２歳前の子供と宿泊しました。古いホテルですが綺麗にしてあり、子供に優しく快適でした。朝ごはんも種類が豊富で、子供用の椅子も用意してもらえました。またプールも子供が入れる水深のエリアもありました。お風呂が滑りやすいのと、シャワーヘッドが固定タイプなのでそこだけ注意です。

Bra hotell, veldig sentralt i Chiang Rai, gangavstand fra Night Bazaar, flott svømmebasseng, Safe virket ikke og måtte skiftes da vi kom, men det ble ordnet med en gang.

The best feature of the Wiang Inn is its excellent location, a short walk from Chiang Rai’s night bazaar. And there is a very good swimming pool. The hotel breakfast is pretty good, though not great, but the décor in the dining room is very pleasant, with interesting iron sculptures and lamps all around in traditional Thai motifs. One major irritation we had in both of our adjoining rooms was Wi-Fi service that kept going in and out, and which the hotel staff had no means of correcting. I think the problem might have been related to the router on our floor, but moving the two rooms to address that shortcoming really wasn’t an option, so the four of us tried workarounds, like my iPhone hotspot, which used up a lot of my plan’s data.

The hotel was quite dated, but the location was good and it was close to everything. Staff were nice, especially at breakfast. Breakfast was quite limited and mainly Asian food, but they were happy to make eggs and omelettes for you if requested. The biggest disappointment was the pool. We had partially picked the hotel because of the pool, as we'd just arrived from the UK and wanted to get some sun while we were there. The pool is in the most ridiculous location, such that there is no point in the day when it gets any sun at all. It's hard to imagine anyone designing a hotel with a completely shaded-at-all times pool, but that's what's happened here. It's therefore virtually useless, so if you're after a hotel with a pool, I'd suggest trying somewhere else.

Das Personal ist sehr nett. Die Zimmer sind aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Sauberkeit lässt ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig. Bettlaken waren voll von Haaren und Flecken. Sie haben es zwar gewechselt auf unseren Wunsch, aber auch der "neue" Bezug war dreckig. Für 1 Nacht war es okay. Buffet am Morgen war zwar gross. Jedoch nicht wirklich geniessbar. Rührei schmeckte nach Chemie und die Auswahl war sehr auf asiatische Gäste ausgerichtet.

L'hotel ha bisogno di una forte ristrutturazione in quanto tutto l'arredamento è datato, soprattutto il bagno. Ma la cosa più grave è la pulizia del bagno, quando siamo arrivati la doccia era così sporca che abbiamo dovuto chiedere in reception di farla pulire nuovamente. Hanno mandato subito un ragazzo a pulirla ma comunque la pulizia non è quella consona di un hotel. Colazione buona ma non eccellente e il personale è gentile: ci hanno tenuto le valigie per il tempo che ci occorreva. Posizione ottima, vicino la stazione e vicino al night bazar.

Hôtel en plein centre ville, à 12 km de l aéroport international. A 2 pas de Night Bazaar Market, et de de la gare routière bus terminal 1, où vous trouverez de nombreux bus pour plusieurs provinces de la Thailande, en particulier pour Chiang Khong (Pont de l amitié) à la frontière du Laos. Un grand hôtel et un personnel au standing d un 4 étoiles. Les chambres sont propres, mais a besoin d un réel rafraîchissement.

We stayed here for four nights. Plus: good location right near night market. Staff was all pleasant. Minus: wifi in room was terrible. We consistently were getting kicked out and needed to keep putting password in. When it worked, it was very slow. We informed the front desk on our first day but it didn’t get better. Shower didn’t drain and electric outlet next to bed didn’t initially work, but both were promptly fixed.Property is in need of substantial refresh.

The best feature of the Wiang Inn is its excellent location, a short walk from Chiang Rai’s night bazaar. And there is a very good swimming pool. The hotel breakfast is pretty good, though not great, but the décor in the dining room is very pleasant, with interesting iron sculptures and lamps all around in traditional Thai motifs. One major irritation we had in both of our adjoining rooms was Wi-Fi service that kept going in and out, and which the hotel staff had no means of correcting. I think the problem might have been related to the router on our floor, but moving the two rooms to address that shortcoming really wasn’t an option, so the four of us tried workarounds, like my iPhone hotspot, which used up a lot of my plan’s data.

A 2 pas de Night Bazaar Market, et de de la gare routière bus terminal 1, où vous trouverez de nombreux bus pour plusieurs provinces de la Thailande, en particulier pour Chiang Khong (Pont de l amitié) à la frontière du Laos. Un grand hôtel et un personnel au standing d un 4 étoiles. Les chambres sont propres, mais a besoin d un réel rafraîchissement.

Old and worn out interior. Had to switch rooms because of bugs in the first one. Shower was not cleaned properly. Breakfast selection was ok. Laundry service closed the days I was there.

The hotel was quite dated, but the location was good and it was close to everything. Staff were nice, especially at breakfast. Breakfast was quite limited and mainly Asian food, but they were happy to make eggs and omelettes for you if requested. The biggest disappointment was the pool. We had partially picked the hotel because of the pool, as we'd just arrived from the UK and wanted to get some sun while we were there. The pool is in the most ridiculous location, such that there is no point in the day when it gets any sun at all. It's hard to imagine anyone designing a hotel with a completely shaded-at-all times pool, but that's what's happened here. It's therefore virtually useless, so if you're after a hotel with a pool, I'd suggest trying somewhere else.

On arrival we were alloted 2 rooms. The air conditioner in both rooms was not working and it was very hot. Upon complaining about this the reception shifted our rooms twice before finally giving us 2 rooms where the AC was working. We lost a good 3 to 4 hours in the process which was bad as we were tired and wanted to rest before getting out and about. The location of the hotel though is excellent with the night markets within a 5 to 10 min walking distance from the hotel. I must admit that after the initial hiccup with the room AC our stay at the hotel was not too bad. The breakfast at the hotel was good with a variety of food and fruits available.
