La Revanche de Hugo - Front de Mer avec 4 Chambres !

This has been our second week at Hugo's Revenge since November 2025. That tells a lot. This beach house really works for us. The house is very clean and well stocked. The owner communicates quickly when needed. We really love the back porch and the view from the living room couch. We will be back again before next summer I am sure.

Amazing view of the ocean, great sunrises, and lots of wild life (dolphins, sea turtle, seal, and many birds). The house was well set up for a group with young kids. Well stocked on most cooking essentials, bedding, and beach toys! A little light on a few amenities for a week-long stay (not enough forks, bowls, TP and paper towels) but overall had what we needed. Mattresses and linens could use a replacement, but there was plenty of room for all of us to stay. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

The best thing about this well equipped house is its spectacular, private spot on the ocean!

The views from this home are stunning and the easy beach access were a huge plus. The unit was very clean upon arrival. The primary bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed being able to look at the view from the large sectional in the living room. The deck was also very enjoyable when the weather cooperated. However, this home has several maintenance issues particularly in the bathrooms that need to be addressed. We will forward the specifics to the owners as I do think with a small amount of effort they can be rectified easily. We ended up with half of our group not being able to join us, so with just the 2 of us we were able to work around them and still had a decent time but if the house had been full it would have been much more of a challenge. I do not think the kitchen is particularly well stocked for a large group (only 2 large coffee cups) the rest were plastic and very small and not a ton of bowls, cups, etc. Just something to keep in mind if you plan to eat in a lot. We were visiting in-laws so again were able to work around kitchen limitations as we had a 2nd place to eat and prepare food. If the maintenance issues could be addressed we would definitely consider renting the property again.

Great view and easy access to beach. Only 2 of us but would accommodate several people if you don’t mind close quarters. Instructions needed to use tv’s. We never could get the large tv connected to a network. Need new cookware and baking pans. One hairdryer did not work.
