Luxury villa with heated private pool

Beautful villa but instructions as to how to get there well out of date and resulted in a 2- 3 hour delay in gettig into villa .Agent only arrived on third day of our 6 day stay by when we had a long list of things which did not work.Agent tried to resolve these issues but some were never resolved . "solar heated" swimming pool was frozen and pool attendant refused to switch on the auxilliary heating without owners consent which was not forthcoming

Oh my! What an amazing house - unconventional design, with all rooms circuling an interior courtyard, so perfect for larger groups as there's ability for all to have private access to the outside space. There was just the two of us, so three rooms unused, but we happily rattled around. Everything is so well appointed and thought about - furniture and decor is high end and the owners have definitely worked through and supplied everything you might need in any eventuality - even down to a needle and thread! Nothing has been missed. The outside area is amazing, very comfortable, always sunny and the pool was brilliant - a decent size to actually be able to swim in it. This is definitely the best villa we have ever stayed in and would love to return. We dropped one star re accuracy of description, solely because the TV did not have English channels and the wifi wasn't strong enough to host our fire stick, but after a few hours of frustratingly trying and a call from the owner (thank you) we settled with Netflix and Prime already loaded onto the TV - I could get YouTube to cast to the TV, but for some reason could not mirror my phone in its entirety. Like I say, after we realised this, we were happy with the compromise. We don't mean to sound like saddos, but as publicans, we never have the opportunity at home to watch TV at home! The village is lovely, some great bars - we loved the hippy vibe at the Fuerte Vida for a beer in a frozen glass (food looked amazing too, but we missed their dining times), we also rate the Return Restobar for amazing pizzas. Thank you for sharing your home - we truly felt like millionaires for the week! Oh and we also loved the true independence of the stay, all info is supplied to self check in and out. Absolutely brilliant x

This is a superb villa. Private, tranquil, spotlessly clean & very well equipped. The new addition of the hot water boost proved very beneficial on our only one very dull day. The pool’s solar heating was very efficient, reaching a high of 27* - great for a winter sun holiday. Location allows easy access to walk the paths around the volcanoes and a steady walk down into Lajares to our favourite pastry cafe. Can’t wait to return! Thank you Andrew, Katy, Anthony & team.

This is the second time we stayed at this amazing villa and have already booked a third trip. The reason I haven’t rated this as 5* this time is the pool. We had issues with it (it went green) and it took a week for the pool guy to bring it around.

Die Villa von Andrew ist sauber und geräumig (für 8 Personen), Küche ist top ausgestattet und hat sogar einen privatem Pool. Total ruhig - am Ende der Straße, die zum Wanderweg zu den Vulkanen führt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren Ende Januar 2023 für 2 1/2 Wochen im Ferienhaus von Andrew & Katie. Das Haus ist ruhig und sicher gelegen und hat hat einen schön angelegten Garten, alles entspricht den Fotos. Das Haus hat ein Atrium und ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In der Küche gibt es reichlich Kochgeschirr, insgesamt auch sehr sauber. Moderne Badezimmer, Heißwasser über Solar meistens verfügbar. Pool wird einmal die Woche gereinigt, auch da ist alles ok. Der Pool ist mit 1,20m Tiefe kinderfreundlich. Ein von uns gemeldeter Mangel wurde schnell behoben. Leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit dem Wetter (in der nahegelegenen Sahara hat es sogar geschneit), sodass das Haus vor allem nachts sehr auskühlte. Im Wohn/Esszimmer gibt es jedoch einen Elektro-Kamin, der gut heizte. Im Winter also ruhig ein paar dicke Pullis und Wollssocken mitnehmen! Übrigens ist das Haus durch zahlreiche Neubauten in der Umgebung nicht ganz so leicht zu finden - unser Navi führte uns falsch. Empfehlenswert bei der ersten Anreise ist die Eingabe der genauen GPS-Daten, vor allem bei einer nächtlichen Anreise, da wird es richtig schwierig. Vor allem für Wanderer oder Radfahrer ist es eine gute Jahreszeit, weil es nicht so warm ist. Wenn wir wiederkommen, würden wir eine wärmere Jahreszeit wählen. Many thanks to Andrew & Katie!

Villa is as described (if not better) and is really well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Lovely outside space and pool. Host/manager was really easy to deal with. Location is great to drive to El Cotillo or Correlejo and to walk to bakery and restaurants in Lahares. Had a great time!

Excellent villa. Kitchen well equipped. Enjoyed the pool. Little things could have easily been better. The soap dispenser in the main bedroom was nearly empty, there was no towel in the separate toilet. This wasn't a problem for us as there were only 2 of us. Disappointed that the description says..."Complementary drink and snacks are also provided on arrival in addition to a selection of toiletries in each bathroom." We did not have any complementary drinks or food. The bathrooms only had hand soap provided. Also the description says..."..secluded from busy roads and neighbours..." Yes the road is very quiet, but from the seats outside the main bedroom you can see the road and we saw skateboarders going past. Also the wall at the bottom of the garden is low and a neighbour was seen walking up and down right by the wall on his phone. It is quiet, but not secluded. The gardener arrived unexpectedly.

A luxurious and comfortable villa with a great layout, lovely pool (cleaned twice whilst we were there) and huge sense of space which was perfect for our family from 5 years old to 70. It is clean and very well equipped. We felt very secure and safe with the kids. The landscape surrounding the villa is dramatic and the beaches a short drive away are breath-taking. We fell in love with Fuerteventura on this holiday and the villa played a major part in that. Thank you.

We stayed in this villa the 2 last weeks of Oct. It was honestly a great stay in a beautiful villa: tranquil, no traffic at all, also no quads racing around or howling dogs during nights like we once had in El Roque. This villa has all the required amenities and more. In the beginning, the circulation pump of the pool made a lot of noise, in a way that we could not sit outside. We informed the owner about this - he made the necessary arrangements to replace it by a new one which is quieter. Working point: the dishwasher has seen better days but this didn’t bother us much.

This was undoubtedly one of the most exceptional holiday properties we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a few!) Beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture indoors and out and every possible gadget needed in the kitchen too. Extremely comfortable beds and plenty of places to sit both in and out of the sun. The saltwater heated pool was an added bonus and the pool man kept it in perfect order while housekeeper, Emma was very attentive and the whole property was beautifully clean. We had one small issue with plumbing which was dealt with by Andrew within half an hour from England and help arrived and all was fine. We would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again in a future visit to our favourite Canary island. Graham & Gail H

We rented the villa for a second time and are still absolutely satisfied!! It is very clean and very well equipped, the matresses are comfortable , it's quite and pivate. There is nothing we missed!! We'll be back in March!

Die Villa war ein Traum. Sauber,gepflegt, ....ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Es war alles vorhanden. Der schönste Aufenthaltsort war die Terrasse und der Pool. Die Ruhe hat uns sehr gut getan,......und wir werden wieder kommen.

The villa is spotlessly clean in an ideal location. It is well equipped, well located and well managed. Nothing was too much trouble for our host who was battling external water supply issues. We have every intention of returning again and again. The only 'surprise' was that the shower for the upstairs bedroom is hand-held above the bath. A slight niggle, but nothing to stop us returning to the perfect spot.

Am Wochenende bekommt man bei offenen Fenstern ein bisschen was vom Trubel in einer ein paar hundert Meter entfernten Bar mit, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Wir kommen wieder.

Met ons gezin beleefden we een schitterende vakantie in de villa van Julie. Het huis is tip top in orde zowel binnen als buiten. Het zal je er aan niks ontbreken. De ontvangst was ook hartelijk. Het huis ligt in het dorp Lajares, rustig en toch kortbij alles (12 minuten met wagen naar Corralejo). Just as we thought. A nice find in an nice quiet area. Contact with the owner was very simple. The house was nicely equipped. Clean and tidy, a real home from home

This is our 5th time to this villa. Even now, it still gives us the “wow” factor when we arrive. It is so well equipped, the bed linen is excellent and there was no shortage of towels. We look forward to returning next year.

The house is as great as the photos suggest. There is always a place available to chill: In the sun, without sun, without wind, under a roof, in the morning sun, … We drove across the island, and every time we concluded: This is the best region to stay

This was our second stay at this lovely villa. We stayed for a month and we did not want to go home ! It is a spacious villa and brilliant outside space with comfortable chairs to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the fantastic sunsets. We did eat in quite a bit as the quality and price of fresh food and wine available at the local supermarket was outstanding. Just a lovely villa and fantastic pool to have lovely memories of.

Lovely villa in a large plot. The villa is spacious, good layout with everything you need. The location is perfect with privacy, shops and restaurants nearby, and just being able to walk out to the volcano.

Das Haus ist super!! Wir haben nichts vermisst! Man sollte beachten, das in Lajares das Internet schwankt! Von 0,2 Mbs/s bis 10 Mbs/s. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig. Am Ende einer Sackgasse.

We had a great stay at the villa. Our kids loved the courtyard and all the rooms being entered directly from the courtyard. It is in a great location with easy access to lots of good restaurants, cafes and bakers in Lajares and then very close to a number of different beaches. We did have a little issue with the wi-fi being slow and tempermental but because we were on holiday it didn't bother us too much but would have have been an issue if we needed a reliable source such as if we were working.

Ein tolles Haus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, super ausgestattet - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch Übergabe und Kommunikation prima und völlig unkompliziert. Wir hatten eine super schöne Woche, die leider viel zu schnell vorüber war. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank Julie!

This Villa was amazing. It is in a really peaceful location yet only 3 minutes walk to the centre of Lajares where there are lots of places to eat. Julia was a wonderful host and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again.

The pool is lovely and even on the hottest days the design of the house means it stays cool.It is well equipped and the manager is quick to deal with anything that goes a miss. If and when we go back , we will look to go back here.

This villa is perfect. I’ve stayed in it many times. The location is peaceful and on the edge of the volcano trails. A steady walk will take you to the centre of Lajares. Looking forward to returning next year!

The villa was very pleasant and set in a tranquil location away from the the centre of Lajares at the base of the volcano. Unfortunately we spent most of our time away from the villa looking around the island and at the beach in the near by town of El Cotillo. We had been unfortunate with the weather at the villa and although bright and sunny, we caught exceptionally breezy conditions for the time of year and blowing in across the exposed area around the villa, so made it difficult to sit out by the pool area. The pool itself was lovely, clean and pleasantly warm, but getting out into the stong winds made you feel very cold. Also we managed to pick a time of year when there had been issues with local water supply and so there was no running water at the villa and so when at the villa, we made do with buying large bottles of water from the local supermarket for washing and toilets etc. We appreciate that these things are outside of the control of the owners, and am sure it would have been a more pleasant stay under more normal circumstances. The local town of Lajares was pleasant with a good selection of friendly restaurants and shops and travel to the coasts at Corralejo and El Cotillo was quick and easy. All in all we had an enjoyable stay despite everything.

This Villa was amazing. It is in a really peaceful location yet only 3 minutes walk to the centre of Lajares where there are lots of places to eat. Julia was a wonderful host and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again.

2 weeks stay in this beautiful villa. Perfectly located within LaJares and easy to travel and explore the island from here.

We have stayed in the area before and you will need a car to get about, but don’t let that put you off. The village is growing and the local facilities (restaurants and shops) are excellent . A short drive away is the stunning beach of El Cotillo , and the busy town of Corralejo. The house is on the edge of the village so is lovely and private/quiet. The pool is lovely and even on the hottest days the design of the house means it stays cool.It is well equipped and the manager is quick to deal with anything that goes a miss. If and when we go back , we will look to go back here.
