Room was clean , breakfast was very nice. Just didn’t like that you need to walk across to the other hotel for breakfast.

Good stay, There was an renovation going on in IBIS, no problems with that as breakfast and check inn was at the Novotel next door,

The stay was good the only complaint I would say is that the breakfast and checkin are across the street at the Novotel. Otherwise a decent stay for the price.

Great hotel in a great location. We had no breakfast, but the room was clean and big as it was wheelchair-accessible as hubby need a mobility scooter, and we could take that into the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The car park was next door and with reasonable prices. The TV had Netflix and the TV programme was available in English, German, Italien, Flamish, French and also some Asian languages. The hotel is located in the middle of the medieval town centre of Bruges, which is one of the most beautiful medieval town centres in Europe, which was not destroyed in WWII and everything is original. Shops, restaurants and everything one would want is available by walking distance from the hotel. We would always come back and would recommend to anybody. Just wonderful, we loved it. xx

Dieses Ibis-Hotel gibt es eigentlich gar nicht mehr, es wurde wohl von Novotel übernommen. Die Rezeption liegt im gegenüberliegenden Novotel. Ibis Hotel alt, abgewohnt, schmuddelig, eher schmutzig. Das erste Zimmer war noch nicht gereinigt, Aufzug defekt. Duschschlauch defekt, die Hälfte des Wassers kam nicht an der Brause, sondern am kaputten Schlauch heraus, das Bad war pitschnass. Bett bzw Matratze total durchgelegen. Mülleimer defekt. Kosmetiktücher leer. Lage sehr gut. Parkhaus direkt daneben, kein teures Parken über das Hotel nötig.

Great location, 15 min walk from the train and 10 min to all the sights. Check in/out was seemless for an auto check in/out.

For the money this hotel is excellent. Yes it’s a budget hotel and that’s reflected in the price but it’s exceptional for a budget stay. It’s modern, clean, there’s a Carrefour just over the road, there’s parking next door, the reception facilities are excellent. You get complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The main town is within a 10 minute walk and there are breakfast spots and gorgeous restaurants within 3 minutes. Brugge train station is only 15 minutes walk. The bathroom was modern and clean and the bed was comfy. If I had to be critical at all it’s that the roof was compact and a little dark but, honestly, this is me being very picky.

The hotel was due a refurbishment so we had to cross a small courtyard to a neighbouring Novotel for breakfast and to use the bar. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel itself was clean and the staff friendly. It was about a ten minutes walk to the main square in Brugge. There is an excellent little free bus from Brugge train station which stops about 500 yards from this hotel. (It's first stop). We would recommend the horse and carriage ride, a boat trip around the canals and rivers, a trip to the oldest pub in Brugge, Vlissinghe and just a general walk around the beautiful little back streets as well as the main tourist areas.

La camera è piuttosto piccola ma pulita e carina, però ho trovato fastidioso dover fare la registrazione al pc dell’hotel per il check-in. La colazione viene servita nell’hotel di fronte, se piove non è comodo dover attraversare il piazzale, inoltre trovo il prezzo della colazione eccessivo. Ho potuto parcheggiare l’auto nel silos nelle vicinanze, questo è stato un aspetto positivo.

Convenient location. Clean rooms. If staying at the ibis, it was not ideal that they had the front desk and the bar closed. Guest are asked to go to neighbor hotel for check in and out. Would prefer to not have to leave the building at night for bar. And also the lines at checkout were longer as they had 1 staff for 2 hotels.

We came home and where bitten by bed bugs

Me and my wife have stayed for two nights and we have severe bites all over us. I woke up several times in the middle of the night itching and uncomfortable, and had to take a shower at 4:30am due to my distress. Since checking out we have discovering numerous bites all over our bodies. I have felt more than 50 bites on my body, and they are extremely itchy and uncomfortable; my wife is similar. Following checkout to see if anyone had a similar experience we looked at some reviews. One other review we found revealed someone had the same experience as us. The hotel said that the room they stayed in was treated for such pests and deemed safe - this was clearly not the case, and the hotel confirmed they would be trying alternative methods to remove them. I am in contact with the hotel to see what compensation they can offer. They currently stated that they have closed the room to get specialists to inspect the room.

Mükemmel bir kahvaltı, temiz ortam. Fakat oda çok küçük. Klimalar merkezi sistem olduğu için yazın yağmurlu havada ısıtıcı olarak klima kullanılmıyor.

Das Hotel ist so lala, unser erste Zimmer war dreckig, kaputten und engen Toilette. Wir haben einen zweiten Zimmer bekommen nachdem wir darüber bei der Rezeption waren, der war ein bisschen besser. Das hotel soll in letzten April renoviert worden sein... na ja.

Easy check in, convenient car park. The room was comfortable and clean. We spoke with one staff member who was friendly, professional and helpful.

We knew staying in a 3 star wouldn't be great in terms of aesthetics but I expected cleanliness and a comfortable bed for over 100 euro a night. The room wasn't cleaned as well as could be. The windows have mildew, the toilet rim was black if you looked from the right angle, generally cleaning was not thorough enough, We also had a an infestation of mosquitoes, plus evidence (very squashed mosquitoes) that this isn't a new thing on the walls and ceilings where other guests have obviously tried to deal with the issue. We were both bitten 8+ times on our arms and backs, and I am extremely allergic - but did not expect this in January in Belgium! The room was also way too hot and our AirCon didn't work - opening the window helped but then we couldn't sleep for the road noise. Between the itching, trying to kill mosquitoes, road noise, and being too hot - we slept really badly and would not stay again.

Room was quite loud at night. Not very soundproof.

This is an old hotel. Reception is in the newer building across the courtyard, where breakfast is also. The room was clean but very small. We would have been ok with that BUT the bathroom set up was a joke. The toilet was installed in such a tight space, your knees hit the wall and the sink was about 12 inches in diameter (like for a 4 y/o). It is centric so that made us overlook these faults. Oh, and breakfast was great. We had to leave early and at 6:30am everything was set up, so had the opportunity to enjoy it before taking off.

Great location for anyone wanting to stay in Bruges and be surrounded by great restaurants and historical places. My only complaint would be thr room, not great lighting in the room and the bathroom shower doesn't have a full curtain or glass door so water goes everywhere. There is a parking garage right next to the hotel if you're driving a vehicle but the area is extremely walkable.

The bathroom is so badly designed that it is impossible to sit on the toilet as they have placed it at 90 degrees to the room and not enough space for your legs when sitting down!!!!!

As a budget conscious couple, we found this hotel ideally located, 15 mins walk from the train station and close to the main tourist area of Bruges. Our room had the basics and was very clean, housekeeping did a wonderful job each day. Not very soundproof, but for the price and location, we were happy with what Ibis offered.

We had stayed at the house Ibis hotel before Covid so sort of knew what to expect. My rating is slightly mixed because what we were not made aware of, was the ibis is now run by the Novotel (literally just cross from the ibis) The woman on reception at the ibis was a bit demur if I’m honest and seemed to push is over to the Novotel to check in which was what we then did. Check in was a bit confusing which was really down to Expedia: It said pay at the hotel and was showing paid there end but not at mine and actually. Wasn’t charged till our last day. Also confusion over over the city tax which you usually pay hotel. This was actually charged by Expedia which confused the guys on reception. My partner was charged for the city tax on his credit card and then they refunded it. Note to Expedia…. You need to make this more clearer and smoother please and also a note explaining that both hotels were now merged might have been helpful. On the positive front, staff at the Novotel where the lovely welcoming bar was really a great place to have a drink. It would be wrong of us to single out anyone particular as all the guys working hard were very welcoming and you actually wanted to be at the bar. So please thank them for making us feel welcome. Bruge is such a delight to visit, it’s our fourth visit all in all but first visit since Covid so we all know life is t quite the same so it’s really pleasing to find the charm of this place is still present. Keep up the good work.

Yet another wonderful stay here and fantastic to see the hotel has had a an entire make over. It looks fabulous now. Staff are always friendly and the room very comfortable. This has been our go-to hotel for the past three years and many more to come. See you next year! Much love.

Unfriendly receptionist, 3rd floor room with dormer window had a wooden beam in the shower that reduced the space significantly. Toilet was so close to the wall that neither my wife or I could use it properly.

La estancia del lugar muy adecuada en el mero centro, fácil acceso a la zona turística, y restoranes. El hotel nuevo de lujo, PERO me solicitaron 100 e de depósito al ingreso que fueron cargados a mi cuenta quedando que habría una devolución automática al momento del check out, misma que a 24 horas no ha sido devuelta, por lo que solicito su intervención para solucionar esta situación

Prima hotel om de hoek van het stadscer

Great location! Very walkable to the train station and city center. Bed was comfortable. Shower was a little awkward as it is a very high step to get into it but otherwise fine.

Very close to everthing we wanted to do and easy parking too.

I was staying and looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay in Bruges. It is a short walk to the centre and still within the old town. It is an affordable and convenient place to stay.

Mycket fint hotell som ligger centralt. Parkering finns tillgänglig intill i garage. Bra frukost och service i fräscha lokaler.

Muy limpio, muy céntrico y el desayuno muy rico

Excellent breakfast with many choices. Nice room but could be bigger. Bar fridge was a nice feature.

Location wise the hotel is great. The Breakfast in the Novotel was good, except they kept running out of bread, which seems odd. The rooms are old and tired. The bathroom is designed for contortionists, anyone over 1.85m will have their knees around their ears whilst using the toilet - possibly the worst designed hotel bathroom in the western world! The air condition sounded like a kid playing a drum, the alternative of leaving the window open was to invite all the local mosquitoes for a midnight feast. Stay across the way at the Novotel until the rooms are upgraded.
