The motel itself is fine if a little dated. However note: * The restaurant is closed * The golf course is closed In fact, more than 1/2 of Wisemans is closed. So for a 2 night stay, in good weather, to take in the local walks and sights is about all I can recommend

Lovely grounds, great location. "River view" rooms not actually "view", more like "aspect". Nice big pool, good BBQ facilities. It would be great if there was info in the room about local attractions, especially as the Wi-Fi wasn't great and there's no Vodafone reception in the valley.

This was a great getaway location for a few nights, towels, linen etc. provided. unfortunately it was a bit messy upon entrance, but we cleaned and felt more comfortable. the room we were in had no kitchen sink or dishwashing liquid, brush etc. so while we did mostly eat our own food, it is a good idea to stay here and plan to eat out. we did our washing up in the bathroom sink. the water gets extremely hot!! fast!! but once the temperature is adjusted the shower and sink are great. definitely would like to come back despite it all. beautiful property, so close to the grocers and café and more. we went to st albans on our way home and that was beautiful too.

The grounds and the bird life were beautiful. There was a conference at the time but it was still quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable. The "kitchen area" was very small and a microwave would have been extremely useful. Also a small table and chairs would have been great. Overall though we had a lovely stay in a serene beautiful area and would go back again.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was presented in a neat & clean condition. They accommodated our request for a late check-in. We had a minor hiccup on the first night when the bathroom door got locked from the inside & couldn't be opened. Lisa took care of it the next morning. Room service was completed at request. There's heaps of open space & amenities inside the property to keep the little ones engaged.The free wifi was unreliable & kept dropping out. The pool gates were locked after 5pm although on the property info section on expedia it says it will be open till 8pm. They slug you with a 1.5 percent credit card surcharge if you pay directly at the property, so best to pay online for your booking.

Place is absolutely amazing, I booked this place the night before and was surprised by all the amenities and the amazing kid friends pub across the road. I would have given 5 stars on everything, only problem I found was that the children’s pool, the bottom of it, paint? Comes off when you’re swimming around. Other than that it’s well thought out, at reception they have pool games that you can buy, goggles, food, wine, ice cream and even aerogard if needed. I would highly recommend this retreat and I will be back!

Overall happy and complete with the stay. believe stay was wonderful, however with certain equipment ie microwave, mop, vacume not being in rooms is a bit of a burden having walk far to heat up a meal and not being able to clean things of floor. I undertand cleaners come around, but having a family there that equipment would do us good. Please also be specific with "No Smoking" instructions as it states not to smoke in unit or on premises and not in complex itself as complex also has other areas. Please make instructions more specific.

We booked this accommodation very least minute, which turns out it was even after the reception has closed for the night. We arrived very late and as reception was closed for the night had not been left any key or self check in keys. The night caretaker was extremely helpful in finding out booking and coming out in the rain to give us the keys and check us in. The room was clean and spacious and the resort looked great had it not been for the bad weather we would have enjoyed spending time by the pool and surrounds. Will definitely come back in better weather and enjoy everything properly.

Who gave this place four stars? It's dated and needs updating badly. Every tile in the shower was cracked, there was mildew different places in the shower. The mattresses were old and sagging. The buildings itself looks nice and strurdy. They need to work on the inside of the rooms.

A great place to stay, away from the Sydney lights, awesome views of the surrounding bushland, river and stars. Room was a little musty, but clean and the bed was divine. Priced well.

My stay at the property was amazing. The hotel is set in a very quiet and relaxing area and has easy access to dining and convenience shopping. Check in was a breeze and the team were really welcoming, friendly and easy to deal with. I recommend the executive suite option if you get the opportunity to book as it is extremely spacious.

My stay at the property was amazing. The hotel is set in a very quiet and relaxing area and has easy access to dining and convenience shopping. We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was presented in a neat & clean condition. They accommodated our request for a late check-in. We had a minor hiccup on the first night when the bathroom door got locked from the inside & couldn't be opened. Lisa took care of it the next morning. Room service was completed at request. There's heaps of open space & amenities inside the property to keep the little ones engaged.The free wifi was unreliable & kept dropping out. The pool gates were locked after 5pm although on the property info section on expedia it says it will be open till 8pm. They slug you with a 1.5 percent credit card surcharge if you pay directly at the property, so best to pay online for your booking.

Recommend to visit St Albans for the drive through the valley with lunch at the Settlers Arms Inn and a visit of the Old Great North Road / Convict trail.

I was requested by staff to attend earlier than scheduled on the public holiday and was informed that no one would be available after 3:00 p.m. However, during this period, telephone calls were not answered, and there was no internet connectivity or access to Netflix in the rooms. Considering the rate of $340.00 per night, this was quite disappointing and not reflective of the standard expected. The property itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, it does not appear to be managed or operated effectively.

Lovely grounds, great location. "River view" rooms not actually "view", more like "aspect". Nice big pool, good BBQ facilities. It would be great if there was info in the room about local attractions, especially as the Wi-Fi wasn't great and there's no Vodafone reception in the valley.

A great place to stay, away from the Sydney lights, awesome views of the surrounding bushland, river and stars. Room was a little musty, but clean and the bed was divine. Priced well.

My stay at the property was amazing. The hotel is set in a very quiet and relaxing area and has easy access to dining and convenience shopping. Check in was a breeze and the team were really welcoming, friendly and easy to deal with. I recommend the executive suite option if you get the opportunity to book as it is extremely spacious.

A peaceful and beautiful escape to Wisemans Ferry. The surroundings were stunning, and it was the perfect getaway. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be returning.

The grounds and the bird life were beautiful. There was a conference at the time but it was still quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable. The "kitchen area" was very small and a microwave would have been extremely useful. Also a small table and chairs would have been great. Overall though we had a lovely stay in a serene beautiful area and would go back again.

The motel itself is fine if a little dated. However note: * The restaurant is closed * The golf course is closed In fact, more than 1/2 of Wisemans is closed. So for a 2 night stay, in good weather, to take in the local walks and sights is about all I can recommend

Everything was lovely. Wipe benches due to ‘nature’ visitors when unattended as expected in bushy area. Rooms nice. Supermarket would be the only thing i avoid next time across the road. The staff were lovely but one of their elder workers (lady) was rude to us for sitting in their dining area as she was rushing around. We were there for disability respite and she definitely made us feel unwanted.

This was a great getaway location for a few nights, towels, linen etc. provided. unfortunately it was a bit messy upon entrance, but we cleaned and felt more comfortable. the room we were in had no kitchen sink or dishwashing liquid, brush etc. so while we did mostly eat our own food, it is a good idea to stay here and plan to eat out. we did our washing up in the bathroom sink. the water gets extremely hot!! fast!! but once the temperature is adjusted the shower and sink are great. definitely would like to come back despite it all. beautiful property, so close to the grocers and café and more. we went to st albans on our way home and that was beautiful too.

Place is absolutely amazing, I booked this place the night before and was surprised by all the amenities and the amazing kid friends pub across the road. I would have given 5 stars on everything, only problem I found was that the children’s pool, the bottom of it, paint? Comes off when you’re swimming around. Other than that it’s well thought out, at reception they have pool games that you can buy, goggles, food, wine, ice cream and even aerogard if needed. I would highly recommend this retreat and I will be back!

I have stayed here before and it was great. Unfortunately this time i felt like i was given the worst room in the resort. Checking into room 106 abutting the servo next door i could smell a sewerage type odour. The bathroom door didnt close and there was a foot long gap in the bottom where slats were missing. The toiletries in shower had not been topped up. I ended up just showering and changing going out to dinner (elsewhere) and on my return i was met with the blaring music coming from the bowlo across the road. As i had only minimal drinks at dinner i decided to cut my losses and drive the 40km back home. A real shame and a very expensive shower to say the least.

didn't do activities in Nat. Park. We went on a family history search, mailny St Aubins. No water hot or cold in morning! they supplied breakfast vouchers at greasy spoon across the road to make up for no showers!!!

The room was clean & comfortable but I would not stay in room 105 as it was next to the main road & service station. Also there were guests making a great deal of loud noise outside the room at 11pm
