"La Chacra" Casa Tipica Valenciana

Very nice house and perfect distance to Valencia by car or metro (very easy).

The property was wonderful, a lifetime’s work filled with beautiful mosaics. A family home that we felt privileged to be able to share for a short time. The pool was amazing, our family loved the setting and the whole property. Guadalupe was the perfect host, she responded to all our requests for tourist information and guidance. She made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t fault anything and would recommend the property wholeheartedly. A car was essential, the house is remote, but within easy reach of shops, restaurants and beaches, aswell as the city of Valencia. We stayed as a family group of ten, ages ranging from 8 months to 69. Thank you for letting us visit 💕

We were a family of 8 staying in this amazing house. It’s beautiful and a place to go on adventure. It’s very easy to experience the owners love for the place and how many hours has been used to make this house magical. The surroundings and the pool are amazing too. We were treated by the owners daughter and husband but also met the owner. If I could Spanish I would imagine he would be able to tell fantastic stories as he had done with the house. We travel a lot to many countries. This house is on our top list of places we’ve visited. Thanks 🙏

The home is unique, beautiful and lovingly cared for. The host Guadalupe and Marie are wonderful and always available if needed-which we did. The home is the perfect place for a group to stay and enjoy the sun and pool. The home was further out from Valencia old town than we expected so you definitely need a car or fluent in Spanish to book taxis (which are limited). We were four seniors that arrived late in the day and were dropped off by two fellow travelers that stayed in the city for a work conference so we had no car and unprepared for no services within walking distance. Guadalupe kindly made a restaurant reservation, drove us to town, provided directions to grocery store and taxi contact. She also alerted the taxi driver, who fortunately spoke English and watch for us. Guadalupe was such wonderful host. We had to impose on her a few more times to book a taxi since we could not communicate in Spanish.
