The views from the villa were well worth the climb up the stairs from the train station. The outdoor spaces looking out over the Mediterranean and Manarola were awesome. The unit was bright and spacious with great windows and was well stocked. Our check-in host met us at the villa and made sure we had everything we needed.

This place was our zen time in our itinerary. Halfway down a mountain hillside stairway, accessible to the train station and the town center on opposite ends, was a blissful retreat. The Cinque Terre trail was easily accessible in the town center, as well as small grocery stores, cafes, and gelato places. The house is full of windows and doors that bring breezes and views into the rooms. Comfortable and plentiful beds, sitting spaces, and amenities. A very well-equipped kitchen and an outdoor terrace encompassing the side of the house that looks out to the Sea invites lingering outdoor dining. Inside the gate, the walkway leading to the house is layered with pink lilies, succulent plants, and lemon trees, a rustic aesthetic that blends well with the vineyards on the southern side of the house. Plenty of electricity and hot water, fans, towels and linens. Only the gracious hospitality of Marco and daughter, Martina, rounded this beautiful experience to perfection.

Exactly as described. Comfortable with superb air conditioning. The walk up the stairs/ramps with luggage was manageable, there are options to take bus to top of stairs and walk down instead. Garden and patios are where we spent all our time -stunning!

The Hosts greeted us upon check in, were very nice and gave us a tour of the home. The property is beautiful, sits up on a hillside & is surrounded by trellis gardens. Home was spacious & easily accommodated our family of four (group of 6 would fit). Kitchen had all of the necessary utensils for us to cook a delightful dinner on our last night. The patio deck was excellent, with a nice outdoor sofa area for morning coffee, snacks & evening wine, as well as a dinner table for outdoor meals. The ocean view from the patio was gorgeous. To reach the home, it required some walking up the Corniglia stairs, but it was manageable since we only had carry-on suitcases.We would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Cinque Terre region or Corniglia. We really enjoyed Corniglia because of it's beauty, central location and much less tourist traffic compared to the other Cinque Terre towns.

Super easy check-in, great location with a fantastic view. Looked as great as in the pictures, we got here on a super hot day and after those steps the AC was more than welcomed! Super clean rooms, fully equipped kitchen and really close to the town too so it was perfect for cooking and getting takeout food to eat on the terrazza too! Great outdoor setting, really comfortable and with a backyard that seems almost endless. We loved our stay and almost wished we stayed a bit longer. It had everything we needed and the check out was super easy as well. Loved it :)

This is the most beautiful, relaxing, soul soothing place I have ever stayed. Marco was fabulous to communicate with and personally met us and provided instructions and details for the property. Don’t let the stairs scare you away. We enjoyed the deck both evenings surrounded with vineyard, lemon trees, rosemary and the sound of the ocean. The beds were comfortable, air conditioning and WiFi worked well too. Truly an amazing experience and I hope to return here again if I ever make it back to Italy.

We arrived at the villa after battling the Liberation Day holiday hoards. From the moment we entered the front gate and strolled down the garden path past the lemon trees and stacked stone terraced vineyard the stress of travel vanished. That's the magic of this homey villa by the sea. We loved the personal touches - the bouquet of white Shasta daisies from the back garden. - the bowl of fresh picked lemons - the starfish collection. The comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen and large bathroom checked the boxes, but the spaceous terrace stole the show. The Ligurian Sea and the timeless vineyards make the hundred of steps worth it all.

Amazing view and outdoor space, good kitchen and air conditioning, great bathroom and shower, It was hard to find the apartment. Once you get off train, climb the first set of stairs and bear left down the ramp parallel to the train tracks all the way down and climb another 170 ish steps until you come to a gate with the number 5. I loved the privacy and solitude of the town. Good location for hiking. Would definitely stay here again.

This villa is located halfway up the steps to the village of Corniglia. It overlooks a garden and has a water view. It is conveniently located to explore the other towns by train or walking. The kitchen is equipped with the basics and there are several small grocery stores in walking distance (up and down the stairs) to purchase local foods to self cater.

We loved the location despite comments about stairs. The terrace was a gem for napping in the hanging chair and dining alfresco. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking in. Host was responsive to our needs. Only draw back was the house could use a deep clean and window screens for mosquitoes.

The view from the patio is stunning and is setup for relaxing and dining. The property needs some attention though and a good thorough cleaning. We found it necessary to wash all of the dishes and cookware we used as it did not appear clean. The stairs to access the property were a challenge for some in our party, others enjoyed the challenge and the reward of the view. If you stay at the property, access the property by taking the long ramp from the train station and climb up the steps to the gated property.

We stayed in Christian’s home for three marvelous days in early October. The pictures posted are extremely accurate, but nothing can compare to being there and looking at the magnificent views from every room in the house. The house was spotless, with all the amenities you needed. The trek up the stairs are definitely not as bad as going all the way up to the top-with our suitcases-but it is a little bit of a trek. The house is situated perfectly about halfway up, which allowed the evenings to be nice and quiet-away from the center town crowds and gave a perfect amount of privacy. The host and his amazingly charming and loving parents were extremely helpful in giving recommendations for local restaurants, and also areas of Cinque Terre that were a little off the tourist path. We would visit again and would highly recommend!!

Let’s face it, the view had me at hello. That being said, what a past customer said was so true, it really needs a down home cleaning. I don’t know who cleans it but it’s like a beach house that’s lived in and needs much love. The people I’ve never met, but they seemed quite pleasant upon my late check in because of the rail system. Again, that being said, even cleaning by light switches…….wine glasses dirty and coffee cups. That’s all.

It was very roomy , comfy bed along with a great view !! The patio was used for breakfast and drinks after long days ! We would stay here again. The host was very helpful with places to get groceries!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect spot to unwind, relax and soak in the surroundings. Views were out of this world. Worth the price alone. Hosts met us on check in and were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Marco’s place in Cinque Terre provides stunning views of the beautiful and rugged coast. Being located in the middle of the 5 villages; the location afforded us easy access to all the towns. It was a perfect location for our family of six. We loved our stay and dream of being back again!

The view is insane. Most windows and doors lead to a completely unobstructed view of the sea. It is paradise. You will need to walk up part of the long staircase to get to the entrance, but unlike almost anyone else in the Cinque Terre, you're away from crowds and have an extraordinary view.

This was a great property, but the directions on how to get to the house were just terrible, and the communication from the host was not sufficient. It took us hours driving around the tiny road in Corniglia before we were able to find the house. In the end, we had to ask local residents!

This is the most beautiful, relaxing, soul soothing place I have ever stayed. Marco was fabulous to communicate with and personally met us and provided instructions and details for the property. Don’t let the stairs scare you away. We enjoyed the deck both evenings surrounded with vineyard, lemon trees, rosemary and the sound of the ocean. The beds were comfortable, air conditioning and WiFi worked well too. Truly an amazing experience and I hope to return here again if I ever make it back to Italy.

First - Be prepared for a lot of steps, both up and down. That's the price of entry for renting this wonderfully-located house. Second - The hosts were extremely helpful with our check-in process. We had issues with the trains, and arrived about an hour late. The hosts were patient and waited for us, and even picked us up at the train station to avoid having us walk up the steps with our luggage (we walked down instead form the top). On to the house itself, it is situation on a hillside filled with vineyards and lemon trees. The only sounds are from the train station below and people walking on the steps, but otherwise it is a nice remote and private setting. There is plenty of room inside, and the front porch offers a wonderful view of the sea and the town of Manarola to the south. On chilly nights we warmed up with the pellet stove and some locally-purchased wine (two small shops up in town were good sources of wine and food). Unfortunately, we stayed for only 2 nights, wish we had more time. The home met all of our expectations and more. We loved Corniglia and felt this home was situated perfectly to visit all the towns in Cinque Terre. Marco and his wife greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

What a fabulous location! From your terrace you have an outstanding view of the Ligurian Sea and the next village of Manarola. The moon reflecting on the sea was just so peaceful. You are a 10 minute walk to the train station and a 10 minute walk (up) to the village. We visited all of the villages while we were there and Corniglia clearly had the least commercial/touristy atmosphere while still having nice places to eat and shop. The VRBO had a great location but also a secluded feel to it, tucked into the hillside. We were greeted upon our arrival and were shown around the house. Our stay was comfortable and so relaxing.

The view from the patio is stunning and is setup for relaxing and dining. The property needs some attention though and a good thorough cleaning. We found it necessary to wash all of the dishes and cookware we used as it did not appear clean. The stairs to access the property were a challenge for some in our party, others enjoyed the challenge and the reward of the view. If you stay at the property, access the property by taking the long ramp from the train station and climb up the steps to the gated property.

We loved the house and the views were truly amazing! The property is so pretty with lemon trees, rosemary, and lots of flowers. The stairs from the train station are challenging with luggage but certainly worth it once you arrive.

Marco’s place in Cinque Terre provides stunning views of the beautiful and rugged coast. Being located in the middle of the 5 villages; the location afforded us easy access to all the towns. It was a perfect location for our family of six. We loved our stay and dream of being back again!

Great place to stay but getting there is quite difficult. We were told in advance and so we were aware. Best not to have much luggage as it is 240 down to get to the place. Of course 480 steps every time you leave/return. Would have been nice to have coffee in the apartment. We could not figure out the heating system as it is a pellet type furnace. Great view and total privacy.

The view is insane. Most windows and doors lead to a completely unobstructed view of the sea. It is paradise. You will need to walk up part of the long staircase to get to the entrance, but unlike almost anyone else in the Cinque Terre, you're away from crowds and have an extraordinary view.

Amazing view and outdoor space, good kitchen and air conditioning, great bathroom and shower, It was hard to find the apartment. Once you get off train, climb the first set of stairs and bear left down the ramp parallel to the train tracks all the way down and climb another 170 ish steps until you come to a gate with the number 5. I loved the privacy and solitude of the town. Good location for hiking. Would definitely stay here again.

This villa is located halfway up the steps to the village of Corniglia. It overlooks a garden and has a water view. It is conveniently located to explore the other towns by train or walking. The kitchen is equipped with the basics and there are several small grocery stores in walking distance (up and down the stairs) to purchase local foods to self cater.

Leider muss ich eine schlechte Bewertung abgeben, obwohl die Gastgeber sehr nett waren. Erstmal ist die Beschreibung falsch: es gibt keinen Whirlpool. Auch die Bilder führen in die Irre, so sah es vielleicht vor 10 Jahren aus, aber mittlerweile ist alles sehr heruntergekommen, das Haus ist sanierungsbedürftig, die Inneneinrichtung schrottig. Aus dem Wasserhahn im Badezimmer kommt nur heißes Wasser, das wurde schon von einem Nutzer vor 2 Jahren auf booking beanstandet! Der Laminatboden ist kaputt, auch im Außenbereich ist vieles dringend reparaturbedürftig. Am schlimmsten ist: es wurde nur teilweise gereinigt und das auch nicht gründlich, es lagen Haare im Badezimmer, in der Küche ist alles etwas schmierig, insgesamt staubig und schmutzig. Mein Tipp an die Vermieter: weniger Deko, dann ist es auch leichter sauber zu halten. Der Geruch war nicht auszuhalten, überall waren Duftfläschchen verteilt mit aufdringlichem, künstlichen Duft. Allein der Ausblick und die Lage insgesamt sind wunderschön. Auch der Garten ist schön, nur leider liegt da viel Schrott, schlimm ist vor allem ein Plastikrasen, der sich langsam auflöst und in den Boden dringt. Ganz schön war der Pelletsofen, der einfach zu bedienen ist und bei kalten Tagen wohlige Wärme erzeugt, nur schade, dass er im Flur steht und nicht in der Küche oder Wohnzimmer. Was man wissen sollte: vom Bahnhof aus muss man sein Gepäck 176 Stufen hochschleppen; und die Züge sind auch sehr laut. Das sollte man zumindest vorher wissen.

Best view and best of the 5 towns, as far as we were concerned. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio for morning coffee and evening wine. Nice to receive a bottle of wine and personal instructions upon arrival. Good choice!!!

Super easy check-in, great location with a fantastic view. Looked as great as in the pictures, we got here on a super hot day and after those steps the AC was more than welcomed! Super clean rooms, fully equipped kitchen and really close to the town too so it was perfect for cooking and getting takeout food to eat on the terrazza too! Great outdoor setting, really comfortable and with a backyard that seems almost endless. We loved our stay and almost wished we stayed a bit longer. It had everything we needed and the check out was super easy as well. Loved it :)
