Moselromantik Hotel Kessler Meyer - Adults Only

Very nice spa hotel with extra helpful staff and wonderful service. The room was very hot with no AC on entry, but a fan was provided and opening the window allowed fresh air in which cooled the room over night. There was a balcony with a beautiful view of the castle. A bottle of wine along with two chocolates and a welcome drink at the bar were offered on arrival, and a bag with water and snacks was provided when leaving. Delicious drinks at the bar as well. I also utilized the swimming pool which was indoors and very refreshing. The spa area was large with seating and other amenities. Overall wonderful hotel and very helpful staff. Not walkable to Cochem central city but an easy drive or bike ride. Highly recommended.

Hotel liegt nicht in cochem sondern im Umland ca 45 min Fussweg zur Stadt. Zuwenig Parkplätze am Hotel, weitere nur mit 5-10 Minuten Fussweg erreichbar. Kein Essen im Hotel nur im Rahmen der Halbpension, sonst nichts, dass ist dann teuer und mittelmässig. Badezimmer viel zu klein. Insgesamt keinesfalls 4 Sterne, höchstens drei, insgesamt tu teuer.

Nice view of Cochem Burg, great breakfast and decent spa. Walk to the Burg on upper trail for more of a workout !

Vi blev mødt af et meget arogant personale, der pga manglende parkeringsforhold nærmest hånede os og var meget ligeglade med det besvær det påførte os som gæster. Vi blev henvist til en afsides belligende parkeringsplads. Ingen køl på værelserne, så det blev til et par varme nætter. Fluerne hyggede sig buffetten ikke lige det mest inspirerende. Ikke det man forventede af et 4 stjernet HOTEL.

Ein modern eingerichtetes Wellnes Hotel mit schöner Aussicht. Wir wurden mit Pralinen und einer Flasche Wein begrüsst. Der Wellness Bereich mit Schwimmbad ist sehr schön.

Wir waren für eine Übernachtung da und es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Abends waren wir im Wellness Bereich und ein sehr gepflegter, schöner Bereich. Die Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Das Bett sehr bequem. Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gegend sehr ruhig , in Nähe der Moselpromenade . Nach Cochem sind es zu Fuß ca. 10-15 min.

We stayed in one of the south-facing rooms (last minute booking) in the older part of the hotel, the rooms was comfortably furnished and a good size. There were many nice touches such as complementary chilled mineral water and a bottle of wine, an umbrella, a rucksack with water bottles that could be borrowed while staying at the hotel. The staff members were all well trained, very polite and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, there were so many choices of delicious food, even options of freshly cooked omelette. They also offered their own sparkling wine as an extra treat, which was delicious. Contrary to the hotel’s website, there is no à la carte menu in the evening but guests have to choose from a 3 course menu by 4 pm on the day, which is fine if one is already staying there but an inconvenience if one is travelling that day but would like to eat at the hotel. The evening meal was nice but we thought quite expensive for what it was. We regularly dine out in the UK in upmarket restaurants but the quantity and sophistication of the dishes, although nice, did not warrant the price of €55 per person. Having said this, we loved our stay at Hotel Kessler-Meyer and we are hoping to stop there again on our way through Germany to Austria.

Friendly staff, helpful. The room itself was a bit disappointing for the price. Bathroom was below standard, very, véry small. Room itself was okay, but also not so rich as expected for the money… spa is nice, breakfast was good.

Alles war richtig gut. Das Hotelzimmer könnte mehr Haken zum Aufhängen von Jacken, Handtücher, Bademänteln oder Pullovern haben.

Rommet var uten både aircondition og vifte. Det var over 30 grader i rommet og selv med både dør ut til gangen og balkongdør åpen, ble det en søvnløs natt. Kokvarmt.

War alles super! Uns fehlte im Zimmer eine Uhr und ein Papierkorb.

Mooi hotel met zeer comfortabele kamers en een heerlijk ontbijtbuffet! Ook het diner viel goed in de smaak, een echte aanrader.

Good hotel a little way out of cochem but we had a lovely one night stay nice little touches, wine water & 2 chocolates in the fridge, lovely breakfast and a nice departing gift of an apple bottle of water & biscuit

Für Vegetarier gab es in der Suppenauswahl an 4 Tagen in Folge nur die Option "Kürbissuppe", die jedesmal identisch war. Das Salatbuffet war auch immer überwiegend dasselbe. Hier wäre etwas mehr Abwechslung wünschenswert.

Trevligt rum med bra balkong, tyvärr var dynorna till utemöblerna lämnade ute i regn så det gick inte att använda när det blev bättre. Bra frukost och ok mat på restaurangen. Men jag tycker att en servitör i Moseldalen ska kunna rekommendera ett bra lokalt torrt vitt vin. Känslan överlag var att självbilden för restaurangen är bättre än den det faktiskt är. Personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam trots begränsad kommunikationsförmåga då vi inte pratar tyska och deras engelska var begränsad. Fin spa avdelning som hade tjänat på bättre instruktioner för hur anläggningen fungerar. Exempelvis var det en fontän i poolen som det var oklart hur man stänger av efter användning och den då förde oväsen i onödan.
