Loved that they provided free laundry machines to use, and it had a tv in the laundry room for when you had to wait or fold clothes. Also loved that there was a restaurant onsite, and that coffee and koolaid was accessible in the lobby. And loved the views. I would stay here again. Large rooms, comfy beds, and lovely bedding to sleep in.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maligne Lodge and were very pleased with the location and the room. The staff members at the reception desk were friendly and helpful, despite handling a number of incoming calls from travellers looking for rooms. They quickly checked us in, providing us with our room keys and relevant information about Jasper. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The cafe next to the hotel is really lovely, with great coffee and nice breakfast options.

This property was incredibly dirty! Blood was found on the pillowcases and when requesting new bedding, the night clerk service lied and said there was no housekeeping staff available to change bedding! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!

The front office staff were very friendly. The room had an odor of cat pee. This motel was at the edge of the town so a little more walking to get to amenities. Didn't realize that our room had a fridge until the last day when we were leaving. It was hidden in the dresser. A heads up about that would have been nice.

Great Stay, only feed back is Air Conditioning needs improvement. As the AC in the outer room doesn't cool the inner rooms. Instead a centralized system with vents is much better. Otherwise the stay is very good. Very well decorated lodge.

This hotel met our needs just fine. While the hotel might be older (but pretty sure most hotels in Jasper are) our room was recently renovated so it was nice. The town of Jasper is not very big so easy enough to just park your vehicle at the hotel and walk all over which we did. I was surprised by the pricing of hotels to stay in Jasper so we only stayed the one night.

This hotel met our needs just fine. While the hotel might be older (but pretty sure most hotels in Jasper are) our room was recently renovated so it was nice. The town of Jasper is not very big so easy enough to just park your vehicle at the hotel and walk all over which we did. Location was great and the room was spacious enough for the 2 of us but it was very noisy. We woke up to the toilet flushing/shower running and people walking around in the room above us. The beds were very soft and the pillows double thick/way too thick! Location for one night made it worthwhile though.

Checked in early and got an upgraded room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a small plumbing issue and it was dealt with quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

We did our best to reason with the management about our cancellation regarding the WestJet strike. They refused to negotiate with us on adjusting our stay or refunding us. We had hoped that they could give us more leeway given how difficult it was for us to deal with our flight cancellation but they could only give us credit until the end of the year (the tourist season ends in October). We had only a few of our party able to stay and the service was unsatisfactory. We urge anyone reading this review to reconsider Maligne Lodge for their inflexible booking policies

One person for a long time at check-in office and had to wait far too long to go through check-in process. Feeble air conditioning in my unit and in my friend's unit. Lost all internet for an hour the evening we were here which also meant no TV as well. Would definitely NOT stay again.

Our stay was great! Service was great! The room was great! We came to celebrate our daughters 5th birthday and before hand we were asked if there was any special reason we were traveling and we mentioned it was for our daughters birthday. Well when we walking in, they had the most beatiful set up waiting in the room for her. Towels in the shapes of elephants, a birthday card wrote out for her and chocolates on a big towel heart. She was so excited to see that when we walked into our room. They made our stay even more special. We also really enjoyed walking into town everyday for eats and shopping. Wasn't to far for us and the kids. We will stay there again for our next trip for sure.

The cafe next to the hotel is really lovely, with great coffee and nice breakfast options.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maligne Lodge and were very pleased with the location and the room. The staff members at the reception desk were friendly and helpful, despite handling a number of incoming calls from travellers looking for rooms. The hotel staff were polite and friendly with an easy check in. Parking near our back side room was terrible. Although outdated, the room was clean and well kept. We were disappointed that The dining room was t open for dinner. By the time we left, ordered and ate dinner elsewhere and returned, the pool was closing (at 9:00 pm) . The room was pricey for how basic it was but I think you are paying for the Jasper location. Overall, this hotel provided a good place to sleep while on a trip.

Love that the Wicked Cup is attached. Great breakfast spot! Service was terrific and the staff friendly, greeting you if they walk past. They were out of our room type so upgraded us free to a suite. Pool, hot tub and gym spaces look awesome though we didn’t get a chance to try them out. The room is certainly dated though. Our washroom door was incredibly squeaky and hard to close or open. The washroom floor was slanted towards the toilet. There could be a fan in the washroom. Not sure the purpose of the vent right in the shower…maybe it’s supposed to act like a fan, but it certainly gives off a creepy vibe and probably should be replaced. The beds were comfy and I like that there’s a little deck.

Our room had 2 rooms and a kitchen. Such a nice thing to have after long days of driving. The scenery was incredible and this lodge was in a great location. Thrilled with how kind the woman who checked us in was. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of

Had an amazing stay at Maligne when we visited back in April 2024, very sad to see what has happened due to the wildfires, the place was under some renovations when we went. Overall the staff were friendly and the lodge was a comfortable stay with the kitchen amenities provided we were able to make our own meals which was really convenient.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They made us pack up and leave 4 hours after checking in to the motel, because a wildfire alert caused everyone in town to be evacuated. I understand why they made us leave, but we never received a refund for that night or the next. Took over 21 hours (no sleep and I had to drive the entire time) and 2000 kms to get another room…in Calgary. My contract was for two night's lodging. They failed to fulfill the contract and refund my money ($507 USD). Why should I have to pay for two days use when the motel’s management made me leave, which was not my fault or under my control. Maligne Lodge has insurance for this sort of thing, so why should I the patron take the hit?
