Beautifully appointed room. Quiet and private location. Well appointed gym although very small. Nice pool and sauna but with weird rules that aren’t obviously published anywhere - expect a telling off from the ‘wellness’ staff if you don’t follow the mystery rules! Bar is very nice, a great space to relax and service there was outstanding. Restaurant looked lovely too, but with dinner service not starting until 7pm, we didn’t bother - plenty of other equally good/better options nearby. We didn’t have a car, but the bus and trams in Bordeaux are cheap, regular and safe, and the hotel is less than five minutes from stops in almost every direction.

Beautifully new but architecturally strong. Lovely indoor heated pool and saunas. I liked the fact that it was away from city centre. Parking expensive though.

Architecturally the hotel is very pleasing to the eye with the limestone exterior and modern entrance. The hotel is in very good condition and smells lovely. All of the facilities were excellent and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Valentin, Enzo, Pierre and Barbara. The rooms and bathroom were very stylish and clean. The hotel was busy but there was minimal noise in the rooms even at the weekend. Food in the restaurant was good but I wouldn’t really bother with breakfast. There are plenty of bakeries nearby. The restaurant manager, Clemance, came over to talk to us and was very pleasant, as was Elodie who served us. While the hotel is far from the golden triangle you can get there in 10 minutes in an uber or the tram which is less than 10 minutes walk away. I preferred the distance as Chartrons is quieter. There are lots of restaurants nearby especially around Halle Des Chartrons. The pizza place next to the hotel is good for a quick pizza. I didn’t go for a swim but the pool looked very nice. The gym has 2 treadmills, a rower and an elliptical. There are plenty of weights but only one bench. All the equipment is new techno gym. The courtyard is also great to sit in. I would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel.

Property is beautiful and staff are incredible. It is a 15 minute walk into the main area of Bordeaux however if you plan to visit wineries and are driving yourself, this is a wonderful option as you can park your car here which isn’t an option at the hotels in the centre de ville. 5-star experience.

Loved the modern style and luxury of this hotel, the quality of the bed, bathroom fixtures, towels, coffee (Lavazza in room) Didn’t like how dim in room lighting was and gym a bit sub par for a luxury hotel. Other issues: - I arrived after 11 PM, and person at front was unable to check me in and took >10 minutes to get someone who could. Did not offer me welcome drinks that came with my reservation; had to ask someone else the next day. inflexible with a late checkout without paying, and although let me to use the gym there was no place to shower. Overall, I felt checkout experience was overly rigid considering I departed on a non sold out Sunday. The other disappointment was persistent notification of staff about a broken bracket/handwash on floor. Staff said would fix multiple times and never did. Twice came into broken cleanser, and bracket on the floor

The property is immaculate, elegant and the service is definitely 5 star. Has a decent gym and a lovely indoor heated pool / steam room area that is great! The room layout itself was beautiful, well planned and spacious. The shower was super easy to figure out. Has a delicious breakfast buffet. Honestly, i will probably seek to stay here every time I return to Bordeaux.

Mostly good but could improve two important things. Entrance is not intuitive and upon arrival I entered the building through the doors immediately after the gates - which happens to be the restaurant. The Morimoto restaurant staff must see this frequently but they don’t offer guidance despite many staff seemingly unoccupied. Too eco-conscious. They did not change towels left on the floor or replace toiletries when clearly empty.

We stayed 4 days in this beautiful hotel, and it was amazing, since you enter through the door the staff is extremely kind. The facilities are modern, clean and beautiful, the rooms are elegant and very comfortable. The restaurant is excellent. It’s close of the main attractions but at the same time far from the noise. I highly recommend this Hotel.

Staff was very pleasant and as helpful as they could be. Refrigerator in our room was unplugged and was not cooling which caused all we had there to spoil. We were supposed to receive 2 complimentary drinks upon arrival but no one offered and we did not realize till we checked out. Rooms are very clean, new but a bit tight. great patio, great restaurant and spa.

The hotel is a great place to stay, from the valet parking on arrival to the charming check in staff everything went smoothly. The rooms were sheer luxury and well equiped, great lighting and a comfortable bed. I would recommend staying here and would be happy to return.

Beautiful hotel with polite, friendly staff. Room was perfect and had three excellent nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. It's slightly outside of the main centre but there's a tram 10 minutes walk away so transport is available. A big plus was the size of the safe. Often in hotels the safe can be quite small but the room I stayed in had no problem accommodating a 15 inch laptop and camera equipment. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Viaje de aniversario por Bordeaux, llegamos al hotel 3:30 y después de 15min de fila a hacemos check in para que nos digan que el cuarto no está listo. Después de tour por la ciudad, llegamos como 9:20 a que nos den un cuarto. Muy bonito pero no sirve el AC. Muchas llamadas a recepción y finalmente nos cambian de cuarto a uno muy bonito y amplio pero con mucha luz y mucho ruido pues es el último (138). El día siguiente en el bar muy lento y malo el servicio. El hotel es muy bonito y tal vez tuvimos mala suerte.

Loved the modern style and luxury of this hotel, the quality of the bed, bathroom fixtures, towels, coffee (Lavazza in room) Didn’t like how dim in room lighting was and gym a bit sub par for a luxury hotel. Other issues: - I arrived after 11 PM, and person at front was unable to check me in and took >10 minutes to get someone who could. Did not offer me welcome drinks that came with my reservation; had to ask someone else the next day. inflexible with a late checkout without paying, and although let me to use the gym there was no place to shower. Overall, I felt checkout experience was overly rigid considering I departed on a non sold out Sunday. The other disappointment was persistent notification of staff about a broken bracket/handwash on floor. Staff said would fix multiple times and never did. Twice came into broken cleanser, and bracket on the floor

Before we even arrived, Hugo was helping us coordinate wine tastings between the left and right bank wineries, and he did an amazing job. And we cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, including Margaux, Alexis and Tess!! These ladies were there at every turn making our stay as fabulous as possible!! The food was out of this world, and there aren’t many places where you can enjoy a Margaux by the glass. We loved every minute of it, and forward to coming back!

The hotel is a great place to stay, from the valet parking on arrival to the charming check in staff everything went smoothly. The rooms were sheer luxury and well equiped, great lighting and a comfortable bed. I would recommend staying here and would be happy to return.

The building and interior design is beautiful. Within walking distance to Citi Du Vin but a longer walk to main parts of Bordeaux. Staff are very polite and helpful but also quite often forgot our orders

The hotel needs to take further strides with improving customer services and enforcing diversity and inclusion. There were multiple occasions that occurred during the visit where the hotel fell below the standards of a five star establishment. I would not be returning unless extensive training has been given to key members. Despite the negative experience, Vincent was amazing and I cannot fault how he made our stay wonderful, despite these disgusting moments.

Hotel 100% Hotel Staff were fantastic, friendly and attentive. Room cleaning was 100% and the pool area fantastic. HOWEVER - restaurant staff were the opposite : -Asked for Menu 3 times on one occasion - did not turn up -4 of 5 drinks delivered to us had spilled on they tray -Food delivered when places was not set - had to wait further for implements -When requesting milk for the room - 2 x we’ll deliver it to your room failed - so waiting in reception was the option that worked - Free drinks voucher was met with - non non non .. you must order from a different drinks menu ?? Of course this turned up once after 3 requests .. TEACH your menu staff how to use a Tray and concentrate for more than 30 seconds when someone has a request. Food was good when you managed to get some . Restaurant - major FAIL!

Beautiful new hotel, very friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast buffet, air conditioning in a very hot week worked very well. It takes a 9 minute walk to catch the Metro B to get to all major places and restaurants in 5-15minutes. We can only recommend!

Very nice hotel and even better staff. We felt very well looked after. The area just around the hotel isn’t super interesting but it’s a quick ride to shopping and walking areas in the city center.

Amazing hotel, not in the center, but for us was the best option going out of the city everyday. The valet service was impeccable, rooms are beautiful, the smell in the hotel common areas were sublime, the best option for our stay in Bordeaux.

Architecturally the hotel is very pleasing to the eye with the limestone exterior and modern entrance. The hotel is in very good condition and smells lovely. All of the facilities were excellent and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Valentin, Enzo, Pierre and Barbara. The rooms and bathroom were very stylish and clean. The hotel was busy but there was minimal noise in the rooms even at the weekend. Food in the restaurant was good but I wouldn’t really bother with breakfast. There are plenty of bakeries nearby. The restaurant manager, Clemance, came over to talk to us and was very pleasant, as was Elodie who served us. While the hotel is far from the golden triangle you can get there in 10 minutes in an uber or the tram which is less than 10 minutes walk away. I preferred the distance as Chartrons is quieter. There are lots of restaurants nearby especially around Halle Des Chartrons. The pizza place next to the hotel is good for a quick pizza. I didn’t go for a swim but the pool looked very nice. The gym has 2 treadmills, a rower and an elliptical. There are plenty of weights but only one bench. All the equipment is new techno gym. The courtyard is also great to sit in. I would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel.

We stayed 4 days in this beautiful hotel, and it was amazing, since you enter through the door the staff is extremely kind. The facilities are modern, clean and beautiful, the rooms are elegant and very comfortable. The restaurant is excellent. It’s close of the main attractions but at the same time far from the noise. I highly recommend this Hotel.

Beautiful hotel with polite, friendly staff. Room was perfect and had three excellent nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. It's slightly outside of the main centre but there's a tram 10 minutes walk away so transport is available. A big plus was the size of the safe. Often in hotels the safe can be quite small but the room I stayed in had no problem accommodating a 15 inch laptop and camera equipment. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Beautiful modern hotel. I didn't give 5 stars because room service after 11pm is terrible (club sandwich was inedible) and you should be ok with a somewhat remote location (40 min walk from downtown)

Beautifully appointed room. Quiet and private location. Well appointed gym although very small. Nice pool and sauna but with weird rules that aren’t obviously published anywhere - expect a telling off from the ‘wellness’ staff if you don’t follow the mystery rules! Bar is very nice, a great space to relax and service there was outstanding. Restaurant looked lovely too, but with dinner service not starting until 7pm, we didn’t bother - plenty of other equally good/better options nearby. We didn’t have a car, but the bus and trams in Bordeaux are cheap, regular and safe, and the hotel is less than five minutes from stops in almost every direction.

The Mondrian is a modern, upscale hotel just outside Bordeaux’s historic center. The location is not premier, but the old city is easily accessible by car or bicycle. The hotel preserves its historical façade, but don’t expect a French château experience. Behind it is a contemporary structure of concrete, glass, and steel, with the rooms and atmosphere of a modern European business hotel. The team is young, friendly, and capable, and the Japanese restaurant is superb—definitely one of the highlights of the stay. However, some details fall short of a true five-star experience: inconsistent number and quality of towels replaced daily, limited attention to bed making, lack of branded toiletries, and occasional back-office activities visible to guests. These are issues that training and attention to detail can solve. Two shortcomings are more structural. The single driveway serves both taxis and valet parking, so one car can easily block traffic. More importantly, the room air conditioning is inadequate for an international five-star hotel. Even running continuously at its lowest setting, my room would not cool below 73°F (23°C). Overall, a pleasant modern hotel with a promising team and excellent restaurant, but still short of the consistency expected from a true five-star property.
The Mondrian is a modern, upscale hotel just outside Bordeaux’s historic center. The location is not premier, but the old city is easily accessible by car or bicycle. The hotel preserves its historical façade, but don’t expect a French château experience. Behind it is a contemporary structure of concrete, glass, and steel, with the rooms and atmosphere of a modern European business hotel. The team is young, friendly, and capable, and the Japanese restaurant is superb—definitely one of the highlights of the stay. However, some details fall short of a true five-star experience: inconsistent number and quality of towels replaced daily, limited attention to bed making, lack of branded toiletries, and occasional back-office activities visible to guests. These are issues that training and attention to detail can solve. Two shortcomings are more structural. The single driveway serves both taxis and valet parking, so one car can easily block traffic. More importantly, the room air conditioning is inadequate for an international five-star hotel. Even running continuously at its lowest setting, my room would not cool below 73°F (23°C). Overall, a pleasant modern hotel with a promising team and excellent restaurant, but still short of the consistency expected from a true five-star property.

O hotel é novo, o café da manhã é bem fraco, poucas opção e demoram a repor o que acaba. Além disso, o restaurantes funciona no mesmo ambiente do restaurante japonês e tem um cheiro de peixe o tempo todo.
