Das Hotel liegt super zentral. Man kann zu Fuß alles erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war klein und sauber. Man merkt dem gesamten Hotel an, dass es generell etwas Jahre gekommen ist. Zudem etwas hellhörig. Das Frühstück oder Restaurant habe ich nicht in Anspruch genommen. Das Auto war sicher im hinteren Hof geparkt. Insgesamt sehr solide. Ich kann es weitergeben.

Sehr gut war das Frühstück und das ganze Haus besticht mit seinem Charme. Die Parkmöglichkeit fand ich etwas teuer und kompliziert.

Het was fijn om in de binnenstad een hotel te hebben omdat we daar 5 minuten vandaan een bruiloft hadden. Het is wel verouderd, maar wel netjes bij gehouden. Parkeren is beperkt mogelijk en je moet in rijen parkeren. Waardoor je de auto sleutel moet inleveren bij de balie, voor het geval iemand die voor je staat er eerder uit moet. Dit was ons onbekend van te voren, waardoor het even vervelend voelde. Uiteindelijk wel begrijpelijk, nadat we het gezien hadden. Ontbijt was netjes verzorgd.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It would be nice to have drink facilities in the room though. The breakfast is good. The bar area is large. My only complaint is that the prices are hiked for the Dutch TT and it’s getting very expensive. It is a nice hotel, but not worth the increased cost

Hotel has certain areas under renovation. Our room was simple and a little tired looking but very clean. Wish that it had a kettle, fridge and safe. Perhaps the new renos will have the upgrade. Would recommend others to stay here.

This is a very cute hotel. It is older and thus has some older facilities. Our transactions with the staff were friendly and efficient. We definitely felt welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable. No frills but everything we needed it to be. As in many older hotels, the shower was small but adequate. My wife and I jokingly called it the "cruise ship shower." It is in a very convenient location to walk to the Martini tower or the Groninger Museum. Lots of dining options and near by grocery stores. The breakfast the offer has breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit and some cereals. I'd certainly stay here again. We had a lovely time.

We stayed 5 nights as we were settling my son into university. Twin room had barely 20 centimeters space before hitting the walls and beds wedged up against each other. Desk chair could barely pull out without ramming the foot of the bed. Paper thin walls. Could hear every bodily function of the person next door as well as all his conversations. No ammenities like a kettle or mini fridge. Wifi needs to re-enter the password hourly. There were also mutiple instances it went down for the whole hotel without notice. Poor ventilation. We were second floor but kitchen odors and noise were noticible. Checked to see before booking that there was AC but told by different clerks there wasn't. Groningen isn't warm usually but it was very warm this week. At check out another different clerk then told me they had it in 'some' rooms. Mattresses were very lumpy and tired. It was clean and central but not much else positive to say about it.

The room I was given on arrival was not what I had booked. The city at weekends is very busy, which is great, however my room was on the main road . It was so noisy that I was unable to sleep for 2 nights until i was finally moved to a quiet room. I liked the location of the hotel but the rooms looked dated and tired and very small. The staff was very nice and helpful. Sadly I cannot help feel disappointed by my overall experience.

Hotel located a short walk from everything in downtown. Right next to many bus stops, restaurants and nightlife. I had a tiny room that was quite outdated, but ok for a nights sleep. Good breakfast buffet.

Super hotel midden in het centrum… de kamer waar wij sliepen was was net gerenoveerd en helemaal prima. Badkamer wel wat klein, maar prima. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Ik miste wel een waterkoker/koffieapparaat op de kamer… maar er zijn ergere dingen. Zou zeker terugkomend.

Stond goed aangeschreven als kind/baby vriendelijk. We hadden geen kinderbedje op de kamer, en het betreden van het hotel is niet gemaakt voor een wandelwagen zo ook de lift. Ook was er weinig informatie bij in checken zoals hoelaat is het ontbijt was etc.

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war schrecklich und hat mir meinen Aufenthalt ziemlich vermasselt! Es kam mir vor, als würde ich dort stören und habe mich überhaupt nicht willkommen gefühlt. An einer Rezeption sollte man, auch wenn man schlechte Laune oder sonst was hat, ein bisschen Theater spielen können. Ansonsten hat man definitiv den falschen Job!

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war schrecklich und hat mir meinen Aufenthalt ziemlich vermasselt! Es kam mir vor, als würde ich dort stören und habe mich überhaupt nicht willkommen gefühlt. An einer Rezeption sollte man, auch wenn man schlechte Laune oder sonst was hat, ein bisschen Theater spielen können. Ansonsten hat man definitiv den falschen Job!

This is a very cute hotel. It is older and thus has some older facilities. Our transactions with the staff were friendly and efficient. We definitely felt welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable. No frills but everything we needed it to be. As in many older hotels, the shower was small but adequate. My wife and I jokingly called it the "cruise ship shower." It is in a very convenient location to walk to the Martini tower or the Groninger Museum. Lots of dining options and near by grocery stores. The breakfast the offer has breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit and some cereals. I'd certainly stay here again. We had a lovely time.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It would be nice to have drink facilities in the room though. The breakfast is good. The bar area is large. My only complaint is that the prices are hiked for the Dutch TT and it’s getting very expensive. It is a nice hotel, but not worth the increased cost

Hotel located a short walk from everything in downtown. Right next to many bus stops, restaurants and nightlife. I had a tiny room that was quite outdated, but ok for a nights sleep. Good breakfast buffet.

We were offered a newly refurbished room for an extra 15 eu per night. The room was modest with no storage other than 6 hangers however it was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated and had coffee/ tea facilities. The staff were mostly pleasant and the breakfast was average. We went to try the restaurant but the head of the restaurant was extremely rude so much so that we had to leave from anger at his behaviour and go elsewhere. He later instructed the bar staff to close the bar when some German guests were becoming a bit loud instead of asking them to tone it down so once again we had to go elsewhere. I have stayed at the Martini many times and hope to return again in the future but this member of staff left us with an unpleasant memory on this occasion
