Hotel Monte Christo

Das Hotel diente für mich als kurzfristige Alternative, wobei die Lage der einzige positive Aspekt war. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und das Badezimmer ließ in puncto Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Zudem war bis spät in die Nacht durchdringender Lärm eines nahegelegenen Clubs zu hören, was den Schlaf erheblich beeinträchtigte. Am Sonntag gab es leider keine Möglichkeit, in der Nähe zu frühstücken, da der örtliche Bäcker geschlossen war. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist das Fehlen eines Aufzugs – für Gäste mit schwerem Gepäck bedeutet dies, die Koffer in den 1. oder 2. Stock tragen zu müssen. Für Geschäftsreisende ist dieses Hotel aus meiner Sicht nicht geeignet; für Personen, die das Nachtleben suchen, mag es eine akzeptable Option sein.

Centrally situated. In need of repair and a general upgrade. Very basic rooms all looking worn and tired. Not a hotel, more of a BnB guesthouse.

Bullrigt från gatan, wifi fanns men fungerar ej, litet och utan någon form av faciliteter. Anonymt läge och udda incheckning där rummen ligger i annan portingång. Rekommenderar ej längre vistelse än 1 natt

Very close to the Cologne Christmas markets and around the corner from a good underground parking garage. Great food and atmosphere in the area. Can be a little loud at night as the restaurants and bars close in the area but the mornings are quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

This is not a hotel at all. No lift, no gym, no staff, no laundry, no nothing. Terrible pillows. Under the bed, a thick pile of dirt. During our stay (yes, we stayed, because we payed in advance and had no money to go other place) nobody cleaned the room or the bathroom, or made the bed, or changed the towels. I was robbed. And I think Expedia should delete this "hotel" from their list.

Very basic hotel (well actually it doesn't feel like an hotel at all) with a small room and quite expensive for what you get.

The property was fine, though I wish it was clearer from the beginning that if you arrive late, you won't be able to get in and nobody will answer your messages. I needed to pay an urgent €250 to stay elsewhere as I couldn't get in on my first night. The bin also wasn't emptied from the previous occupant and the toilet roll was almost empty. The room itself was nice and quiet with a comfortable bed

Das Bad hatte Haaren überall, aus dem Fenster gab ein Altes Packet Fleisch was übel gestunken hat und ich habe Norovirus bekommen, ich kann mir nicht vorstellen dass es woanders war. 0 Punkte dieses mal. Sorry.

Rahat yatak, merkezi ve temiz

Unsauber, Haare in der Dusche, Matratze war so hart, da hätte man auch gleich auf dem Boden schlafen können, Fenster sind so schlecht isoliert, dass man mitten in der Nacht wegen Lärm aufwacht, man hört einfach alles von der Straße wie wenn das Fenster komplett offen wäre

Great for the price, super close to the centre, clean room and comfy bed

Exceptionally clean room with a comfortable bed 🛏️. Great location for getting around. Little bit of noise from the café on the corner but nothing to bother me. Spotless bathroom and great shower. Perfect for solo travel as we generally put up with a lot of inconvenience for not travelling with someone. I would do recommend this lovely place!

Konumu çok iyi. Katedrale ve çarşıya yürüme mesafesinde. Fakat temizlik konusunda pek iyi değildi. Banyo idrar kokuyordu ve küvette idrar lekeleri vardı.

Trotz geschlossener Fenster hat man alles von draußen mitbekommen und auch wenn jemand im Hotel unterwegs war, war es im Zimmer super laut. Im Bad war der Mülleimer nicht geleert worden und ich hatte den Müll meiner Vorgänger und der Fernseher hat leider nicht funktioniert. Fazit: toll gelegen, aber die Angabe "Schallisoliert" kann ich leider nicht bestätigen.

客室も綺麗で駅からも近く静かなホテルでよかったです。

Ich denke, der negativste Punkt, den ich erwähnen muss, ist, dass es keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer gab und es im Sommer sehr heiß ist und man in diesem Zustand nicht einmal schlafen kann. Ansonsten ist alles in Ordnung und ich würde wieder in diesem Hotel buchen.

Small room, but very well located.

The bed was one of the worst I've had this whole trip. There was no mattress they just had some sort of exercise mat with a sheet over it. I stayed on a couch bed in Paris and even that was better. It was super noisy too from a venue close by too.

Good location but no air conditioning during summer with no fan, very hot room

Very basic hotel (well actually it doesn't feel like an hotel at all) with a small room and quite expensive for what you get.

Pas d'accès internet dans la chambre demander à plusieurs reprises qu'ils viennent voir dans la chambre mais n'ont jamais accepter de venir constater. Vraiment de mauvaise foi

I made a mistake during the booking. The hotel was not able to respond in a timely or satisfactory manner. I understand the hotel was within its rights. But given this is the hotel I always choose for my work trips when in Cologne I maybe expected a bit more. Apparently customer loyalty means nothing. Hotel itself is good, that’s why I usually returned to the same place.

Es war alles unkompliziert mit dem Check in und dem Checkout, es gab noch einen Kaffee to Go, das Zimmer war sauber und alles zufriedenstellend. Zentrale Lage , das Hotel merken wir uns.

Hat uns sehr gefallen! Der Herr vom Empfang war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Lage ist super man ist direkt in der Innenstadt, aber es ist trotzdem ruhig und Preis-Leistung stimmt auch.

Ich hatte ein wunderschönes Zimmer, in das ich am liebsten eingezogen wäre. Gemütlich, schön eingerichtet, zentral. Super netter Manager.

Einen Tag vor Anreise hatte ich von mir aus meine zeitliche Ankunft durchgegeben. Bei diesem Telefonat wurde gar nicht nach meinem Namen gefragt und ich hatte den Eindruck, dass man abgelenkt war und mir nicht zuhört. Am Tage der Anreise wurde ich dann seitens der Unterkunft angerufen und um die Anreisezeit befragt. Der Check-in war unsympathisch. Zuvorkommenheit und Freundlichkeit sollten eher an den Tag gelegt werden als ein schroffer Verweis auf einen Infozettel an der Tür im Falle der Abwesenheit des Hoteliers bei Ankunft am Hotel. Auch die anderen beiden angekommenen Gäste waren irritiert und verärgert. Das Zimmer Nummer 8 liegt direkt an einem Treppenaufgang. Scheinbar sind die Wände sehr dünn und die Fenster undicht, denn das Zimmer war hellhörig und kalt. Es war ein deuticher Luftzug zu verspüren, was den Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft für mich persönlich unmöglich gemacht hat. Der Bettkasten ist ungemütlich, das Zimmer insgesamt nicht einladend. Ich kann eine Unterkunft dort nicht empfehlen.

Had a good experience. The person in the lobby was very cheerful and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The location is the hearth of Cologne so can walk everwhere. I ll stay here in my next visit too.

Mitten in der Einkaufszone. 10 min zu Fuß vom Bahnhof und zum Musical Dome. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür. Vom Bahnhof aus schnelle Verbindung S-Bahn und Zug wohin man will.

Das Hotel liegt in einer Nebenstraße der Fußgängerzone, insoweit geht es nicht zentraler. Fussläufig ist die U-Bahn in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
