Rigtigt fint ophold. Var heldig at have udsigt til vandet. Masser af plads og med badekar. Fin og bekvem parkering i gården til fornuftig pris. Et hyggeligt gammelt, charmerende hotel men høfligt personale. Beliggenhed med masser af spisesteder tæt på. Vær opmærksom på, at der ikke findes elkedel på værelset. Jeg havde selv medbragt alt til at kunne lave kaffe. Kunne godt bo her igen.

Hotel Personal sehr nett Hotel schön. Man muss nur sagen mit offenen Fenster schlafen nicht gut weil zu laut und im Hotel ist es auch lauter weil es ein altes Gebäude ist sprich Holzböden.Parkplätze sind vorhanden aber nicht so viele und Tiefgarage sehr flach und eng.Hotel liegt aber sehr gut um alles zu erreichen.Ein Edekamarkt ist in der nähe und sogar ein super Bäcker.

Fint hotel med en god placering i forhold til bymidten og transportmuligheder. Parkering på hotellet er også merkant billigere end andre parkeringsmuliheder i området. Eneste minus ved vores ophold var at vi blev placeret i hotellets bagerste bygning, som ikke er helt på samme niveau som hovedbygningen.

Fint hotel med en god placering i forhold til bymidten og transportmuligheder. Parkering på hotellet er også merkant billigere end andre parkeringsmuliheder i området. Eneste minus ved vores ophold var at vi blev placeret i hotellets bagerste bygning, som ikke er helt på samme niveau som hovedbygningen.

Charmerende værelse med fin udsigt over Alsteren. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme. Det var dejligt med elladestander til bilen, dog var der ikke mange parkeringspladser til selve hotellet.

Great reasonably priced hotel for Hamburg but can just be hot with no air con if hot weather, which is the only downside within the hotel. Parking is limited if you have a big car as well but parking around but like a lot of cities be prepared to fight and pay

Hotellets beliggenhed var god, og der var mulighed for (billig) parkering på stedet. Hotellet er af ældre dato, men vores værelse fremstod pænt og rent, og der var redt fint op til vores søn. Personalet var søde og imødekommende, og var meget hjælpsomme. Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse ift. prisen, og vi vil helst sikkert booke samme hotel igen.

Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern ließ zu wünschen übrig. Der Duschkopf war schmutzig, es sah aus als ob jemand sich übergeben hat & es nicht richtig sauber gemacht wurde. Ich habe es selber entfernen müssen & es war extrem unangenehm. Der Teppich hatte auch Flecken & weckte Assoziationen zur Dusche. Barfuß bin ich nicht durchs Zimmer gelaufen. Da ich wegen der Lärmbelästigung bereits einmal das Zimmer gewechselt hatte, wollte ich es nicht nochmals wechseln. Im Flur standen auch ständig leere Bierflaschen, benutzte Gläser & Tassen herum. Der Geruch war dann auch nicht so angenehm.

Das hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert. Zimmer sauber, das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und das Personal nett und zuvorkommend. Zudem ist das Zimmermädchen nur auf Anfrage zum sauber machen gekommen, was ich auch durchaus positiv sehe.

Hotellet har bra parkering och är relativt billigt men har du höga krav på standard är detta inget för dig. Fläckar på sängen, spritflaskor ute i gängarna och ganska slitet. Vi hade bokat två nätter men avbokade den ena natten. Sköna sängar och tyst.

This is a charming old/classy hotel; spacious rooms with bright & warm ambiance. The carpet, some walls & furniture would need to be a bit refreshed... Room & bathroom was clean; daily cleaning is only on request. The bed was comfortable; a queen/king bed is actually made of 2 twin beds next to each other. Location was very good: across the lake and in walking distance to center. CONs: room air is not circulated and it can get stuffy; the rooms facing the lake & street are very noisy (from traffic) when window is opened. No shampoo, conditioner, body cream provided; just liquid soap. Not available: kettle, minifridge, ice machine, coffee/tea station, english TV channel. One would need to ask reception for anything extra (hot water, coffee, etc.). Staff is professional & polite.

Overall really nice hotel! Great location for being near the water, and walkable from the train station. My bad that I didn't connect the dots on how loud it would be, since it's on the street and there's no air conditioning, so you need the windows open for fresh air. There also wasn't any soap in the shower.

Room was ok, bed was quite cozy actually. The building however, is not well soundproofed. It was ok because I only stayed for one night. I didn’t have breakfast so I don’t have an opinion on that.

Standardhotel in der Nähe der Innenstadt und des Hauptbahnhofs, beides zu Fuß erreichbar. Freundliches Personal, Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Dickes Minus: extrem hellhörig! Man hört alles in voller Lautstärke aus den Nachbarzimmern und vom Flur, was es mitunter schwierig machte erholsamen Schlaf zu finden.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, ansprechende Lobby, auch Zimmer ( im Anbau) schönes Design, ruhig, gutes Bett, Bad alles gut funktioniert. Gute Lage, nicht sehr weit zum Bahnhof und Innenstadt. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

I strongly do not recommend this hotel to other travellers for numerous reasons. Lack of Privacy: Although check-out is at 11am, the hotel cleaners came into the room at 10:30am, while I was half-dressed in the bathroom. Then 5 minutes later, another cleaner came into the room unannounced. It is such a huge violation of personal privacy and highly disrespectful. Cleaners should wait until check-out time has passed before entering the rooms of guests. Payment Issues: Additionally, upon check out, the credit card machine was broken. I attempted to use 2 different credit cards but an error arose on the screen before I was prompted for my PIN. The front desk staff insisted it was my problem rather than their machine. They insisted I go to the bank and pay them cash which would incur significant foreign transaction fees and would exceed my daily limit. Despite my requests, they would not check their machine with another small transaction. Finally, they figured out how to use their computer to charge my credit card rather than relying on the broken machine. They never apologized or admitted their machine was broken. I have never received such a great level of disrespect at any hotel premises before. Although the building is decent, the staff lacks common decency, consideration and manners. Accessibility: There are a few steps outside the building and a few steps inside the building to get to reception which make it challenging when traveling with a stroller.

Ideale Lage: nach vorne die Aussenalster, nach hinten die Lange Reihe mit Restaurants, Geschäften, Eisdiele, Delikatessen und Busstation Richtung Bahnhof und Barmbek, weiter von dort zum Flughafen. Ich hatte schon zum zweiten Mal ein Zimmer im Anbau nach hinten Richtung Seitenstrasse, deshalb sehr ruhig. Zimmer ist nicht neu, aber alles hat funktioniert, auch Wlan (einfach jedes Mal neu verbinden). Habe gut geschlafen, das ist für mich neben der Lage das Wichtigste, und das zu einem guten Preis. Jederzeit wieder.

Nette und preiswerte Unterkunft, ideal für ein Städteweekend. Aus Zeitgründen das Frühstück für 20 Euro diesen Aufenthalt leider nicht genutzt. The room was clean, the initial reception staff were friendly but we had a delay at the end as city tax not taken at start (and was in a rush for an early train). Technically we had a lake view but what with trees, road and night club not a great view. Not in their control but the night club/restaurant over the road played astoundingly loud music until around midnight. When reception informed that this was causing sleep issues they said that nothing they could do - the city has strict night time noise rules and I was surprised they didn't want to chase this with the establishment or the local police. I referred this to Hamburg police after no response. That all said the rooms were huge. No AC as expected. The bathrooms were fine though some work needs doing here to make it up to the standard we'd have expected. The bed were nice and the whole place was well presented. Would I stay again? Hard to say - it was HOT and what with no AC and having to close windows due to music... probably not.
