Ads for this motel feature pictures of the indoor pool which has not been operational for some time. We booked 4 nights and were told the pool wouldn't be open during our stay. The ads are misleading given the pool was the reason we booked this motel. No discount was offered. Otherwise, a very clean and basic place to stay. Staff were friendly.

An older Hotel, conveniently located for our needs, unfortunately the Hotel is older, has not been updated or renovated in MANY years. Seems to be used for long term stay more than overnight stays, and the pool was basically unavailable for us as the desk clerk said it was leased for private Swimming Lessons during all the hours it was open. We were slightly disappointed this information was not available on Hotels.com

Parking area not well lit.no sign as to where the main entrance was.

Internet went out every night and only worked both mornings after we complained. The second morning the breakfast was cold and the hash browns were not cooked and barely unfrozen.

Clean, comfy beds, staff is very helpful and friendly. Wifi is not great, but good place to stay for a short visit.

Their indoor pool was not working but they advertised it was available. They should have noted that on the website so we could have chose another location. We had access to a stove and full size fridge but that was not listed. We could have brought cutlery and dishes so we could have ate there.

I really liked the location of the Dutch Inn and I liked how we had housekeeping every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful :) The laundry services were good though its basement location was a little sketchy. We appreciated that we could get laundry change and detergent at the front desk. We didn't use the pool since it wasn't being cleaned regularly. The breakfast was okay, not very colourful: lots of carbs (bread for toast, mini croissants, small muffins/donuts/cinnamon rolls/two-bite brownies, hashbrowns) with over-hard eggs, yogurt, and coffee/caffeinated tea/apple juice/orange juice/water/milk. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a kitchenette and full-sized washroom, and LOTS of towels. We would stay here again, though I'd buy myself extra colourful breakfast food at the grocery store to go along with the beige breakfast, and I wouldn't expect to use the pool next time.

SO CLEAN! We loved the area and the layout was super cute. It had everything we needed. We will be back!

Very clean, would stay there again

The pull out couch had a dirty sock and compress in the sheets and the bathroom smell strong of urine.

Pleasant people, great service, very clean quiet room. When we got back on our second day the room had been made up immaculately.

Moldy musty smell in the room.mold around bath tub. TV the size of a laptop. No real cable stations of any kind. Very limited breakfast. Very noisy bathroom fan. Would not recommend!

Terrible terrible terrible. Our room was soo dirty, underneath the bed was full of old food, garbage, food wrappers and dirt. The shower was full of someone else's hair on the shower walls shelves and shower floor, even the shower taps had hair on them. The bathroom window screen had a huge hole in it and was covered up with red tuck tape. Spider and web up in the corner of the shower. Lamp shape was horribly stained, walls were dirty, someone else's hair underneath the pillows on the bed. Tile floor was breaking and crumbling away in the bathroom. Hallway floors were dirty and stained as well as the walls. Wouldn't dare eat the complementary breakfast there if thats how they keep their rooms. Wish it could have been better. Would not recommend.

Besides the dirt on the floor and the hair in the shower it’s pretty run down I would recommend a different hotel

Il avais des araignées dans la chambre, des papillons de nuit et des vers par terre. Ont attendant tout les voisins monter et decendre les marches ainsi que l’eau des salle de bain. La seul choses qui était propre c’est nos draps de lit. Des tâches degeux un peu partout dans la chambre. Vraiment pas propre.

Room was very big….but very old and dingy. Carpets in halls very stained. Bed was clean and comfortable…a big bonus!!! This was the only hotel available so it was a last resort for our group. I would only ever use again as a last resort. Painting in the parking lot was ridiculous when SO MUCH NEEDS TO BE DONE INSIDE.

I would not choose to stay here again. The property is in poor condition with moody grout and a lot of scale in the shower head. The chair upholstery was stained. The TV was tiny and not positioned to be seen from the bed. It was pretty noisy from other guests. On the plus side, there were plenty of clean towels and the beds were not uncomfortable.

The sink in the bathroom was blocked. The cable box didn't work twice. The pool and sauna were unavailable. There was a minor smell of old. The placement of the TV made no sense.

The hotel is installing new a/c units that are lovely. It made for a great nights sleep!!

Nice big room clean and quite.

The staff were very courteous and accommodating. The breakfast was good and included eggs and hashbrowns. Unfortunately, we had no hot water one morning. Also, our bed in room 125 was hard as a rock.

Absolutely terrible stay. Extremely outdated. Room did not have a proper air reconditioning unit. Air conditioning unit sat on floor. Air conditioner was extremely loud, we did not sleep all night. We unplugged air conditioner, but were sweating after 10 minutes. We did not touch the continental breakfast. TV only offered 13 channels. Pool area was not up to code - electrical wires were hanging from ceiling. Very overpriced, for a sleepless night.

It is not a hotel, it is a converted motel. It compares poorly against hotels but well against other motels. The two bedroom suite had a large picture window onto a magnificent rural vista which was unusable because it opened onto the corridor. The linens were good. The suite was clean except the bathroom needs renovation. Floors were hard throughout. Each bedroom had loud window A/C. The bedroom windows had views of farms. All the doors creaked and stuck when the A/C was used in summer making it hard to avoid waking others. The furniture was good quality. The two bedrooms were small and the kitchenette/living room area was large. The kitchen had all appliances but no dishes or dish soap were supplied. The pool was in good condition. Breakfast quality and selection were poor.

To be honest I was actually very skeptical about the place when I first booked it as it was not the typical places that I booked on our 10 day road trip, however our room was amazing, very clean spacious, beds we’re comfortable, only thing was AC seemed like it could not be controlled even though we changed the temperature , we could however would leave the window crack open for fresh cool air. Breakfast was OK, it could have been more efficient as people had to wait for coffee to be re filled a few times. I still give it a 5 star because of the room!

Accessibility is good, but the facilities are old and upstairs has wooden floors, so I can hear very load movement late at night.

Arrived Tuesday July 18th / housekeeping was done on the following day, Wed. That was the only day that housekeeping was done during the whole of our stay, reported the lack of housekeeping Thur eve, was promised it would get done Fri. - wasn't, had to pick up towells, (bath & hand), face cloths and to express my displeasure about the housekeeping not being done on Sat / parking lot surface was being coated with sealer thus a large part of the parking area was off limits / overall the envelope of the bldng is in reasonably good shape but there is the commencement of deterioration. Feel the owner is well meaning but may be being overwhelmed as a result of being overstretched with far to many respnsibilities. There's a whole lot that I'm not aware of, I'm sure

Workers and management were very nice, understanding and accommodating. Unfortunately while we were there there was a very inappropriate guest being very rude to the front desk that was completely uncalled for, but the front desk handled the situation professionally and with composure. Breakfast was included and room was clean and neat.

We recently stayed at Dutch Inn and overall, most of our experience was positive. The rooms were comfortable, the amenities were what we expected, and the majority of the staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Unfortunately, there was one staff member we encountered several times—during booking, check-in, and in the evenings—whose unfriendly and dismissive manner made our stay less enjoyable. This same staff member also spoke with our friends who were planning to book a stay with us, and the interaction was so negative that they decided to take their business down the road to another establishment. We weren’t aware of our friend’s poor interaction until we mentioned ours later in the weekend. We don’t want one individual to overshadow the rest of the staffs efforts. Still, given how often we had to deal with this particular employee, it did impact our overall impression of the hotel. With some attention to guest service consistency, we believe this hotel could provide a wonderful experience for all visitors.

The stay is excellent, the staff is friendly and very helpful. My wife and I found the room very clean and well kept. The service was good and definitely got our moneys worth.

Donna at the front deska is a kind and hospitable overall lovely person. She provided anything I requested with a friendly smile. Donna made the stay a wonderful one!

This property needs a lot of work. Arrived at 6pm room was not ready till 8:30.

Great hotel staff, beds are very comfortable

Dutch Inn was a great find for us! The price was very reasonable a breakfast was included abd parking was free. Its an old school motel which is spacious and clean. The staff were the best - so friendly and very attentive to anything you need! Highly recommended!

Upon reservation on website the photos did not match up to their actual property when we arrived. When we checked in, they required a credit card. We provided one and they hand written the number on a piece of paper which could have been accessible to anyone at any given time, being there was not always someone at the front desk. We did reserve online with the understanding that the property was up to standards as per website description and photos of the property. We checked in and went down to the pool area, the sauna was out of order and looked like it has been out of order for a while based on its condition. We inquired and were informed the sauna was down for a few years. The pool area wasn’t overly clean, the smell of chlorine was not noticeable. There was algae along the deck of the pool. Our room was “stayable” but had many questionable things. Doors were barely on hinges and scraped across floor hard when closing. The sink faucet was very loose and would turn the entire base. The wall plugs were very used and things plugged in wouldn’t stay completely plugged in and not charge some of our electronics. The bathroom tile work was really poor and full tiles had grout and caulk all over the face. The carpet in hallways was not vacuumed for the 3 days we were there and noticeably dirty. The breakfast was poor, all carbs. No fruit, no sort of meat, eggs were hit or miss. Based on the price for this property, i would not recommend or reserve this property again.

A good place to rest while on vacation in PEI. Staff were very friendly. Good continental breakfast. Good location.

There is a rural farm nearby, so it was nice to be able to feel the rural scenery. It was especially nice to see black cows grazing nearby while eating breakfast. It is not too far from downtown, so there is no need to stay in the expensive downtown area if having a rental or own car. However, I stayed in a room equipped with an induction stove and kitchen, but the induction stove did not work, and it did not have dishes or plates, so it seems to have been operated in the past.

A hidden gem. Good location. Fast & Friendly staff. Breakfast was more than expected. About a 15 min drive to downtown.

Its a older property but well kept, location is spot on. Price was great compared to areas around.

We stayed for one night - meeting family driving across the bridge the next day. Staff were very friendly and helpful as it was our first time in PEI. It is an older property but was very clean and had a nice breakfast included. It was a short drive to the confederation bridge and we’d definitely stay there again.

A perfect location for our short visit to PEI. Close to Charlottetown and Brackley beach. Amazing staff and accomodations with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Do not hesitate to book a room!

The property is operated by a family, and they were most helpful. For us, it was a very clean and quiet place in Cornwall, PEI. It was central to our needs, and we only used it for sleeping after good days of touring the Island and it's many sites.

Checkin was smooth and easy and staff were very nice. Motel is in the middle of no where so nothing walkable. Perfect though for a one night stop.

Continental breakfast was great. Great ambiance. Good AC. Fresh Beds

No breakfast available makes it realllly inconvient. An hour on the road before we could get

The hotel is a bit dated. We are happy with the staff they are very friendly. Breakfast is good, they even gave some fresh blueberries, something we don’t get from other hotels.

This is an older inn and the owners look to be repairing many parts of the motel. The swimming pool was closed due to repairs. The rooms were clean but in needs of tlc. Breakfast was ok but lacked variety. For $229 per night taxes included, it seemed to be overpriced for what was offered.
