extra paid for a sauna in the room. Having read the instructions we could not get it to work. I explained when I was leaving. I was told that I must not have read the instructions and if I had called somebody they would have got it working. That is what normally happens. To me this says there is an on going problem. I was offered a cake for my disappointment. Not good enough.

I really liked the location. A stone's throw from a number of key city centre attractions and a great place to sit at the terrace facing the Grote Markt and enjoy the folks walking by. The only area of improvement is the coffee - consider upgrading the coffee machine as this would bring the experience to a perfect boutique hotel level!

Friendly staff & very polite, hotel is situated in the center of Groningen & approximately a15min walk from the train station. Plenty of choices for breakfast, certain areas of the hotel are in need of decorating along with new carpets ( tripping hazard) did not see any wheelchair access

Super Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten ein mal das Frühstück, welches aus dem Restaurant nebenan kam und auch sehr lecker war. Das Zimmer ist zwar etwas klein und nicht ganz so sauber wie erhofft, aber es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Although the hotel is old, rooms should be kept to a reasonable standard. The bed was not level at all with feet higher than the head. Upon inspection the bed was missing legs.

The room was tiny and not at all as pictured. The shower only has a rain shower and no bath cloth is provided. Water pressure is non existent and because the ceilings are high the water temperature is never hot. No in room fridge. We requested another room but we’re not accommodating at all. Breakfast is not included. The hotel is very charming and fitting with the ambience and culture. Staff is courteous. Location made up for the inconveniences.

I really liked the location. A stone's throw from a number of key city centre attractions and a great place to sit at the terrace facing the Grote Markt and enjoy the folks walking by. The only area of improvement is the coffee - consider upgrading the coffee machine as this would bring the experience to a perfect boutique hotel level!

Super Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten ein mal das Frühstück, welches aus dem Restaurant nebenan kam und auch sehr lecker war. Das Zimmer ist zwar etwas klein und nicht ganz so sauber wie erhofft, aber es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Wij hadden een suite met sauna & groot ligbad; voelt aan als een mini-wellness centrum. Heerlijk! De kamer was ruim, schoon, viel helemaal niets op aan te merken. Personeel erg vriendelijk, zeer mooie lobby met een open haard. Ontbijt helemaal prima. Locatie kan ook niet beter zo midden in het centrum. Al met al érg geslaagd

The room was tiny and not at all as pictured. The shower only has a rain shower and no bath cloth is provided. Water pressure is non existent and because the ceilings are high the water temperature is never hot. No in room fridge. We requested another room but we’re not accommodating at all. Breakfast is not included. The hotel is very charming and fitting with the ambience and culture. Staff is courteous. Location made up for the inconveniences.

Simply a fantastic hotel. Very helpful and kind staff. Best location in town. Our room was quiet and felt large. And clean. Having breakfast outside, watching the city wake up was a great start to the day. Thanks for fine stay. I think we’ll be back.

Loved this hotel, wish we could have stayed longer. The room was big and luxurious, and so was the bathroom. Only negative was the stairs up to the entrance with our luggage.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful after a long and difficult journey. We felt really welcome and cared for. V characterful hotel, right in the centre of Groningen. Note that car parking has to be organised separately.

Et supert sted. Topp beliggenhet. Rimelig! Sjarmerende, hyggelig og flott salong. Hjelpsomt og hyggelig personale, Vi fikk gratis drink. Eneste å utsette på hotellet var uvanlig tidlig utsjekkingsidspunktt- kl 10.30. Alt annet var bra.
