Woodlands Hotel, BW Signature Collection

We asked for a cup of tea to go with the buffet & was told we couldn’t have one, We were told you can have the tea bags but can’t use the kettle that was sitting beside the teabags, we even offered to pay for the tea. very disappointed in the staffs reaction to the situation. We won’t be in a hurry to come back

Hotel was clean and staff were excellent from the reception staff ,restaurant staff and the lovely lady on duty in the Soa on Saturday morning . We felt that the room we were allocated was on the small side and an attic room and although the property did ask on numerous occasions if we had any disabilities and did convey that there was no lifts in the property we didn’t appreciate that our room would be an attic room on the 3rd floor . Although we aren’t disabled the climb to the attic was a bit much at times . This room was comfortable enough the fact that there was no window to open and the windows were small and the only view we had was sky .This was not what was shown on the booking site . The room wound be ideal for single occupancy . The shower cubicle was on the small side and a shower curtain instead of a screen . The room was clean but is in need of some repair . Bathroom window felt really loose when I opened it as no fan in bathroom to allow steam to disperse and when trying to close it I thought it was going to break . This did not spoil our stay as the Staff were attentive and very efficient . Food was delicious. Overall a great experience and if we were to revisit I would make sure that we didn’t book a small attic room .

Parking fine. Lots of bird droppings in the morning! Room was good value for what I paid. No drinking glass provided, just a coffee mug. Hotel was quiet.
