The Clifton Motel

Property was tatty and in need of modernisation and updating. Very old fashioned and badly worn furniture, horrible floor length tablecloth with large tear in it. No plugs to charge mobiles, laptops etc, only one plug with a lamp plugged in under the sideboard. Faces of tiles in bathroom broken and missing.

Easy access, plenty of parking but found smokers sitting outside our room so could not open balcony doors.

The room was very comfortable and the staff were delightful. Walking distance to everything. Very happy with my stay. Would recommend to others.

Safety of egress from carpark onto Clifton Road - very dangerous. RV vehicle obscuring vision. We were missing teacups. No bike racks. No water-saving shower head. Very thin toilet paper that means you have to use copious amount! Reduce single use plastics by installing refillable bottles in bathroom and shower.
