Excellent stay with great staff all around, very well appointed and spacious rooms. Diner was excellent while the breakfast could use a bit more variety such as some non dairy options and efforts to keep the food hot. But overall a wonderful hotel highly recommended.

Nice, historic looking hotel, very close to Interlaken West train station. Rooms were nice and staff were friendly. Restaurant and bar area felt a bit dated.

A great hotel in the heart of Interlaken. Directly on a street with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The building is old, but well-kept, comfortable, and clean. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The patio is a great spot to have a beverage and people watch.

Hotel com excelente localização com estacionamento pago e excelente café da manhã. Quarto muito bom com frigobar e água evian gratis todos os dias. Jantamos no hotel e gostamos bastante do raclete e fondue. Para hospedes do hotel tem 10% de desconto no restaurante. Hotel muito bom.

We vacationed at Interlaken for a Fall excursion and decided to stay at the Hotel Krebs. Location - It is located in a central area with many shops (tourist type as well as others) and restaurants. All within 0-10 minute walk. We enjoyed the local Thai & Indian restaurants, and shopped at Patagonia. Interlaken OST train statin is about 10 min away. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. They upgraded our stay (likely since October is a slower month for tourists) to a larger room. Room was very clean, modern & comfortable. Water was provided every day, as well coffee for the maker in the room. Bathroom was also modern, with plenty of hot water and towels. Room service cleaned / made up every day (if you choose to) & everything was well done. Breakfast was included in our stay & there were plenty of options - food was good and juice / coffee plentiful. Tables were clean and there was staff available to help (although it's a self service buffet style breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel restuarant one night, we chose cheese fondu and it was great - it is also reasonable priced for the area (dining out in Switzerland is high priced if you aren't aware). Parking is available but limited - they have 7-8 spots, so it helps to call / email ahead to request a spot. It's right next to the hotel, so very convenient to get to. Overall - An excellent hotel and stay, we highly recommend it and will use it again on future trips to Interlaken.

Hotel was OK, Car parking charge was expensive at 15CHF per night, paid 5CHF in a 4* hotel in Grindelwald. There was 2 Families staying at each end of my corridor who lived with their doors open and kids running amok and the hotel did nothing. Breakfast staff were a bit misterable.

The property is a little tired, but clean. The staff was incredible and very accommodating. The restaurant and bar were very good. Close to the West Train station, so easy to get everywhere.

Everything was great, staff was great. The building was old due to the history which was fine. It gave it a real homey feel. There was mold in the grout in the shower which is why I gave it a 4 star. Everything else was great

Everything was a 5⭐️! Check in was smooth and friendly. The lady was kind and helpfu. The room is very clean, quiet and lots of amenities including slippers, toothbrush with toothpaste and tons of toiletries. The coop store is next door if you need to grab some food and etc. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wonderful hotel near the Interlaken West train station. Nice sitting lobby. Good breakfast. Excellent, clean room with lots of amenities. Very comfortable!

The hotel is old, but charming. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and clean. There were generous bathroom amenities, including hotel branded slippers. I accidentally dropped an earring and when searching for it, I found the floors to be very dusty. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Great place, very close to the West Bahnhof. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff is very nice. Restaurant is very good as well and the included breakfast was far beyond expected.

We arrived early in the day and we checking in but had the hotel hold our bags. Hotel is located close to Interlaken West station and very convenient to the buses. The are is very busy with a lot of shops and dining. The hotel was very nicely decorated and clean. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I did ask for extra pillows which they brought up right away. Our room was in the back corner and very quiet. We had a balcony but it was raining so we didn't use it. breakfast was traditional European and was perfect for us. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms were clean. Close to train. Hotel seemed dirty upon walking in and didn’t give a good vibe right away. Smelled gross. No A/C. Front desk rude. Not worth the money, would rather go some other hotel in the area.

It was very well situated on the main street. We had the corner room 304. It had excellent views from both windows. The room was spacious with a couch and area to relax in. The beds were very comfortable and the room had been updated well. And the air conditioning was great, which was not the case with our rooms in Basel or Zurich. The only downside was that the tub was about 6 inches higher than the floor to step out of. And two of the mornings the breakfast items hadn't been replenished. We were told they had a big group traveling before us and to be patient. But, the overall experience at this hotel was great! So convenient!

Generally an average European tourist stay. Staff were very friendly, although they miscalculated part of the bill tied to dining and did charge $10chf for a lost room key. Not an actual "key", mind you, a plastic key card like the rest of the world uses. I've never seen that before. That left a bad last impression. The bar is very simple, restaurant okay with great service. While our room did have a thermostat, we weren't sure what it controlled. There was no obvious a/c but the sleeping weather with the windows open was nice. But it gets VERY loud very late into the night from the PATIO area below; something the hotel could control. That said, Interlaken draws from all parts of the world and this hotel was indeed a melting pot (no pun intended). So be mindful that other guests etiquette may not be the same as yours.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We did experience limited cooling in our room which made it very warm while trying to sleep. The breakfast buffet in the morning is okay. Both mornings of our stay there were no scrambled eggs. The pan was empty. The individual servicing the breakfast seemed to have a lack of interest. We requested an ironing board and iron and was told that we could come down to the front desk to pick it up instead of it being delivered to our room by the staff. Little things like that that kind of irked us a bit.

Our stay was comfortable, the room was spacious and clean with all the expected amenities. Our only issue with the hotel was the shower. It was over the bath and not easy to turn around for a normal shower. I am not a large person and could not imagine how someone who was large would manage.

This hotel was in a great location for convenience to the trains and walking around the city. The staff were nice, the room was nice, and my only negative is that is was hard to sleep at night as it was loud outside.

The bed were awfully soft. The tub you needed a stool to get into and were very dangerous. The breakfast was OK to poor. The room was kept clean and the staff pleasant. Over all I would not stay there again.

Very close to Interlaken West train depot and boat for LakeThun. Breakfast was included and served a good variety of pastries, cold cuts, yogurt and hot foods. Great customer service. Room was wonderful. The rooms are not air conditioned but it was cool during our stay at night and the windows opened. They provided many toiletry items in the bathroom including toothbrush/toothpaste, razor, sewing kit, and nail kit. There’s a grocery store next door and coffee shop and McDonald’s across the street. There are also some very good restaurants nearby and the Funky Chocolate Club is just a block away. It is a busy street so a bit noisy outside in the evening and morning when sleeping with the windows open.

The hotel does not accomodate for change of plans by not allowing for an earlier checkout than your original booking. They charge for the entire booking stay.

I rarely write poor reviews. I usually read them and find that people are complaining for minimal reasons. However, I felt the need to write this review. I had 3 rooms for two days at Hotel Kreb. Location was good. Rooms were decent. However, two of the rooms had problems with the showers. Two showers would not work. One shower had parts of the shower fall apart and land on me when I was showering from the shower head. One would not work at all. When we asked for support at the front desk (and we literally had to get out of the shower and go to the lobby) I was told there was nothing they could do and that they were happy to offer me another towel. I didn't need a towel ... I needed a shower. The tub would not drain. The towel heater leaked water all over the floor. My sister almost fell on the floor. When we told them they said "oh sorry....that is too bad." None of the outlets would work with my European appliances. I asked if they would consider doing anything for compensation and was told "no". We had concierge support that gave us incorrect information. Overall... not a wow for service but the hotel was decent. I let them know at the front desk that I was would be writing this review and they said "okay." The service was provided by Kristina.

We stayed two nights at Hotel Krebs and enjoyed our stay very much! Marina at the front desk was delightful and was so welcoming and friendly! She helped us store our luggage prior to check-in and after checking out so we didn’t have to lug it around Interlaken while we explored the area. She also upgraded us for the second night which was so thoughtful of her! The breakfast was great and we ate in the hotel restaurant both nights. The food and service were excellent! We would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area in the future.

The staff is amazing! Christina and Pami were extremely helpful, kind, welcoming, and pleasant! The cleaning lady was also lovely and efficient. Everything top notch. They provided toiletries, slippers, waters, coffee and fridge in room. The hotel itself is historic, yet all the modern conveniences. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. The location is perfect, 5 minute walk to train station. We highly recommend!

Hotel was OK, Car parking charge was expensive at 15CHF per night, paid 5CHF in a 4* hotel in Grindelwald. There was 2 Families staying at each end of my corridor who lived with their doors open and kids running amok and the hotel did nothing. Breakfast staff were a bit misterable.

We were able to check in early, and to our surprise, our rooms were upgraded to family suites, which was much appreciated given my wife’s mobility needs. My wife stopped by the front desk to ask about the route route to Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, and the Schilthorn. A little later, there was a knock on our door — Judit from the front desk came by and walked us through a clear, step-by-step plan for the journey. It was thoughtful and took the guesswork out of the morning.

Great place, very close to the West Bahnhof. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff is very nice. Restaurant is very good as well and the included breakfast was far beyond expected.

A great hotel in the heart of Interlaken. Directly on a street with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The building is old, but well-kept, comfortable, and clean. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The patio is a great spot to have a beverage and people watch.

Hotel was just a5 minute walk from Interlaken West train station, which made travel from Zurich very nice. The area is busy during the day, but at night was so quiet. The rooms were clean and well-stocked with teas and coffees along with nice bathroom amenities. Everyone on staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Perfectly located , only a short one minute walk from the Interlaken West train station. Super convenient to get bus and transportation through the greater Interlacken area. Short walk to trains to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Jongfrau Joch. Great tourist, shopping and low-cost, studying options with coffee, shops, and grocery stores nearby.

Excellent stay with great staff all around, very well appointed and spacious rooms. Diner was excellent while the breakfast could use a bit more variety such as some non dairy options and efforts to keep the food hot. But overall a wonderful hotel highly recommended.

Bonne situation, chambre et salle de bain propres. Accueil professionnel mais avec un manque de chaleur. Déceptions pour le petit déjeuner: A 9h00 choix déjà restreint, pas de personnel pour répondre aux questions, par exemple hot milk presque froid, plus de sachets de chocolat etc… Mais surtout énormément de tables non desservies et la vue des restes de nourriture ne donne pas envie de manger!!

Hotel com excelente localização com estacionamento pago e excelente café da manhã. Quarto muito bom com frigobar e água evian gratis todos os dias. Jantamos no hotel e gostamos bastante do raclete e fondue. Para hospedes do hotel tem 10% de desconto no restaurante. Hotel muito bom.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We did experience limited cooling in our room which made it very warm while trying to sleep. The breakfast buffet in the morning is okay. Both mornings of our stay there were no scrambled eggs. The pan was empty. The individual servicing the breakfast seemed to have a lack of interest. We requested an ironing board and iron and was told that we could come down to the front desk to pick it up instead of it being delivered to our room by the staff. Little things like that that kind of irked us a bit.

We vacationed at Interlaken for a Fall excursion and decided to stay at the Hotel Krebs. Location - It is located in a central area with many shops (tourist type as well as others) and restaurants. All within 0-10 minute walk. We enjoyed the local Thai & Indian restaurants, and shopped at Patagonia. Interlaken OST train statin is about 10 min away. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. They upgraded our stay (likely since October is a slower month for tourists) to a larger room. Room was very clean, modern & comfortable. Water was provided every day, as well coffee for the maker in the room. Bathroom was also modern, with plenty of hot water and towels. Room service cleaned / made up every day (if you choose to) & everything was well done. Breakfast was included in our stay & there were plenty of options - food was good and juice / coffee plentiful. Tables were clean and there was staff available to help (although it's a self service buffet style breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel restuarant one night, we chose cheese fondu and it was great - it is also reasonable priced for the area (dining out in Switzerland is high priced if you aren't aware). Parking is available but limited - they have 7-8 spots, so it helps to call / email ahead to request a spot. It's right next to the hotel, so very convenient to get to. Overall - An excellent hotel and stay, we highly recommend it and will use it again on future trips to Interlaken.

The hotel is historic so parts of it are a little tired as expected; however, the rooms were clean and spacious for the area. The bed was amazingly comfortable! The air conditioning worked well, which was important for us since it was July. One staff member was super helpful and the other was awful. We asked him for a good pastry place and he recommended Dunkin Donuts! When I asked him about places that might work with my food allergies, he said “nowhere, because Swiss food is cheese and bread. Not helpful at all! However, the woman working was incredibly helpful and mapped out a day for us that really leveraged our time and was amazing! And it wasn’t too touristy, but a real recommendation to experience the area. We didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant so I can’t speak to the food quality. Overall good experience and I would probably stay there again.
