The room we stayed in was adequate. The location and surrounding was very good. The views and nearby wildlife was a highlight. What we didnt like was that BBQs they advertised did not work and were rusty. This meant we had to eat out every meal which was expensive. Also the shower was very temperamental, it would go from very hot to very cold.

The location is stunning and it’s clear the town is still recovering after the fires. The hotel’s a quick walk to town, but the website really needs an update. Our room looked refreshed, but the shower was a nightmare—either boiling or freezing, no in-between. Reception was empty the whole time, so no way to report it. Most facilities weren’t working: games room locked, restaurant and café clearly closed for ages, gym and sauna looked abandoned. Rubbish bags and loose rubbish scattered everywhere, throughout the grounds of this beautiful property. Laundry seemed to work though. This place has real potential, but right now it’s not what’s advertise

Did not enjoy the stay here for two nights. There is never any staff at reception, the restaurant and bar were closed, no breakfast available, no room service available, matress was too soft, was did not go down the bathroom shower hole whilst showering so always standing in soapy water whilst showering, the bathroom floor tiles were old - did not get replaced when bathroom was renovated. Furniture in room was old and so were the curtains, carpet was old and uninviting. The room was not serviced at all after the first night. Would not stay here again and a rip off for what you pay for the room - and we were in the business room as well...:(

The motel itself is very run dow the gardens and gazebo areas very untidy and unkept.The room was very old and outdated badly needs upgrading although the bed was comfortable. The price was far too expensive. Will not be staying there again.

We were unable to check in until after 5:00 pm, as the room was not ready. When we finally entered the room, it had not been properly cleaned. The window was poorly sealed, with the air-conditioning pipe attached using tape, which was very concerning as it could allow insects or even snakes to enter the room. In addition, the service at reception was very poor. The staff member was rude and did not communicate properly, leaving us waiting for a long time without clear information about when the room would be ready. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I would definitely not stay at this motel again.

Beds were really.comfortable and roo.was quite large. Nobody was there qhen qe arrived to check in or check out. The water pressure was almost non existent and there was rubbish all around the property, whoch is a real shame as the grampians is such a beautiful area. The chairs in the room fell iver from just hanging a jacket over the back. It was a cheap stay for 2 nights stay 5 minute walking distance to town centre.

Hotels are an asset, but too often hotel owners see their upkeep as a burden. This place has the bones of an incredible destination venue - but instead I got a mouldy shower, smeared carpet and manky old used tissues in the bathroom vanity. Needs some TLC.

The worst experience ever! Incredibly dirty and unhygienic, no housekeeping and they don’t even change towels or bins even when asked multiple times. Carpet was filthy and smelly, towels were brown and stained despite my repeated requests for clean towels. I would never stay here again.

It is a good hotel, but the shower was terrible. There is a huge difference in water pressure between the cold and hot water, making nit quite challenging to get the shower to behave as desired. Language barrier with the operators made it slightly more challenging, but still a decent place to stay.

Spacious clean room. Comfy bed. Only issue was the heating - reverse cycle airconditioner was not working properly and the room was freezing cold. Thank goodness there were heated blankets on the bed

Bed wasn’t great and wasn’t made to hotel standards. Shower door was hard to close. Bit tired - rooms need updating. The outside grounds were unkept and not looked after. Bits of rubbish laying around. Needs a good tidy up.

Comfortable stay, generous sized room. Great location within an easy walk to town. Only downside was check in. We arrived at 6pm, reception wasn’t attended. Called the mobile twice and call would not go through. Had to use the emergency phone out side to make contact to check in .

It's a good place to stay. Is it perfect? No, It's affordable. It's everything you should expect for the price. I don't have anything to complain about except the pipes making noise in the walls from thermal expansion. But, it's affordable and I would stay again.

The room we stayed in was adequate. The location and surrounding was very good. The views and nearby wildlife was a highlight. What we didnt like was that BBQs they advertised did not work and were rusty. This meant we had to eat out every meal which was expensive. Also the shower was very temperamental, it would go from very hot to very cold.

The location is stunning and it’s clear the town is still recovering after the fires. The hotel’s a quick walk to town, but the website really needs an update. Our room looked refreshed, but the shower was a nightmare—either boiling or freezing, no in-between. Reception was empty the whole time, so no way to report it. Most facilities weren’t working: games room locked, restaurant and café clearly closed for ages, gym and sauna looked abandoned. Rubbish bags and loose rubbish scattered everywhere, throughout the grounds of this beautiful property. Laundry seemed to work though. This place has real potential, but right now it’s not what’s advertise

Did not enjoy the stay here for two nights. There is never any staff at reception, the restaurant and bar were closed, no breakfast available, no room service available, matress was too soft, was did not go down the bathroom shower hole whilst showering so always standing in soapy water whilst showering, the bathroom floor tiles were old - did not get replaced when bathroom was renovated. Furniture in room was old and so were the curtains, carpet was old and uninviting. The room was not serviced at all after the first night. Would not stay here again and a rip off for what you pay for the room - and we were in the business room as well...:(

Very poor service and unprofessional staff. As they mentioned there is Spa and breakfast but there was nothing. Bathroom was full of insect , mosquitoes and spiders

Stayed 1 cold and wet night, the room was freezing on arrival. After playing with the heater for an hour finally got the room warm and cozy. The bed was very comfy, but only 2 pillows on the bed with 1 spare in the closet. The bathroom was very spacious, took a while for the hot water to come through but once it did was a pleasant shower. Dined in at the restaurant, again it was cold, we were the only ones dining. Food was absolutely delicious, and got a discount as an overnight guest to the hotel. Would I stay again? Yes but may I suggest you pop the heater on for your guests who are arriving on cold evenings.

This was great family accomodation once, the new management seem to be running this place into the ground. While it's an older property, we found it to be over priced, dirty and disappointing. Staff just don't seem to care about customer service or maintaining any kind of standard you would expect in a $200+ per night room in Victoria, Australia.

Place is very run down with dirty showers. Even though they advertise housekeeping, the beds weren’t made daily and dishes weren’t cleaned or replaced, which made things difficult unless you brought your own supplies. The bathroom looked like it had been renovated at some point, but unfortunately it hasn’t been maintained. Maintenance around the property also seems to be an issue, the playground didn’t feel safe and the pool area was dirty and unkept. On the positive side, the room was warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we won’t be returning.

Wouldn't stay here again. Has been let run down, very out dated. We had problems with the heater and had to get staff to help with the tv as it is also that old it required a set top box that did not work Very disappointed with the room Only positive I could give would be the location
