Die Benutzung der 3 Pools (2 vom Partnerhotel) hat und gut gefallen. Auch, dass man immer Handtücher bekommen hat war toll. Das Zimmer war geräumig und wurde auch immer gut gepflegt. Frühstücksbuffet war großzügig und gut. Die Preise in den Hotel-Restaurants/Bars waren etwas hoch für das was man bekommen hat. Die Pina Colada hat nach fast gar nichts geschmeckt, die Annanas war schon etwas älter… Die Klimaanlage war recht laut, aber war nicht so schlimm. Einige Strände in der Nähe (ca. 15min Gehzeit) Alles in Allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt!

Super entspannt. Möglichkeit die Einrichtungen der Nachbarhotels zu nutzen (weitere Outdoorpools und ein Indoorpool, Sportplatz, etc.). Service (Restaurant, Rezeption, Concierge, etc.) fantastisch. Unsere Tochter hatte sich kurz vor dem Urlaub den Fuss verletzt und musste für 5 Tage einen Rollstuhl nutzen, den uns das Hotel gab und auch sonst auf ihre Bedürfnisse Rücksicht nahm. Kidsclub modern und hochwertig. Wir kommen wieder!

Ypperlig hotell for barnefamilier, men også andre. Veldig kjekt med sklie i bassenget og Maro World for barna. God mat og fin restaurant og koselig atmosfære i baren på kveldene med fin live musikk. Hotellrommet var veldig flott og moderne.

Poolområdet skulle behöva byggas ut då det var på tok för mycket folk i slutet på juli/början på augusti. Älskade frukosten. Fantastiskt lekrum för barnen.

Lovely hotel, felt tired outside of the hotel in a way. Pools were good, particularly the inside pool although this was in Lacroma but you’ve got access to use. No real shallow bit though for the kids to stand up in would be my only negative mark. Close to the Maro club which has so much and full on entertainment for the kids. Really handy for the bus into the old town, with buses every 15/10mins

Fabulous hotel with use of sister hotel next door. Lots of amenities, wonderful pool areas, a good selection of restaurants and shops on site on tte square. Super comfy beds. Easy to get to old town with no.6 bus right outside the hotel running every 10-15 minutes. Lovely walks around the hotels and right down to the marina via the coastal path. Will definitely return!

Das Hotel liegt am Stadtrand von Dubrovnik, mit hervorragender Busverbindung in die Altstadt. Die Zimmer sind anscheinend relativ frisch neu gestaltet, sehr zweckmäßig und modern, mit Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage. Ohne die geht aber auch nichts! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Poolbereich ist auch ganz hübsch. Zum Strand geht es einige Meter bergab und der ist auch eher überschaubar, die Liegen kosten 70€, mit Hotelrabatt knapp unter 30. Ob sich das lohnt muss jeder selbst wissen. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut, Abendessen könnte für meinen Geschmack besser in der Auswahl sein, aber es gibt ein paar Restaurants direkt in der angrenzenden Passage. Piramida war unsere erste Wahl und es gab keine Enttäuschung. Viele Familien und Briten, außerhalb der Ferien aber ziemlich ruhig und erholsam.

Lovely Hotel 4 star and above. Aboe to use the swimming pool at Lacroma, lovely food for breakfast and dinner. Staff very approachable and helpful. MARO world is definitely one more star for the families with kids. . Thank you Valamar, thank you Dubrovnik Definitely we will be back

Family of four staying in adjoining rooms which was perfect. Modern decor in rooms,very comfortable and spacious bathrooms. Water and fruit on arrival in room and fridge for your useage.Rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Dinner was really good too, again buffet style with plenty to choose from. Pool was brilliant with the added bonus of swim up bar and slides for all to enjoy. Plenty sun loungers and nobody could put their towels down until 9am which I thought was so much better than many places I have visited before. Great snack bar also for lunch which you could takeaway. We didn’t use Maro world but it seemed a great option for kids. Short walk to the beach which was beautiful to swim in. Top tip is take water shoes as most beaches are Peebles. There is a few shops/restuarants very near by which is handy for snacks/water and gifts. We booked the 3 island full day trip through the hotel which I would highly recommend. Very good value and idyllic islands, again take your water shoes! Ubers are a good way to get about to visit other places as is the bus which we used to go into cavtat - such a beautiful spot especially when the sun is setting. We visited the city walls, pick your time to go as the heat is intense. Worth doing though. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location.

Absolument parfait! Le personnel est accueillant et aux petits soins. La piscine est superbe, les infrastructures pour les enfants sont top. Le buffet est délicieux, la chambre et la literie impeccables. Tout est d'une propreté irréprochable. 5/5, sans hésitation!

Lovely clean bedroom with comfy bed/pillows and nice ensuite. (Superior double with balcony.) Public rooms very clean. Excellent staff, always very helpful and knowledgeable. Big selection of food for breakfast and evening meals and it was of good quality. It was nice to have some music in the evenings. We liked the location of the hotel just a short bus ride into Dubrovnik old town. A very relaxing stay.

Fine, lyse og rene rom, men mangler veldig på service-nivå og følelsen av å være ønsket. Buffeten til frokost er helt grei, men her også er det en del mangler. Dårlig dispenserjuice, oser av sukker og kunstige tilsetningsstoffer. Flytende yoghurt presenteres som yoghurt (Biola). Ferskpresset juice koster 5 euro, noe som bare blir irriterende. Kaffe latte koster 6,5 euro. Det er trangt og man bomper inn i folk uansett hvor man snur seg. Middagsbuffet er dårlig. Dra heller på nabohotellet. Bassenget på hotellet er lite. Det vaskes sjeldent rundt og halvveis inn i dagen er det skittent og masse vann rundt omkring. Glatt på flisene. Skliene er morsomme for barna, men også her er flisene veldig glatte og farlige. Solsengene er alltid tatt, da alle holder av tidlig på morgenen. Oliva restauranten har grei mat, men dårlig service. Såpe-dispenser på rommet funker ikke, går ikke å trykke på pumpen. Overhørte flere gjester som klaget på det samme. Sjampo/håndsåpe og kroppssåpe i ett. Balsam og krem tilbys ikke. Fikk rom i 2 Etg (hovedetasje er i 3. Etg). Finnes ikke heis som går til 2. Etg, så måtte bære vogn opp og ned med sovende barn. Klaget etter en dag, fikk nytt rom i 3 heldigvis. Spurte concierge om tips til gåturer fra hotellet, hun var uhøflig og lite behjelpelig. Dog var det én hente der som var flink som hjalp oss en annen dag. Drar nok ikke tilbake, de har for lang vei å gå på service og tilbud om mat.

The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Internet WiFi access was really good in the hotel. Swimming pool was great and the restaurant next to it had really nice food too and great service. Couldn't recommend this hotel more and would love to stay again.

Ubers are a good way to get about to visit other places as is the bus which we used to go into cavtat - such a beautiful spot especially when the sun is setting. We visited the city walls, pick your time to go as the heat is intense. Worth doing though. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location.

Water and fruit on arrival in room and fridge for your useage.Rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Dinner was really good too, again buffet style with plenty to choose from. Pool was brilliant with the added bonus of swim up bar and slides for all to enjoy. Plenty sun loungers and nobody could put their towels down until 9am which I thought was so much better than many places I have visited before. Great snack bar also for lunch which you could takeaway. We didn’t use Maro world but it seemed a great option for kids. Short walk to the beach which was beautiful to swim in. Top tip is take water shoes as most beaches are Peebles. There is a few shops/restuarants very near by which is handy for snacks/water and gifts. We booked the 3 island full day trip through the hotel which I would highly recommend. Very good value and idyllic islands, again take your water shoes! The hotel is newly renovated & very modern. We paid extra for one of the partial sea-view rooms with a balcony on 1 of the upper floors & it was definitely worth it. The rooms are spacious & have nice big, modern bathrooms, plus central air conditioning, a safe, a small fridge that actually keeps things cold & and plenty of space to put your clothes, etc. We loved having a balcony on which we could relax & breathe in the sea air. Our room was always cleaned & made up daily like clockwork. The Tirena has outstanding staff. Everyone was very friendly, accommodating & spoke good English. Thanks to the outstanding Jerko at the front desk for all his help, as well as Petar, Sasa, Srdan, Zelyko, Bozena, Ivana & Mariya. Everyone in the dining room was very friendly, especially the awesome Nevena. She always had a big smile for us. Our room had the half-board package included & this was a definite plus. Although we normally don’t go for “all inclusive” type hotels, the Tirena has a huge spread of breakfast foods, croissants, cereals, made-to-order eggs, coffee, an espresso machine & more for breakfast. The dinner buffet always had a variety of things—from fresh salads to fresh bread, made-to-order pizzas that are some of the best pizzas we’ve ever tasted, plus a selection of chicken, pork, beef, veal & seafood dishes. Great desserts. The hotel has a brand-new pool. We used the excellent pool at the Valamar Lacroma (right next door). You can use pools at any Valamar in the area.

Absolutely loved our stay here and will be coming back. Best location to stay at in Dubrovnik. Lapad is very calm and beautiful compared to the old town. Bus stop right outside the hotel and it’s the first stop so you don’t have to worry about the bus being full already. Great rooms for the prices and excellent staff.

The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Internet WiFi access was really good in the hotel. Swimming pool was great and the restaurant next to it had really nice food too and great service. Couldn't recommend this hotel more and would love to stay again.

We had a lovely stay here, would definitely recommend! Room was great and breakfast was probably the best breakfast buffet we’ve had in a hotel. Great location just a short bus ride or Uber from Old Town but lots of nice restaurants in walking distance from the hotel too plus some beach clubs not far away. There’s a big pool with lots of sun beds, for any couples like us who want a more adults only feel the sister hotel up the road has a pool that we were allowed to use which had fewer children. We had the best time and would definitely stay here again - thank you to all the friendly and welcoming staff!

Perfect hotel for our stay in Dubrovnik. Only 10-15 minutes drive from the centre of Old Town and away from the hustle and bustle (which is what we were looking for). Staff were fantastic - incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to check in slightly early, and check out slightly late. Would highly recommend to anyone.

It’s s great location not too far from old town. Hotel is modern and very clean. beach is short walk need water shoes and towel. Beach chairs are $35 per person. We had beautiful time in Dubrovnik I was just very disappointed with level of service. When I arrived I paid for the hotel and transport. I was called in day before departure to come downstairs. They asked me give them my flight information and departure. I was told my bill was already settle and I have no balance. On the departure I dropped room cards and I being told I have not paid my bill and requesting another night accommodation. My transport pick was already there and they made me wait as receptionist was taking to somone on the phone not understanding why my bill was not paid. Maid me pay another $350 euros and treated me like a criminal in front of long line of people. Bad costumer service.

A great place to stay out of the chaos of the old city, but with convenient access to easily go in to enjoy all Dubrovnik has to offer. The concierge staff are so wonderful and really work to make your stay enjoyable.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but when I specifically asked if everything was clear for a person in our party arriving later and was convinced all was fine, the staff at the front desk on time of arrival was not made aware of the arrangements. The room keys constantly ceased working, this was of course remedied promptlt by the staff, but it made me a bit wary of room security. The rooms were small but nice and clean. Beds were a bit too hard for some of our group, and the pillows divided opinions. I liked the pillows, but others could not get a good night's sleep on them. The hotel is situated on a peninsula with nothing but hotels, small tourist shops and touristy restaurants, and the general prices are even higher than in the old town. All in all though, it's a nice, clean hotel with an exquisitely plentiful breakfast buffet and helpful staff.

Minha estadia neste hotel foi extremamente decepcionante, e gostaria de alertar futuros hóspedes sobre alguns pontos críticos: • Falta de água potável à noite: Após a meia-noite, pedi água na recepção para mim e minha família, pois precisávamos tomar remédio, e simplesmente nos foi negada. O funcionário disse que “não podia fazer nada”. Ficamos sem água — algo inaceitável para qualquer hotel que se diz minimamente preparado. • Telefone inativo após a meia-noite: Para piorar, o telefone é totalmente desligado depois das 00h. Caso você precise de algo urgente nesse período, terá que descer pessoalmente até a recepção, o que é extremamente inconveniente, especialmente em situações de emergência ou com crianças e idosos. • Comida muito fraca: O restaurante serve refeições extremamente básicas. Os sucos são artificiais, os sorvetes não têm gosto e a carne estava dura. A qualidade dos alimentos está muito abaixo do esperado. • Estacionamento problemático: O estacionamento fica a cerca de 400 metros de distância, numa subida íngreme. E não há serviço de valet, ou seja, você precisa ir e voltar a pé com bagagens. Isso não foi informado previamente. • Checkout rígido: O horário de saída é às 10h da manhã, o que é muito cedo e inflexível. • Acesso à praia e custos adicionais: Para ir à praia, prepare-se para pagar caro. Staff were very friendly and service-minded. Place was clean and well kept. I appreciated the American style air conditioning - super high power when you needed it on the hot Adriatic summers. They don’t play around when it comes to air conditioning. All rooms and common areas sufficiently air conditioned! One thing to keep in mind though, this is billed as family friendly hotel so be prepared for lots of families with young kids. The pool and restaurant will be noisy with crying kids. Reservé este hotel porque en sus fotos da a entender que tiene instalaciones en la playa, lo cual es engañoso, ya que si bien hay una playa cerca, es una playa pública. Los buffets son variados (opciones vegetarianas, sin gluten, saludables y convencionales), pero sólo incluyen jugos, agua y café, incluso para la cena. Las instalaciones están en buen estado y se ve renovado recientemente. Se preocupan por el medio ambiente.

Stayed here for 3-nights. You can take Bus #6 to the old city (2€ each way). Lots of pools and close to beaches (walkable). You have access to the surrounding hotels owned by Valamar (Argosy, Lacroma, and Tirena). Facilities were clean. Great for family since there’s a children s area including water slides. The room was large enough for 2. The only issue is the water would get out when showering so make sure you ask for a couple of floor mats to clean up the water. Keep in mind the location is mostly surrounded by resorts but there’s about 3-4 beaches within walking distance:

This hotel is beautiful and has great amenities. It is very close to restaurants and the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every bit of staying at this hotel. It is also a 15 minute drive to the Old Town which is worth the drive.

Great location just a short bus ride or Uber from Old Town but lots of nice restaurants in walking distance from the hotel too plus some beach clubs not far away. There’s a big pool with lots of sun beds, for any couples like us who want a more adults only feel the sister hotel up the road has a pool that we were allowed to use which had fewer children. We had the best time and would definitely stay here again - thank you to all the friendly and welcoming staff!

Fabulous hotel with use of sister hotel next door. Lots of amenities, wonderful pool areas, a good selection of restaurants and shops on site on tte square. Super comfy beds. Easy to get to old town with no.6 bus right outside the hotel running every 10-15 minutes. Lovely walks around the hotels and right down to the marina via the coastal path. Will definitely return!

Valamar Tirena is a beautiful resort with wonderful and helpful staff. The place is beautiful along with its location. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had our daughter with us and she loved everything about the place. It is easy to head to the beach or catch a bus or cab into the old town so the location is very convenient. We recommend this place to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

Das Hotel liegt am Stadtrand von Dubrovnik, mit hervorragender Busverbindung in die Altstadt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Poolbereich ist auch ganz hübsch. Zum Strand geht es einige Meter bergab und der ist auch eher überschaubar, die Liegen kosten 70€, mit Hotelrabatt knapp unter 30. Ob sich das lohnt muss jeder selbst wissen. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut, Abendessen könnte für meinen Geschmack besser in der Auswahl sein, aber es gibt ein paar Restaurants direkt in der angrenzenden Passage. Piramida war unsere erste Wahl und es gab keine Enttäuschung. Viele Familien und Briten, außerhalb der Ferien aber ziemlich ruhig und erholsam.

The newly renovated rooms are stunning and you have a great selection of restaurants around, the bus stop nearby is super convenient and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve seen cause the variety is big and you have vegetables and fruit. The only thing misleading are the beach photos of the private beach of the 5 star hotel in front of this hotel which make it seem like the Tirena Beach. The hotel pool is great and you can use the wellness area of the Lacroma but if you are really looking for a nice beach it’s a bit tricky cause the Copacabana one was pretty dirty to be honest and the coral beach club’s beach was nice but the prices for daybeds pretty high.

Die Benutzung der 3 Pools (2 vom Partnerhotel) hat und gut gefallen. Auch, dass man immer Handtücher bekommen hat war toll. Das Zimmer war geräumig und wurde auch immer gut gepflegt. Frühstücksbuffet war großzügig und gut. Die Preise in den Hotel-Restaurants/Bars waren etwas hoch für das was man bekommen hat. Die Pina Colada hat nach fast gar nichts geschmeckt, die Annanas war schon etwas älter… Die Klimaanlage war recht laut, aber war nicht so schlimm. Einige Strände in der Nähe (ca. 15min Gehzeit) Alles in Allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt!

Reservé este hotel porque en sus fotos da a entender que tiene instalaciones en la playa, lo cual es engañoso, ya que si bien hay una playa cerca, es una playa pública. Los buffets son variados (opciones vegetarianas, sin gluten, saludables y convencionales), pero sólo incluyen jugos, agua y café, incluso para la cena. Las instalaciones están en buen estado y se ve renovado recientemente. Se preocupan por el medio ambiente.

Fine, lyse og rene rom, men mangler veldig på service-nivå og følelsen av å være ønsket. Buffeten til frokost er helt grei, men her også er det en del mangler. Dårlig dispenserjuice, oser av sukker og kunstige tilsetningsstoffer. Flytende yoghurt presenteres som yoghurt (Biola). Ferskpresset juice koster 5 euro, noe som bare blir irriterende. Kaffe latte koster 6,5 euro. Det er trangt og man bomper inn i folk uansett hvor man snur seg. Middagsbuffet er dårlig. Dra heller på nabohotellet. Bassenget på hotellet er lite. Det vaskes sjeldent rundt og halvveis inn i dagen er det skittent og masse vann rundt omkring. Glatt på flisene. Skliene er morsomme for barna, men også her er flisene veldig glatte og farlige. Solsengene er alltid tatt, da alle holder av tidlig på morgenen. Oliva restauranten har grei mat, men dårlig service. Såpe-dispenser på rommet funker ikke, går ikke å trykke på pumpen. Overhørte flere gjester som klaget på det samme. Sjampo/håndsåpe og kroppssåpe i ett. Balsam og krem tilbys ikke. Fikk rom i 2 Etg (hovedetasje er i 3. Etg). Finnes ikke heis som går til 2. Etg, så måtte bære vogn opp og ned med sovende barn. Klaget etter en dag, fikk nytt rom i 3 heldigvis. Spurte concierge om tips til gåturer fra hotellet, hun var uhøflig og lite behjelpelig. Dog var det én hente der som var flink som hjalp oss en annen dag. Drar nok ikke tilbake, de har for lang vei å gå på service og tilbud om mat.

The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Internet WiFi access was really good in the hotel. Swimming pool was great and the restaurant next to it had really nice food too and great service. Couldn't recommend this hotel more and would love to stay again.

This is a great hotel in a beautiful part of the world. Breakfast is a vast buffet, all good quality and great choice. Beds are comfortable, rooms spacious and bathrooms are nice and clean. Pool area is great, really well maintained, and set in lovely park areas. Dubrovnik isn't cheap, but there's bars nearby where you can get a meal for just over £10 and a pint for £5 at the right time of day. Staff were all extremely helpful, polite and charming. Nearby promenade with little secluded swimming areas and bars topped it all off perfectly. Bus into the old town is only a couple of minutes away, but does get extremely busy, hot and "queuing" can be a little challenging. Taxis are extortionate but Ubers cheap and plentiful. Only downside was the 30 euro evening buffet which was pretty disappointing. Would Def stay again without any hesitation.

A wonderful stay at Valamar Tirena. Maro World and the pool with swim up bar and separate slides was a massive hit with my child. Fantastic place to relax after a morning exploring the Old Town. Food was great and of fantastic quality - everything cooked to a high standard and always plenty to choose from. Oliva bar during the day also was very nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was great and the hotel was very clean. A few restaurants and shops within the complex and night entertainment was good. Area itself is lovely with a beach within a 5 minute walk with inflatables and beach bar. Option to use facilities at other hotels however we only used the Spa at the Lacroma (which was lovely) due to not needing to leave Tirena - the pool at the Lacroma has fab views as we walked passed where as the pool at the Tirena is within the garden and therefore no views but was lovely and a nice vibe. Hotel wasn’t too big, just nice. Always a few sun beds available therefore no need to reserve! Very convenient bus stop within 5 minute walk (if that!) of the hotel with a direct bus to Pile Gate - amazing!! Never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus. Hotel is great for families wanting the best of both worlds with exploring and relaxing! Would recommend!

C’était notre troisième séjour dans cet hôtel, et malheureusement, ce sera probablement le dernier. Nous avions jusqu’ici une bonne image de l’établissement et nous l’avions recommandé à plusieurs reprises à des amis, collègues et personnes de nos réseaux personnels et professionnels. C’est justement pour cela que cette expérience nous a particulièrement déçus. Notre vol easyJet a été annulé à 4h00 du matin le jour du départ, totalement indépendamment de notre volonté. Aucun vol de remplacement ne nous a été proposé dans les 24 heures et nous avons dû acheter un nouveau billet afin de pouvoir rejoindre Dubrovnik. Nous avons malheureusement perdu la première nuit de notre réservation. Nous avons demandé à l’hôtel s’il était possible de faire un geste commercial. Malgré le fait qu’il s’agissait de notre troisième séjour, aucune déduction n’a été accordée. L’hôtel a notamment considéré que le fait de nous avoir permis d’accéder à la chambre avant 10h le lendemain constituait un geste, alors que cette chambre avait déjà été réservée pour la nuit précédente. Le dîner et le petit-déjeuner de cette première nuit étaient également compris dans notre réservation et n’ont pas été consommés. Nous avons également constaté une baisse de certains services par rapport à nos précédents séjours : plus de vélos en libre-service, pas de petite attention pour les enfants à l’arrivée et même pas de bouteille d’eau à notre arrivée, alors que nous avions connu ces attentions auparavant. It was an amazing resort especially as a family with an only child - so many activities and options for kids (have a 10 year old boy) at Maro world plus the great waterslides and pool. My son also tried the tennis class which was great and the coach so helpful as he was trying it for the first time. He also really enjoyed the magic show on the Monday evening. I also went to the spa and had an excellent massage and facial. Definitely a thumbs up also just an amazing experience as the staff was so friendly and nice.

Vi var veldig fornøyde med oppholdet. Var mye bedre enn forventet. Hadde rom med dør så vi kunne sitte utenfor å gå rett til bassenget. Frokosten var også veldig bra. De ansatte var hyggelig og serviceinnstilt. Hotellet lå litt utenfor selve byen men gangavstand til stranda og fantastisk gate nedenfor i tilknytning til hotellet med restauranter og små butikker. Vil virkelig anbefale og om vi skal reise tilbake vil vi absolutt bo her igjen ☺️
