and comfort of its guests. I would absolutely book this place again. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful place and the booking was absolutely seamless.

This was a great place for the mixed generations in our family. The kindergarteners lovers the big, puffy pillow in the TV room The preteens loved the game rooms, the hot tub the volleyball game. The teens were able to get some homework done in the spacious rooms. The kitchen worked well for all the different meal preps ! It was everything I wanted it to be even though Hurricane Lee was threatening but only a windy event with some showers!! Not a problem with all the in house offerings!!

This property is amazing!! We were a group of 13 ages 53 (Dean and myself) down to our grandson who’s 2. Everyone had fun! Our oldest daughter has 4 kids so they got the bunk wing and the ‘grown up’ wing the rest of us stayed in. The game rooms were a hit as it rained all week and a 2000 piece puzzle kept the adult boys entertained. The kitchen and pantry room … be still my cooking heart 😁 … everything you need PLUS! Great outside areas as well. Volleyball, horse shoe pits, corn hole and kayaks. I could ramble on for ever about this property!! Absolutely fantastic for a large group!! Host was amazing as well.

Fantastic weekend celebrating my 50th with girlfriends. There were plenty of beds..the kitchen was fully stocked and the back yard was perfect. Lots of memories made. Love the Paddle House!!

Second time renting The Paddle House, first was in the Summer. Our 3 Generation Family of 18 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Christmas Eve and Day big meals, with all 18 seated at the table, was exactly what we were looking for. Wonderful house with plenty to do in Winter and Summer, for all ages (we had 15 to 88).
Second time renting The Paddle House, first was in the Summer. Our 3 Generation Family of 18 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Christmas Eve and Day big meals, with all 18 seated at the table, was exactly what we were looking for. Wonderful house with plenty to do in Winter and Summer, for all ages (we had 15 to 88).

Rented this property for a small class trip and the students and teachers had an amazing time. The house and amenities were spectacular and made the trip so memorable. Very close to Conway NH where the class spent an entire day exploring.

Amanda was great in her quick responses to my questions.This was our fourth visit to the Paddlehouse and we have never been disappointed. The backyard skating rink is a clincher for our family. Its location to Sunday River and the local bowling lanes is also great .
